Came two days in a row last weekend (not intentionally) as it was near where I was staying. I haven't been to a WH in a few years and I'm not sure if it's just this location but it's just wasn't the same. On the first day I ordered the hashbrowns with onions and diced tomato, scrambled eggs and a biscuit. The hashbrowns were not crispy enough and they were very cheap with the tomatoes. It seems like it was only one scrambled egg instead of two. On the second day I also got the hashbrowns with onions, cheese and mushrooms, two eggs over easy and a biscuit. The hashbrowns still weren't crispy but everything else was cooked just right. My server was so kind I'm sorry I didn't get his name but he was a young gentleman who seemed to just start working there. read more

I will start with I hate how the business is not the same. They have 6 - 8 people working during the day and then closes the doors at 3pm for delivery and pick up only. Plus with pick up only they charge you an extra fee plus taxes and the price of your food. Taxes are not included in prices. The food is mediocre, definitely below the standards I am use too. The Service for this company has gone down the drain. I had family in town that don't have a waffle house where they are at and we couldn't enjoy sitting in and dining because all of them are closed at night now. So it takes away from the freshness and hotness of the food. The charge you for a small thing of Simply Orange juice instead of the regular or they use to serve. If you want pecan, chocolate chips or peanut butter waffles you have to ask for them to spread the stuff all around your waffle because they will just put them in the middle and don't care. She has a terrible attitude & even talks to the other workers crazy.. not a good look on that establishment. You'd think with her bad attitude she'll get the order right. Well cooked bacon egg and cheese sandwich on Texas toast. Staff was friendly and nice. I was satisfied.

I should preface this review by saying that we had extremely low expectations for this Waffle House. We read the reviews before coming and were kinda scared. You can imagine how our fears were infinitely multiplied when we pulled up at 2 am to our first WH and were the only ones there-- and one of the employees was sleeping out front. Contrary to what said reviews claimed, our waitress (Neka) was very nice and attentive. She refilled our waters, checked up on us (the chef did too!), and brought out our waffles promptly. She and the chef accommodated to our large party with no questions asked. Even when business picked up, we were cared for like we were still the only ones there. Also unlike the reviews had convinced us, the food was delicious. Served quickly, served kindly, served the way breakfast ought to be served. They even offered to let us have waffles as a substitute for a bun on a cheeseburger. As a restaurant employee I would never even imagine allowing a customer to mess with the menu like that. In sum, skip Denny's, skip IHOP, and lower your expectations a little bit. It's a Waffle House for crying out loud. One I will gladly be returning to. read more

All we have is IHOP. My first time in Georgia I was eager eat at a waffle house with the late night after hours experience but we had to order our food to go. The lady who took our order was a pleasant peach and patient too when given her our ours with all my questions and food substitutions. I ordered the All-Star Special but without the grits and got a hash brown instead. The food was overall good. The waffles were soft. While I eat here a lot, I do have some quibbles. 3 stars isn't a bad thing as it mainly leaves room for improvement. Most of the time when I go there, my wife and I will split one of the 'melts and have our hashbrowns scattered in some sort of fashion. First off, I'll do the good part. The food is excellent. Then again, that's what you expect from a Waffle House. Our sandwiches that we get are quite good and the hashbrowns are always gone when we are done. Plus I really enjoy the people who work there. They always greet us when we arrive and they interact with us while we are there. The not so good is the service. It isn't particularly slow, but it is confused. I have had things forgotten or mixed up a lot. Rather than get frustrated, I just have them fix it (and they do it nicely). Overall, it is comfort food with a smile. If you are looking for precision service, then look elsewhere. read more

Tonight I Called to place a to go order and no one answer which is typical because they're usually busy. I call a third time, a woman answers the phone and is having a casual conversation with someone else in the background. Then chooses to say "Waffle House." She sounds like she's on her last leg, very dry. When I'm done with ordering and I say thank you, she says "uh huh" and hangs up. I feel that was very rude. Oh.... and they had no reason not to answer the phone the first 2 times because when I pulled up, they literally have one patron and I STILL tipped. read more

We walked in to a packed Waffle House at midnight, and on the Waffle House jukebox JT informed me that while I ate, he would be 'bringing sexy back." There was no turning back. God I love this place. First we ordered: the boy had coffee, a philly cheesesteak melt, chili with cheese and hashbrowns smothered and diced. I had a diet coke with a philly cheesteak melt and hashbrowns covered. Then we hit the jukebox and played: Johnny Cash, Usher, Marvin Gaye, Jan and Dean, Barry White, Al Green, Death Cab for Cutie, Gnarls Barkley, John Cougar Mellancamp and Gretchen Wilson. We dug into our food and finished it all. In a fit of madness I ordered a double order of hashbrowns all the way, and in a guilty and increasingly painful silence, we ate them all as well. It was, as all our meals at Waffle House are, delightful in every way. We are such fans that I have written the corporate headquarters extolling the virtues of their organization, and gone so far as to inquire about franchising opportunities, which interestingly enough are available only to employees. I love that. A company with a heart. A company that is centered around nurturing and encouraging their employees from the ground up, and they serve great food at great prices by a great staff 24 hours a day. No wonder they are so successful and so prolific. It was a good night and a great emal. I promptly went home and immediately went to sleep. read more

Went today. They had 50 flies flying around. The waitress was extremely rude and I left and went to another one.

My first time to any waffle house was to this location last month. I ordered the big breakfast meal (not sure what the name was). The server was nice and efficient. I give it five stars because the food was good and was exactly what i expected from the appearance and price. I did not expect entertainment with my meal. Pleasantly to my surprise a confrontational customer came in with two children without shirts on. The staff politely told her the kids needed shirts (pretty normal request). The mother went ballistic and began yelling all kinds of things at the cook. Luckily the cook dealt with her in a professional manner that was comical at the same time. I wish i would have tipped the cook for dealing with the crazy mom. read more

It's late. I'm hungry. I'm tired. I walk in and the two servers are sitting down doing absolutely nothing. The place is dead of course but there's always something to do in a restaurant. Waffle irons were dirty btw. As I look at the two servers, both seated, they both look to one another, giggles and one of them utters "I'm sleep". So finally one asks me "are you having this to go" (still remaining seated) as if they didn't want me to stay. In an obvious but slightly sarcastic tone, I replied that I was. The cook however greeted me and took my order. The rest of my visit was continued in silence as the cook finished my order. The server's only attempt to interact with me was to take my money. I hate to say this but this is why most people hate to dine in predominately African American operated establishments. This also coming from an African American male who also runs a fast casual dining restaurant. I rarely rate anywhere unless it's beyond horrible service and this experience was an understatement of that.... the one star was for the cook! Please do better my people. read more

Visited GA for the first time and we came for breakfast at the Waffle House! Felt nice with music and the food was delicious.

This was the second Waffle House I ate at while in Atlanta. I guess once you've eaten at one, there're all pretty much the same. I must say that, the cheeseburger that I ordered was damn good. I'll always stop and eat Waffle House when I'm back in Georgia. read more

I get home and I start enjoy my food and I start crewing on something crunchy to find out that it was an eggshell in my scramble eggs.
