The servers were nice and had a great attitude when it came to helping us and making us feel welcome. Everything was clean as well. The price is great & they were timely, too. However, my sunny side up eggs were a little too runny. Everything else was good. One of the workers also got upset with the workers and ruined the mood, but the other workers did their best to keep the mood light so shoutout to them! read more

I like Waffle House but I LOVE this location!! the servers and the entire staff are the best! from the moment you walk in the door, when you place your order, while waiting and get your food - they never stop making you feel special! And Mr. Tracy is always there to greet you with a big smile and sometimes a dance. the place is clean and the coffee is hot!! ohhhhhh and the hash browns will never ever disappoint you. tell Tracy hello!! this T-bone was just the right size for breakfast!! read more

Due to the fine folks @ DFW Hertz and screwing up my rental, my dinner options were limited @ 9pm. So I headed to the best place to get a freshly cooked meal. Food: AM or PM, my go to is the All-American. Cooked perfectly! Service: The gentleman working the counter was quick, funny and worked the room like a great showman. On our way to the airport and decided to grab breakfast first. We had seen this spot several times while we were exploring Dallas, so we decided to try it. It is a small spot and cashier told us we can have a seat anywhere. The menu is small and has few options on different pancakes. The food was quick and delicious. This location told me when I entered the diner that they were only doing to-go orders until 6am. This is the THIRD diner that has claimed to be 24 hours, but isn't. For a person who works night shift, this is INFURIATING. Managers beware--you're not operating your facilities as advertised. read more

Good. Not quite sure why it wasn't amazing. It had been literally years, maybe even over a decade since I'd had Waffle House and I had been craving it for some time. Let's get down to the nitty-gritty: Location: Great! It was just a few minutes away from where Mom and I were staying near DFW Airport. Easy to see from the road and easy to get to. Convenient to drop off our rental car when we were done and ready to head to the airport. Service: Very good. We sat and were greeted almost immediately. Order was taken quickly and drinks were brought to us within a few minutes. Bathrooms: Clean and well stocked. Food: Unfortunately, this is where the star is lost. It was good, maybe a four out of five, whereas normally, my Waffle House experience is always a five plus. Mom ordered a burger only and she finished more than usual, so I know they did a good job with that. I ordered a burger and hash browns. The hash browns seemed a little different - seemed like the potatoes weren't cut quite as thickly as from years ago. The burger was good, but not amazing like I remember. Maybe my tastes have changed. Either way, I WILL be back (like Arnie, in the Terminator). read more

Never been to a Waffle House before, and heard mixed reviews, but after having gone this morning I can say at least at this location, it is superb. The staff were super welcoming and friendly, and genuine. I decided to try their Bacon Egg and Cheese hashbrown bowl, and it was only $9.50. That on top of a cup of coffee, it hit the spot. It was so nourishing and I had a hard time actually finishing it all it was so fulfilling. I would highly recommend this location and I will be coming back. God bless! read more

This review is ONLY for the young lady who took my call when I dialed the wrong store on 10/15/19 @ 9:22pm. I presume she was the manager because the person who answered gave the phone to her when he realized I was pissed! I wish I had asked for her name. She was very understanding, politely asked my if I was sure I had called the right store, and before I hung up made sure that I knew that if I didn't get in touch with the site tonight (which I didn't) that I could call in the morning and the manager would be there. And if the manager had a scheduled day off, then the District Manager would be there. Kudos for handling an upset customer EXACTLY the way you should!! I have no idea what your store is like, but I would go there for this service anyway. Thank you for setting the bar for great customer service! Extremely fast service which I really enjoyed. Very simple menu which makes decision making easy. Courteous staff that seemed happy to work there. The only issue I had was that the place was freezing. It must have been 55 degrees in there. Everyone in our party was cold. Even the staff admitted they felt cold. The staff at the Saturday night evening shift (11 pm) is such a breath of fresh air. After a long trip, they were welcoming and very fun. Dami our server was so gracious and helpful. The entire staff was welcoming. The music was upbeat and the atmosphere was happy. Everyone working was in a great mood and very productive. If I lived here I would visit often. Waffle House is what it's supposed to be: fast, cheap, 24/7 food with a cup of coffee and a hearty dose of Americana. Until I turned 30 I don't think I ever experienced one before 1 am. Now it's a late Sunday breakfast stop with my kid. Either way, you can't go wrong with a triple order of hash browns scattered, smothered, covered, chunked, and diced. The staff at this particular Waffle House is super nice. They are friendly, even when my 5 yo is explaining his birthday guest list in full detail or asking for a third refill of OJ. They always make sure we are well looked after and full. On a related note: TIP YOUR WAFFLE HOUSE SERVER WELL. These people work insane hours, on their feet, usually super busy, and deal with a huge amount of bullshit. And somehow they still manage to be kind and friendly and care how you like your eggs. Your food probably cost less than a drive thru, there was more if it, and at full service. Tip the damn wait staff more than 20%. These people seriously deserve it. read more

Went into this Waffle House because it was close to the airport. When I got in there was just one mother costumer there. Nice for a Waffle House. It seemed like I got there between a shift change as there was a few employees sitting at the other end of the place. I ordered and the server brought me silverware that had food on it. WTF!!!??? Come on. I asked the server if he could get me clean silverware. The server looked at my fork and brought me a clean one. I hope at least. The knife that was there was clearly a used knife with egg still on the end. Well I will not be using that. The food came out nice and hot. Everything was great!! The only issue here is the cleanliness of the silverware and the rest of the place. I did not see anyone cleaning just sitting around. Maybe instead of relaxing and waiting for more customers they should concentrate on how to properly clean utensils and the rest of the place. 1 star for cleanliness. I would have gave more stars for the food but I was not sure anything was clean here. read more

Went there on a Sunday, and it was pretty empty. All seemed good until our food came out in sections, so while we waited for the rest of it, what we had was getting cold. The kitchen staff was busy fulfilling to-go orders that they ignored diners. At one point, we saw a couple get up and leave...we should have did the same. Terrible wait times. Appearance of the location was not clean, food in the floor, kitchen area looked a mess! Customer Service is horrible! No condiments provided ! The ketchup packs that were in the bag were disgusting and sticky and the utensils pack had hair in it! This place needs to be closed down! And your employees need a training on customer service. I wouldn't recommend anyone go here! It's a pandemic and your location is nasty and dirty! Unacceptable! read more

Bethany gave me great service. I got tbone with eggs at 6 am and man it was good. Ate the whole thing. Robert was cooking and Bianca was washing dishes while I sat at the bar and ate. The space is large, comfortable, and full of life, even on a Wednesday evening. There are cozy sofa corners if you want something a little more intimate, plus an outdoor area that's "outside"... but not too outside, which honestly feels like a win. Drinks were a highlight. My boulevardier was spot on, and then I shared a smoked Old Fashioned with my friend that was just... exquisite. Smooth, balanced, and a little dramatic in the best way. Food held its own. The chicken and waffles were delicious, the chopped chicken salad was fresh and satisfying, and my friend's Reuben got a lot of love from her side of the table. And then came dessert. We shared the Whiskey Cake with praline ice cream, and let's just say, it lives up to the name. Decadent, rich, and absolutely worth it. Service was really good. Attentive without hovering, and thoughtful in those small ways that stand out. At one point, our server split the Old Fashioned for us without us even asking. That kind of anticipation earns points. This is the kind of place you return to when you're back in town. Comfortable, reliable, and just indulgent enough to feel like a treat.

I politely asked her to replace it, and she acted like she did--but when I got home, I realized she never changed it. On top of that, the taste was disappointing. Everything tasted old, like it had been sitting there for over a week, with a strange aftertaste. I really wanted to support this place, but sadly this will be my first and last visit.

I enjoyed the avocado on top and the presentation was nice but the omelette wasn't that great. I did enjoy the hash browns though - they were nice and crispy.

Tupelo Honey trains its staff well, and I really enjoy coming here and interacting with the staff. 1 Star. Food - I always begin with the Biscuits with a Cause. These light, flakey biscuits are served warm with a crispy exterior and soft, flakey inside. But honestly, the biscuits act as a delivery mechanism for the butter and blue berry jam.
