They greeted me with the best Good Morning ever just now!! Nothing like a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with a side of good vibes. I love genuine southern hospitality. It's clean in here and everyone is working hard.

Came after the lounge. Food smelled Delish. I didn't eat - eating clean. No liquor or fast food for 90 days but clearly my folks are getting down. Kendra is always amazing. I love how she changes her dread color up every time I see her. She's got a good personality. Friends laughed at my determination to yelp at 4am but I had to - I always forget to yelp this location. Will definitely go back. We usually go after we are headed home lol

This location makes the best waffles hands down! They are big fluffy and lovely! I had hash browns and egg whites. I had the entire store to myself! Lol. Staff was nice so I will be back!

Chop steak, mashed potatoes and macaroni all was terrible. I haven't eaten here in years and will never eat here again.

While waiting, I headed to the bar and ordered the holiday drink, the Grinch, which was super delicious. The bartender was extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable about the drink menu. I also had the chance to try an array of appetizers, and every single one was just as delicious--honestly, they made me even more excited to try my main course. I ordered the country fried steak, and it was fantastic--extra crispy on the outside, super moist on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. My sides were the lemon potato wedges, cooked just right (not soggy at all) with a lemon flavor that gave them an extra kick. For dessert, I had the coconut cake, and it's truly one of the best coconut cakes I've ever had. As you can probably tell from the picture, I almost finished it before remembering to snap a photo. Overall, a great experience. I will definitely be back and will be recommending this place to others.

There is no ketchup or salt at the table. $15 per burger for indifferent slabs o meat. It's a cold, fake, unpleasant place to eat. 5 teevees all on to different sports channels BUT NO ONE IS WATCHING. And not all people like sports 24/7. It's in an "upscale" mall which is dying, many closed stores. Is Jeffrey Epstein's associate's store in this mall, or the equally ugly mirror mall across Webb Gin? Nothing there or in any of the stores for us, anyway. This was this diner's second chance with us. They have beef liver on the menu - it comes out like shoe leather. We will not go back.

The World's Best BLT in a Lonely Gas Station Corner…read more Tucked into the dim corner of a run-down gas station off Highway 14 is The Griddle Stop, a place so unassuming you'd drive past it a hundred times without a second thought. Dusty windows, flickering neon, and a gas pump that hasn't worked since the Clinton administration. But behind a creaky door and a scratched-up counter sits the holy grail of sandwiches: the world's best BLT. Served on thick, toasted sourdough that crackles just right under your bite, the bacon comes in unapologetically fat slabs -- smoky, crisp, and curled like it has a story to tell. The lettuce? Iceberg, shredded fresh and cold like it was pulled straight from a mountain stream. The tomatoes are impossibly red, juicy, and somehow always in season, kissed with just enough salt to make your lips tingle. And the mayo -- homemade, garlicky, and spread edge to edge -- binds the whole miracle together. There's no music playing, no Instagram signage, and the cook, a retired Marine named Earl, only grunts when you compliment his food. But when that sandwich hits your table (a wobbly Formica top near the vending machine), the world slows down. You forget you're alone. You forget the gas station smell. You forget everything but the next bite. Five stars. No frills. No fuss. Just the kind of meal that makes you question every fancy sandwich you've ever overpaid for. Earl doesn't serve happiness, but he'll sure as hell give you the sandwich that feels like it.

Excellent Food, Excellent Service, Always! You won't be disappointed. The breakfast burrito is a…read morepersonal favorite of mine!

After 30 minutes I checked on where we were and one girl said another 15 minutes but then the young woman that said 30 minutes grabbed 2 menus and said follow me. We ended up at a 2 person table beside 2 empty booths and we did not even ask to change bc our favorite server had us! She's so good that she's worth the wait! I'm so sorry I can't remember her name! Of course we ordered coffee because theirs is so delicious we don't mind paying $3.99 for it! Normally, we always get water with lemon as our drinks but not here! We both decided to try something different then our usual orders. My friend had the chimmichurri steak hash and he ate every thing but a couple of potatoes, said it was very good and was happy he tried it. I chose the pick 2 half sandwich Roast beef and havarti with a creamy horseradish sauce and tomato basil soup. Both were excellent! The ambiance here is minimal but super clean including the restrooms. People definitely come for the food. We did miss the Belgium waffle we usually share but we decided we were too full to even attempt one ! No worries my birthday is in a couple of weeks and they always send a bogo happy birthday coupon if you are on their vip list, which of course, I am.... so there is a Belgium waffle in my future! Thank you First Watch for consistently being one of our favorite places!

The place was not quite full but quickly filled up after our arrival. Our server Izayah was very attentive and had a great disposition. We had the traditional breakfast with bacon, eggs, toast and potatoes for $13.29; trifecta with a Belgian waffle, eggs and sausage for $13.49 and strawberry tres leches French toast from the seasonal menu for $13.49. They were all great especially the waffle (although the strawberries were not the best quality). My husband ordered scrambled eggs and they gave him eggs over easy. I ordered a side of ham and I was over halfway done with the French toast before it came out. Still always a good choice

Beignets. That is the only reason this isn't 1 star…read more If I'm being fair, the rest of my party enjoyed their food. So maybe it's just me. But my meal was bad. Very bad. I ordered jambalaya with the shrimp and crab gumbo as a side. Let's start with the gumbo-first, it was a gumbo with shrimp and cold shredded crab meat sprinkled on top. That's a first for me-gumbo is a hot spicy soup; cold crab meat on top ruins it. Why wouldn't you mix the meat in with the soup? If it's me, and this is how you make authentic gumbo, then it's me. But I've never had it like this and wouldn't want it like this again. Second, the crackers. Perhaps you should check the expiration date on your box of saltines, because serving your guests with saltines that are as fresh as a piece of cardboard sitting in the sun for a year is maybe not a great addition to the soup. Again, maybe it's me. Maybe you like cutting up your amazon boxes and dipping the pieces in your soup. If so, more power to ya-it's our differences that make us interesting. And on to the jambalaya. I have had jambalaya in New Orleans, and creole restaurants throughout the country. I have made my own. My jambalaya experiences have taught me this-if you want to have bad jambalaya, this is where you have it. The chicken was so dry (how dry was it?), it was as if it had been sitting in the desert for a month. The sausage and shrimp were moderately better, but only just. The rice was cooked pretty well, but given the tastelessness of everything else, there were no flavors for the rice to absorb. I loaded it with hot sauce and even still, barely ate any of it. It was bad. As mentioned at the top, the beignets saved this meal. 6 of us got 3 orders and they were good. Not cafe du monde (New Orleans) or Huey's (Savannah) good, but a respectable beignets with lots of sugar. I did enjoy these immensely. Our server was good. Friendly, attentive. But service alone can't save a poor food experience. Everyone else was happier. Po boys were apparently good as was my lady's salmon with a lime cilantro glaze. Kids seem to have enjoyed their meals. But I am not sure I could have been more unhappy with mine.
