I do love me some Waffle House. This particular Waffle House was slammed the day I went. I purchased the tried and true Hashbrown Bowl. It was yummy. Pro-tip: - Get the Sausage and Egg Hashbrown Bowl. Load it up like you would for your hashbrowns. I got mine all the way except chili. It was topped with their Sausage Gravy. Our server was friendly however when she came back with her food, she said the cook mixed up the order and my friend got my eggs and I got his but didn't even bother to swap them, so we had to do it, which was a mess....as she informed us, she was leaving for the day and someone else would be taking over. So our new server didn't even come back once and ask if everything was OK, therefore, we sat there without anything to drink as refills were not offered. The flies were so thick and landing all over us. I had to grab one of their towels laying close by to swap the flies away. Bathroom was extremely filthy dirty as well. In a nutshell, the orders were incorrect, zero refills, dirty fly infested restaurant, lack of service, therefore I cannot recommend this location. read more

Where do I begin... almost every table was dirty. The floor looked like it had not been mopped or swept in weeks. The air conditioner unit was leaking water all over the floor. No attempts to mop or put up a Wet Floor sign were made. I suspect this was because there were only 2 people working. One waiter and one cook. The waiter was waiting tables, bussing and acting as cashier. The scrambled eggs were not scrambled but broken on the grill and chopped up. Nothing worse than egg whites not mixed with the yolks. Half my hash browns were nice and toasty. The other half was not even cooked. The well done waffle I requested was still doughy in the middle. It was glaringly apparent that the reason for the lame food, uncleanliness and water all over the floor: new management is obviously needed at this location. Only two people working. I watched the cook make our waffles. They were on the counter as everything was cooked. We received then finished our eggs, bacon, and hash browns. We received cold limp waffles. The same ones I saw on the counter. One had chocolate chips we didn't order. I grandson said he would try it. He didn't like it. The server never came back. Waffle House is what it is, except when it's not. All my family wanted was a waffle and some bacon at about 230 am on our way to the airport. When you walk in to a place called waffle house and expect gourmet food than it is your fault. It is a waffle house and you are going to get some good old fashioned food that filled the stomachs of people who worked really very hard to build this country. I like these kind of places that cater to a specific population who enjoy unhealthy food for what it is, delicious and high fat content diet. Sometimes I feel like I have been looking too much in to the content of food and stopped enjoying it for what it is. Waffle house serves everything with extra fat, extra calories and extra bacon if you want. That is what some people want and they enjoy it. Worst waffle house I've ever been to. 3 kids working behind the counter, ignoring customers, and singing off-key at the top of their lungs. One girl pulled raw chicken out of the fridge with a gloved hand and then used the same hand to grab the seasoning jar. After our food was made, the 3 behind the counter began cleaning up, which would make sense until they couldn't get the gunk off the floor. 1 guy took the faucet sprayer and hosed the floor down while the girl scrubbed with a broom. When that didnt work, he brought out a garden hose from the back, sprayed the floor, and then poured dish soap on the floor. While he was spraying, the girl was scrubbing with a broom, and the 3rd worker just stood around on her phone singing to herself. We actually stayed longer just to see if they'd slip and fall on the mess. We went to pay and the guy asked if I needed a box. Out of sheer morbid curiosity, I said yes, hoping he'd ask the girl with dry hands to get it. Instead, he wiped his hands on his dirty apron and grabbed a box and lid for me. Had to wipe them off before I even put the food in. Ended up throwing the food away when we got home. Gross! read more

It took everything in me not to puke. If I hadn't seen him change his gloves before making my food I probably would have.
