It's all about the value but they don't skimp on quality or portions. Highly recommend for breakfast - check out if you're looking for a greasy spoon that offers great comfort food breakfast options. I loved the corned beef and eggs.

This place had good reviews for food and customer service, and we love to visit smaller local restaurants. The food? Was pretty good! The egg portions of our foods were cooked beautifully, and the food itself did not take long to get to our table once ordered. The lost of stars was service. The lady took our drink order and saod she would be right back to take our order. We gor our orders togather quickly for her... but she basically never came back. I watched her seat, serve drinks, take orders and serve food for the table diagonally behind us. She had time to go cut up lemons for prep, sit another party and get them drinks. At this point i just stared long enough where I could read lips from the other waitress asking if she wanted her to come take our order. I cannot say there was any pleasantries (my husband desribed as kind of rude). We have been to several restaurants in this area and have been treated with such pleasantries and chit chats about the area.. servixe prompt andexcellent... but here... not so much. There is nothing that would send me this way again unfortunately, even id the eggs were well done.

Seafood Platter. Fish, hushpuppies & house made tarter were very good! :)'

This is a very very old school diner. A complete brekkie/lunch only dive joint. They only serve till 2pm. We ordered some lunch to go & they packed our hot fried foods with the wet foods. It basically ruined everything. Which was sad because the Fried fish, hushpuppies & house made tarter was very good. Also Hubby's burger was way way over cooked into a hockey puck. All the ketchup in the universe couldn't save that burger. Anyhoo, The coleslaw, Fried fish & hushpuppies were fantastic. So would like to try the fish platter next & ask for any wet sides to be packaged separately. Great place for Cheap Eats. Will Return to Update.

Really enjoyed this old school joint! It has a charm about it, enhanced by quite a collection of customer (???) portraits adorning the walls. Breakfast was very good. Biscuits and sausage grave were tasty (though a little light on the sausage); the scrambled eggs and hash browns perfectly done. My wife got pancakes which meant I got a taste. Pretty good. Service was prompt and friendly, and the clientele appeared to be mostly regulars. Definitely worth the stop for morning chow, Cheers! RS

I had their breakfast sampler plate and it was really good. The prices are fair compared to other places. The service was friendly. I would describe the ambiance like a Waffle House but with a home-like feel to it.

This is a good local's spot. If you go on the weekend, prepare to wait, it is small, crowded but nice. We waited 30 minutes just to place our order and then almost 30 minutes for the food, but they do not make you feel rushed once you have your food. Food is good for the price. Spouse had the Napoleon with a Puff pastry, not exactly what he was expecting but tasted good. I had the crab cakes Benedict and it was really good even though the Bernese saice was broken. I swapped out the English muffin for a Southern biscuit. Couldn't help myself, being born in the South and all. Sweet tea was a little weak for me, I like mine to steep for like and hour or two so it grows hair on one's chest and keeps one awake for at least 36 hours.

Very good food, except the hash browns. They've almost always served burnt. Hadn't always been that way. Sad

Those are not filling appetizers so I had an antree which was the Pasta and Mushrooms. The entree was the least expensive entree but was still excellent. I sat at the bar because I was by myself. I was hoping for some engagement with fellow people at the bar but it did not happen. What was disappointing was that as a backup, I had hoped for engagement with the bartenders. They were not busy as it was 5 pm. Instead they engaged with each other. They were having a blast yoking and joking and talking about movies. I would have liked to have been a part of it. The service was timely. Other people brought out my 3 servings. I did not feel compelled to give the bartenders anything more than just above 10% because I left feeling a bit angry. Usually when I am by myself and I sit at the bar, I get good attention. The bartenders can make a drink and that is about it.

She took the time to go over all the specials and let us know that everything is made in house since it's a scratch kitchen, which was a nice touch. We arrived right when they opened, and the restaurant filled up fast, so it's definitely a popular spot. We ordered the George Fries, and they were absolutely loaded! The portion was huge and could easily feed two people as an appetizer. For my entrée, I had the Truffle Chicken Alfredo, and it was delicious. The noodles were thick, chewy, and cooked perfectly, and the sauce was rich without being too heavy. It also happened to be my boyfriend's and my anniversary, and the staff surprised us with a complimentary chocolate cake, which was such a thoughtful gesture. We were so full that we had to wait until we got home to enjoy it! Overall, the food, service, and hospitality were all amazing. Definitely a 10/10 experience, and we'll be back the next time we're in town!

While I initially rated the customer service a 7/10, it became clear that the professionalism of the establishment was lacking. When our food arrived, I was shocked to find hair in both my wife's dish and one of my friend's meals, which made for a very unpleasant dining experience. We promptly informed our server, who communicated our concerns to the manager, Rita. However, we found ourselves waiting longer than expected for her to address the issue. Ultimately, we had to seek her out ourselves, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. Rita offered to either remake our meals or remove them from the bill, but let's be clear--no one is inclined to pay or leave a tip for food they cannot eat. I also want to address Ron's response to our concerns. Rather than displaying empathy, it felt more like a defensive reaction as he was upset we did not leave a review for food we didn't pay for. The lack of professionalism in his response only added to our disappointment. It's crucial for management to handle such issues with care and urgency to ensure a positive dining experience. I hope the team at Another Broken Egg can learn from this feedback and improve their service for future guests.

Additionally, the live music on the covered patio was a great touch. Loved how the vibes here were more than just another touristy seafood spot on the beach. Now for the food- everything was absolutely incredible. They print their menus daily to ensure it's up to date with their fresh catches. We started with the crab claws and BBQ oysters, which were both so flavorful and perfect appetizer. The garlic butter from the crab claws was so good I could have drank it straight from the dish. For mains: The special they had when we went last Friday was tilefish with grits, brussel sprouts, and fried shrimp and it was a must (2/6 at our table got this). Another big hit was the grouper piccata- this is another must get, and what the local in our party gets everytime she comes. The whipped potatoes are just delicious. Other dishes we got were the filet mignon and honey wasabi yellowfin tuna. You truly can't go wrong with anything on the menu! In the words of our server.. "chef could prepare a shoe and I'd eat it!" To finish the night, we had the key lime pie & the signature praline basket (with a brownie). Both desserts were, you guessed it, amazing. The key lime pie enthusiast at our table said it was the best he's ever had. The Grand Marlin will be seeing me again next time I'm in town!!
