Went here with my bestie's church group for a combined birthday lunch celebration. I hadn't been to a Golden Corral is some years so my expectations were non-existent. I'm glad I had no expectations but if I had, mine would've been surpassed. 1) The food selection for the price is unreal. 2) Almost everything tasted so good with a few exceptions of course. 3) Last but not least we had a server named Angel and she's glorious. She doesn't serve your food but does service your table and will get you drinks/silverware if/as needed. Angel was great, she's so humble, hardworking and a true joy to have taking care of you and your people. I hope I get her section again next time. I look forward to my next GC visit because I've definitely got more stuff to try read more

The remodel was nice and the overall restaurant looked clean. The breakfast had many options and the refills on trays were fast. The self serve orange juice station was great and efficient. The restaurant at 10am on was extremely crowded and the layout of the restaurant the tables are too close. The restaurant seemed stuffy and little warm and the food is sub par for the high prices. The pot roast seemed canned and nothing seems cooked fresh but steaks, chicken on grill and the omelettes. The only time to eat decent food is at there breakfast. Rate this place a 3/10 read more

Service has always been great. They need to do a better job cleaning the plates and silverware. The food is okay not great but not terrible. I don't like that parents allow their children to serve themselves the dessert section is always a mess because of it. I also think they need to remodel and remove that nasty carpet. read more

I come here frequently. Tonight, I came for the AYCE Prime Rib. John, on the grill, recognized me, spoke to me, and asked if I would be eating a steak tonight. I told him that I would come by and get one in a minute. About 5 minutes of so later, John showed up at my table with a perfectly cooked steak and broccoli for presentation. I am always so impressed with John, his kindness and professionalism makes it clear that he truly enjoys what he does. I generally don't go to Golden Corral but my godson loves this place. I hadn't seen him in a while so I offered to go to lunch. The service was great. Omar really worked hard to make sure we had all we needed. I didn't eat but he and my son did. Bill was only $17 and that was with drinks. They got the pizza, burger, chicken, much more and enjoyed everything. I purposely didn't look around for the cleanliness of the restaurant itself like walls etc. but they did a good job of keeping food off the floors and the food stations. As senior citizens, we can eat at the Fried Tomato for $11, but now the price at the Golden Corral is $ 16 a piece. Totally unacceptable. Still one of those places where even though it a buffet, I feel stuffed after a plate and a half of food. Met my cousin here for lunch...and spent $11 on lunch. I could have went to Subway and got the $3.99 special, and been just as stuffed but my cousin...no matter where/when we go out to eat...her only requirement is...I want a lot of food! The food was fresh, and hot. I even got to eat chicken livers and I almost never have an opportunity to eat those unless I'm at GC. They no longer give you your plates and silverware at the cashier stand...u now pick these items up as you enter the buffet line. There were some food additions, and subtractions since Iast visted. We didnt go on a all u can eat steak day, but I did enjoy hot fresh fried fish, and their dirty rice was better than usual. They even came out with two batches of hot rolls while we were there. The watiress we had was busy, but she was on point in making sure our tea glasses were filled constantly. Seems as if people let their small children serve themselves on the buffet line now, so I did get hung up once or twice behind some little kid, that didnt understand the concept of keep the line moving sonny! I usually don't do Buffets, but today was an exception because my kickball team wanted to have an after game outing after leaving the park. Well let me just say that I'm never stepping foot inside of a Golden Corral again! We get in line after walking in, not too crowded for a Sunday evening, I get my tray and proceed to ask the young lady at the register if I could get a kids meal and show her my bariatric card, she tells me that they only give senior discounts for bariatric patients.... rings me up and my receipt says 17.00!!! I can only eat a handful of damn food!! So I have to pay 17.00?! At this point I'm pissed! I get to our table which wasn't cleaned, go to get my food and it's just a complete mess! I got a spoon full of corn, a spoon full of teriyaki meat, one chicken wing, two zucchini slices, and a skewer of shrimp. I get back to my table and I proceed to eat one of my shrimp skewers ...... not cooked all the way. I'm really pissed now! I eat a little of everything but the rest of that shrimp and I leave! The food is always fresh and delicious, because it is always busy! I love their chicken livers, which are crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside! From the windows , to the carpet , to the counters , to the decor , maybe even the uniforms on employees needed a good scrub ! I'm not exaggerating , I wish I was .... but because this place wasn't clean , it didn't feel clean . Eating in dirt is never okay . Most of the food wasn't hot they probably could argue that they had put it out and I got to it too late . However that shouldn't be the case each time I get a plate . Out of all the Golden Corrals I have visited, this is by far the best!!!! The food is always cooked great and well seasoned! Most of the waitresses are helping and very friendly. It has been a couple times we have came that some of the waitresses looked like they didn't want to be there but for the most part we never have any problems and always leave well satisfied and well fed. read more

This is the best Golden Corral in the east metro area. Staff is always friendly and attentive; it's clean; it's in a nice area. Food quality is high. No issues with the clientele, and frankly that is an issue at some Golden Corrals. One vignette to share: I once saw our waitress washing her hands at the server's station (where the drinks and coffee machine are, etc.). In my entire life, that's the only time I ever remember seeing a server wash their hands. I also saw her check her phone once, and she had it in a ziploc bag. Cleanliness is no joke here, y'all. The best part is they have breakfast--with steak--on Fridays, and few Golden Corral outlets have Friday breakfast. This place is a 30-minute drive away for me and it's worth it. read more
