Don't go there. HORRIBLE! The waitresses staff are rude and overwhelmed. This is the second time I've gone there with a few months in between and it just gotten worse. Don't ask to be serve because "Caroline" is so rude. She literally said "don't you see I'm busy?". Honey, I've been a waitress at a Mexican restaurant. I don't care how busy you are, if they're on your section or not, you take care of that customer. Period. High quality service is a like a unicorn. Another customer and I sat there for about 10 minutes (he was there for 10 minutes before me) and none of the employees walking right in front of us even acknowledged us with a "welcome, we will be right with you". He said "I won't be wasting another 20mins being ignored" and walked out... I walked out right after Caroline's disrespectful attitude. The in and out of the whole place is on a challenging street with heavy traffic so not worth the trouble. Just go a few miles up and you'll find another one. NOT worth it. read more

Omg, the grits were EVERYTHING!!!! All the food was delicious but those grits set my heart on fire and I can just eat a bowl of that by itself lol The food came out hot and fresh and very quickly. The staff were super friendly and took the time to come to our table often to check on us. It was definitely a diner experience and I loved the down home feel of it! One word: Filthy. We came here for breakfast for the first time ever and this location was disgusting! Leaves, dirt, mud and spilled food was all over the ground. All of the tables and the bar were filled with dirty plates. The workers were too busy bickering in the kitchen to address us. When they finally noticed us standing there, they wiped off one table and it still had spilt syrup on it. So we decided to just leave and call the manager. I have never reviewed a Waffle House before, hell I haven't eaten at one in over 25 years. But I am fixing to get on the road back to Jokelahoma, the hotel doesn't do hot breakfasts anymore and quite frankly I was Hangry! This place shares a parking lot with the hotel I was at, so it was easy to walk over and put my name on the list and get some grub. This spot was doing an excellent job with it's covid procedures considering that most of the dunces I saw in Tennessee were ignoring mask requirements completely. Wait for this place was less than 5 min, everybody working was masked and they spent considerable time cleaning and sanitizing after customers. Food wasn't great but certainly wasn't awful and filled the hole that let me continue my journey. read more

We ordered to-go, four meals. They managed to get something on every order wrong. Two were completely incorrect. Didn't discover until my wife returned home with the food. Incredible. What's worse is that the only way to get them to correct their mistakes is to return to the restaurant as you can't get a live employee on the phone now. Went to the White Bridge Rd. location the day after Christmas, 2022. There was only one employee working, Ronaldo (? sp). He did a great job in spite of being cook, waiter, busboy and cashier. The food was excellent, better than I remembered from the last time I was there. They were out of waffle mix but he offered us pie instead. All good. If Management read this, please give Ronaldo a promotion and a raise and incentivize your other employees. read more

Normally this place is spot on. We have our usual waitress and we are usually sitting at the booths by the windows. This time we had a different waitress and service was shit. It took 20 minutes for our waitress to realize we were even at the booth.. she came over asking if we were taken care of yet. Obviously not. You're our waitress. She didn't come ask us if we needed refills. She forgot my waffle, never even brought it btw and our gravy, never brought that either. Didn't bring any jam. No refills on the coffee and soda. This was absolutely the crappiest service we have ever had at this waffle she completely ignored our table the entire time.. Only reason we left her a tip was because my husband said to leave her one. Personally I would have left the girl nothing! Thats how bad our service was. Food this time was okay. The cook put waaaayyyy too much butter in the grits making them inedible. A tip- if its a girl cook dont go to waffle house go somewhere else. Only dine if you can get the boy cooks. Ask to be put in the booths by the windows where the waitresses are more attentive. read more

The audacity of these workers to not take to-go orders over the phone! I called 21 times from 11:25pm until 11:36pm and not one person could at least pick up the phone to place me on hold! I drove by to see if they were slammed! They had two seated tables and a group of three standing at the register! During the height of COVID I had no problem getting to someone to answer the phone! Terrible location. They claim they are open 24 hours but when they don't feel like working anymore they either lock the door or tell people it's "to go" only. I understand everywhere is short staffed, but i would understand this if it were actually busy. The last time i went the tables were just dirty but there were maybe 5 people inside. I got greeted with, " we are "to go"only because we only have two servers." Two servers for 7 people, five of whom already have their food? Are you understaffed or just wanting to run people off so you can close. If you have the option, just go to a different diner. read more

This is the first time I've gone to waffle house, and I really enjoyed it! the menu is pretty simple, and the food tastes pretty good. I ordered a hashbrowns with onions and cheese. I'm kind of disappointed that they just put on a slice of american cheese on top of the hashbrowns and it cost 50 cents. The hashbrowns were great though, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Service was really great and I love how they have so many sauces on the table that you can add to your meal. read more

2am fine dining at it's best! As a Californian I have never heard these waffle houses prior to visiting Nashville. I'm used to Roscoes and the disgusting establishments called Denny's. But this place was definitely an experience for the ages! We came here early April after a night of drinking. Some of my friends throw out the term waffle house and I had no idea what they talking about. I thought it was some kind of southern slang so I dismissed it. One of my friends almost slapped me. Have you ever had that time where a friend hasn't heard of something so wonderful exist. Haven't you heard of Goonies?!?! Wait you haven't seen The Godfather?!?! So the proverbial shouts came. "DUDE we NEED to take you there now!!! As soon as I stepped into this place I immediatley knew why people love Nashville so much. The environment was lively; people talking, cooks grilling, waffles flipping. I had made it to the foodie graceland. I ordered an omelette with hashbrowns and the group ordered about 4 different kinds of waffles. I don't remember the omelette but the only thing that my taste memory collected was the delicious peanut butter and the pecan waffles. The staff was very friendly and the service was really fast. Fast service but the quality is something to think about. The utensils that were given to us had food residual so I gave them back to get new ones with their own food residual. :/ sigh... fine whatever, I wiped it off myself. Food came pretty quick, the waitress brought out my bacon on a plate way too small. The bacon strips were hanging over the sides of the plate so my food was just touching the table. I have seen these yellow waffle house signs everywhere. Recently, after a few beers with friends we stumbled in to this fine establishment. We came here looking for some drunk snacks and after hearing my amigos rave about it I knew I needed to come. It is very diner-esque and seems to pull in a mixed crowd of truckers, drunk college kids, and some shadier figures. I ordered a hash brown (melted cheese, grilled onions and tomatoes - DELISH), a grilled cheese sandwich, and a hot chocolate. I am obviously the queen of health after indulging in some drinks. The food came out really quick and was shockingly good, and even better after I saw that my bill was only six dollars. Our waiter/ server was awesome. He was friendly, chatty and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant was definitely clean as well. Not fine dining by any means, but some good greasy food at any time of day. Food here is good for Waffle House fare and the service is usually greet at this location however today it took 7 1/2 min to great us and take a drink order then another 8 min to bring drinks and take order. They are full but have never waited this long. The food did come out quickly though. 6 1/2 min after we ordered. The cooks here are crazy fast. It must be an off day. Ah Waffle House.... I have a lot of good memories here. My dad snuck me quarters when my mom wasn't looking so I could run and play Britney Spears on the jukebox (which would drive my mom nuts). My family still mentions how Polly (long retired now) the Waffle House waitress was the best waitress at any restaurant ever. Look the food is greasy and bad for you. It's highly likely you're gonna feel it for a couple of days. But when you take a bite of those hashbrowns (scattered, covered and chunked for me) it doesn't matter. Oh, one thing- I know its a Waffle House, but don't order the waffles. They are always either over done or under done. I know it doesn't make sense but trust me- order something else. read more

My waitress barely spoke to me, only communicating at the bare minimum as if it were a burden to take my order and serve me. Food came out with one item at a time. Oddly enough my waitress poured me two Cokes as if she didn't want to be bothered. Maybe she was having a bad day or sick I thought. However this was quickly dispelled as she chatted up a middle aged couple and another family in her section. Waffle was not crispy, barely done and super soft.
