My wife and I decided to stop in for lunch. This is probably only the third, maybe fourth, time we've ever ate in a Waffle House. Pretty standard fair usually. This was no different. It was very good overall and presented well! The restaurant itself was clean and tidy as well as the restrooms. We were surprised that they had a touch tone jukebox as well. I ordered their Texas cheesesteak bacon melt while my wife ordered their pecan waffle with chocolate chips. It came off the grill, hot and delicious! Sarah did a great job taking care of us! Great service! Coke products are always a plus. No hair nets but hair is pulled back. Kitchen area not real appetizing. Kitchen staff loud. Ordered hash brown bowl with eggs and ham-hash browns were soggy, good flavor, and enough for two. read more

New experience! Arrived at 5:30 for breakfast. Couldn't see inside because the windows were steamed up. Went inside to see if there was anyone working. Found the counter top full of dirty dishes as were the two larger booths. The other end of the restaurant was block off with chairs. Up till now I hadn't seen any of the staff. Then I saw a male staff member sleeping. Opening the doors and being inside the store hadn't awoken him. The wife said let's go, so we left. Food was okay but the waitress(JoJo) seemed to have an attitude. Thanked her plenty of times and she never said your welcome. Not enough big tables at this waffle house either . Only three tables that can seat a family of four or five. Said hello to our waitress and she didn't respond so I said howdy and then she responded. Waitresses seemed to be arguing with each other about a tip somebody left and whose it was. Probably will not eat at this Waffle House ever again. Bad vibes. read more

This is 5 star on a Waffle House scale. Staff are friendly, quick, and food was good. We went on a busy Sunday morning and the crowd was families, tourists, and the older "regulars" crowd. There was a short wait for a table but we were in/out and fed in about 30 minutes. Food was much better than other Waffle Houses in the area, and I think this will become our regular choice when we're wanting easy diner waffles. read more

So I went to this location (98 and blue angel) Saturday morning aroundb130am. I walked in and sat at the counter no one greeted me( which I don't care about) sat at the counter for a few minutes no one took my order, so I walked up to the register. Stood there for a few minutes the same thing no one took my order or see if I needed anything, I usually don't have a problem with this store. You can't beat this Waffle House (Hwy 98), the food is amazing but just as impressive is the preparation and delivery. Great care is given to preparing the food just as ordered (no slip ups). Then to get over the top, delivery is top shelf. The food is not just piled onto one plate (as many restaurants do) but rather care is given to each item ordered. Food is placed in separate containers and still hot when delivered. During this virus, I've ordered from several restaurants and no one even comes close to this Waffle House. Don't believe it, place your order and you'll be impressed too. read more

We visit this location several times on visits to my in-laws. We love waffle house and this one is the best by far. Morning servers are always awesome, there's one particular group of gals that is friendly and on the ball with everything. We love coming here on Christmas mornings when we're in town. And even though it's busy as heck we always get prompt, polite service. Love, love, love this WH! read more

This was my first dining experience at a Waffle House restaurant and I just loved it. Tried the waffles of course and got them with strawberries and pecans. I'd expected these to be toppings but instead they were added to the batter which was a nice surprise. They were delicious. Also had to try the hash browns because they are available with a number of added ingredients. I had the sauteeed tomatoes, ham, and mushrooms and it was fabulous. Also had a burger which was average. I would go back for the waffles and hash browns alone. Very reasonably priced and family friendly. read more

They're sort of busy but not like other Waffle Houses. Employees walking around like the hate each other, no eye contact because they're ignoring us. Sitting at the bar and took more than 7 mins for someone to acknowledge our presence. Boo. read more
