Babe and I had a spontaneous date at the Riverdale location. We were seated immediately in the front by the door. Our waitress was cool and took our order about 10 minutes after we were seated. We ordered lemon pepper, cesar salad wrap, salmon with a side of mashpotatoes, broccoli, stuffed chicken breast with macaroni, and spinach. Sadly, I never received the Ceasar wrap. My waitress forgot, and I didn't feel like reminding her after the entrées arrived. What's worse than that? I'll tell ya, we didn't enjoy the flavors. The mashpotatoes were missing season and salt. The broccoli and spinach were acidic. It looked like they just tossed the garlic in without actually cooking with them to give the veggies flavor. It was bland and disappointing. The mac & cheese had WAAAAY too many flavors. It seems like they took all the flavors from the veggies and added them to the mac. It was too much going on, and it was wet. The positive is that we did enjoy the proteins. My chicken was juicy, and the cheese sauce really gave it a good flavor. The rub on the salmon was decent, but they overcooked his salmon. The one thing we did enjoy was those lemon pepper chicken wings. They did get that dish correct. Unfortunately, we had too many issues with our dishes. I usually go to the one on Edgewood after work but I live on the southside and wanted to give this location a try. I went on a Wednesday afternoon around 1230,it was kinda empty which was expected as folks are at work. I was seated at the bar and had the most amazing mocktail as I do not drink and ordered shrimp tacos which were delicious!!! Really juicy shrimp and not any small baby shrimp either. Very good experience for my first visit at this location. Parking is free and plentiful. The music Was , R&B from the 90s and 2000s. I'll be back for date night with Bae. Placed an uber eats order from home approximately 11am waited 30 minutes and drove 15min to restaurant. Sat at bar and asked two servers for my order. Both servers stated it wasn't ready yet. The atmosphere was good. I have eaten at the Riverdale location twice and the douglasville location ones. I was disappointed with the lobster tail I eat last it may have been a different chef. Other than that the lobster tail has always been on point. Hopefully it was that day only. The rice was hard but the fries were on point. I loved the waitress checked on us. The food last time was great I had the lamb spinach and potatoes and it was in a really good glaze so good I told the server I already know what I wanted because it was so good last time. This time however it seemed doused in Italian dressing the spinach was over powered by tons of minced garlic just wasn't good at all. I ate the lamb but every bite I made sure to eat the potatoes with them to help mask the Italian dressing taste. Drinks were pretty good I tried a few of their specialty cocktails I really enjoyed the Sunset Boulevard, Rodeo Drive, Marina Del Rey, and The 405. I would not recommend Baldwin Hills but I'm sure someone likes it for it to be a signature cocktail. Overall this is a real chill spot. Similar club restaurant ambiance just on the Southside away from the midtown craziness. It was a very laid back vibe and has all of the amenities one could expect from an Atlanta sports bar. The food was even better! We went during brunch, We had a large party so I pretty much ate some of what everybody had, ain't no shame in my game. You can get a side a shrimp for $15 and when I tell you only 6 pieces of shrimp came on the plate but I ordered it TWICE that's how good they were! and I'm cheap cheap so that was very out of character for me! The shrimp and grits were delicious, the salmon was heaven sent, but the true star of that evening was the French toast!!!!
