No stars!!! On the last three occasions that I've visited in the last couple of months (from Jan 2021 thru current), I was unable to place an order.... Verbally told no, w/o explanation. I had to ask questions/ inquire further on my own to get info about why. Today, I've arrived early at 3:15 am to place an order. The last two times, I arrived at 3:45 am/ 4:00 am. They said, They were not taking anymore orders. It's a shift change issue, apparently. This time, the little heifer with the hoodie on/ pulled over her head (very unprofessional) , had a little attitude with me. I asked when I could come back bc I'm already here and came early today on purpose . They all replied in about an hour. As a paying customer, about an hour is too broad. Your shift change should not affect business. Then, they took the order of the guy in front of me bc he paid one of them an extra $20 off the books. So I was refused, even though we showed up at the same time. The guy told me he paid extra when I asked why they took his order and not mine. I'm Livid bc their making up their own rules whenever it suits their needs. Then they have the audacity to accept extra money for a service they should already be providing. Rudeness is not acceptable. Under the table Bribery is heinous!!! Update, it's 3:54 am and this chick is outside play fighting in the parking lot with some guy. Then, she goes back in with no ... I guess u have time for things like that when u ain't doing sh*t to begin with. It's not like ur taking orders or cooking! Nope, just chillin'! It's not about the food, it's about the rudeness and lack of professionalism. Uggggggh!

Worst customer service EVER!!! My food was burnt. When I showed the manager she had the worst attitude. First she tried to deny the food was burnt. Then she said whoever heated it up the chili did it wrong and it would take 45 min on some more chili. The steak was burnt! Then she goes on to say that I don't have to pay for, go up the street to another Waffle House. Just rude, rude, rude!!! And she did this in front of her staff and other customers. Absolutely ridiculous and embarrassing!!!

Grilled chicken and waffle

Really good food. Great service. It was fun to watch the interaction of the staff with returning customers and each other. The grilled chicken is amazing and the waffles are really good.

Food was good and fast and my kids had a blast . The lady gave me extra plates and did her best to make enough room on the table as she could . Thanks so much will be returning

I hadn't been in a couple of years but decided to go back because of the amazing food that I had previously experienced as a consistent customer over the years. Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed when I ordered my usual and the food tastes nothing like the delicious food that I was used to experiencing at this location. The lack of flavor and quality that I had been used to experiencing was completely gone. The food tastes like it comes right out of the can onto the to-go containers. The turkey wings taste like they had no seasoning or flavor but as if they emptied out a can of cream of mushroom on top of the turkey wings. I could not finish the meal because it was nothing like remembered. Alongside the wasting of money and time that was taken to drive to this location, it was an overall disappointment. I used to recommend this location to friends who would come in town for some of the best soul food in Atlanta, but I honestly wouldn't be able to do that now because of the lack thereof. I'm not sure if they change cooks or what, but I'm highly disappointed. Pretty much they have a table blocking the door and a couple of chairs sitting outside of the establishment , or you have to wait in your car for your food. Unfortunately, Annie Laura's kitchen has gone down horribly. As a customer from the beginning before they moved to the second location.. I wouldn't recommend them anymore to anyone.

There seems to be plenty of parking on the street as well as the lot behind the building. It was around noon when I arrived and they were serving their brunch menu. I had the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit that came with eggs and a side of grits. The biscuit was large, soft, and toasted and the fried chicken on top crisp and seasoned well. It was sweet from the honey. The eggs (I had them scrambled) were fine, but nothing remarkable. The grits were quite spicy for my taste, but I'm a wimp from the Midwest so they were probably great. I enjoyed everything. I would have liked an unsweetened iced tea, but only sweet tea was available. I had a fountain soft drink instead of. The restaurant was light and airy. The furniture was a bit worn and the dishes were plain white plastic but on the whole it was a lovely place. My server was pleasant and attentive.

Finally, made it to this restaurant. I would be back…read more Parking, plenty. This is rare that a brunch spot has so much parking. There is a huge open parking lot on W. Mill across the street. There is also street parking. Wait to be seated. Best to have a reservation during peak hours. Weekend brunch and evenings I imagine to be busy. QR code menu. NOTE if you go during brunch and you get a cocktail from the menu you won't see the prices for brunch. That is part of the reason for the low rating. Even though the drink menu says the days and hours for those prices, you have to ask for the after those hours. The menu has your typical southern brunch flare with a twist. The drink menu is good. I ordered the impossible burger slider, it doesn't come with anything. Just two sliders. I ordered the potatoes. Even though the sliders were decent. It was a little salty. Presentation was good. Watermelon savage. I also tried the scrambled eggs - way too salty. It was inedible. My brunch partner didn't like the grits or chicken biscuit that it came with. Service was fine. Decor and atmosphere was nice. Overall, it was decent. It seems like a nice place to grab drinks and catch a vibe or be the vibe. Gratuity is included. Overall, decent spot. Oh and there is outdoor seating that includes a stage.

Philly Me Up Cheesesteaks... listen... this place surprised me in the BEST way…read more From the outside, you'd think you're just pulling up for a quick bite... real chill, nothing too fancy. But baby when you walk in?? It's a whole cheesesteak lounge. Hookah, drinks, music, DJ... a whole vibe. I was like oh okayyy y'all doing something in here! The ambiance is EVERYTHING. And they're expanding with a patio, so it's only going up from here. Now let's get into the food... because the cheesesteak?? Hands down the BEST in the city. I said what I said. The eggroll appetizers were hitting, the drinks were GOOD, and my first visit? 5 stars immediately. And let me tell you... it might be new but it's not staying quiet. I've been back several times and it's been PACKED. They've got bottle service if you're trying to turn up with your girls, and Pretty Girl Tuesdays?? Yeah... we had a TIME. I love it so much one of my friends ended up working there, and I'm definitely going to keep supporting her and the owners. Big shoutout to them coming from Philly and bringing this to the city... they did that. Now... because I actually rock with them, I'm gonna be real. They need to tighten up on consistency. My first time was flawless, but the visits after haven't always matched that same energy. Still good enough to keep me coming back, but I need that same experience every time. Customer service is where the biggest opportunity is. I need my servers checking in, staying attentive, and making sure everything flows right. And please don't bring my food out in pieces. I don't want fries now, cheesesteak later, appetizer somewhere in between... that's a pet peeve. But overall? I LOVE this place. The vibe, the food, the energy... it's there. Just tighten it up a little and it's going to be unstoppable.

The space itself is actually a decent size--medium to large with enough seating to where you aren't fighting for real estate against the afternoon rush. It has a good flow to it, which I appreciated. I decided to deviate from the standard soul food lanes and went with the Caribbean Jerk Alfredo Combo, which comes with chicken and shrimp, plus some garlic bread on the side. Now, let's be clear: this is a soul food establishment, not a Caribbean kitchen, and that distinction was definitely present in the flavor profile. Everything was pretty tasty and the portions were solid, but it wasn't the best Jerk I've ever encountered. The sauce had some life to it, but if you're looking for that authentic island heat that makes you see colors, this isn't that. It's a soulful take on a fusion dish, and it does the job well enough for a mid-week craving. Overall, the vibes were straight and the food was good. It's a reliable spot to keep in the rotation when you want a heavy plate and want to keep your dollars in the community. I'll probably stick to the more traditional staples next time I slide through, but I walked out satisfied.
