A coworker introduced me to Waffle Love a month ago. I got the Waffle Works and it was amazing. Yes the waffle is not huge, but who could eat more then they give you. They are not your normal waffle so don't even try to compare them. They are a liege style waffle which are even better. It is a desert and meal all wrapped up into one waffle. I have followed the truck around Utah Valley and have eaten their 4 more times myself and included my family in one of those trips. My kids (who all love the Nutella Waffle) now follow them on Facebook and let me know when they are close to us so they can go again. The service is great, the food has always been great and they are worth the wait in line (which there always is one). read more

Seriously grubbin waffles. I went there with my parents who remind me often that they don't like "froofy food." When we entered the restaurant, I thought it had a cool vibe but was worried it was going to be too "froofy." My Dad ordered The Red Wonder and loved it. I had the Banana Cream Pie waffle and thoroughly enjoyed it. My Mom wasn't too happy when she first looked at the menu. Just a bunch sweet stuff and she didn't want sweet for breakfast. She wasn't used to this kind of specialty restaurant with a limited menu. And then she looked down and saw the Chicken and Waffle sign on the counter and her mood shifted. She said the chicken was delicious and that she couldn't remember having a yummier waffle. My dad couldn't stop saying, "Chicken on a waffle?? (laughs)" So Waffle Love gets some five star love from me for pleasing a couple of 70-year-olds who are not adventurous eaters at all! I never knew how amazing waffles could be until I had a Belgium waffle from Waffle love. The first time my husband and I decided to share a waffle from their food truck. Big mistake as we literally fought over the last piece. The waffles are sweet, chewy and topped with the most perfect toppings. The only slight disappointment is that for $7.50 I expected a waffle that was a little bit bigger. But still, this is as good as waffles can get. read more

It's true, their waffles really are amazing. Even though I secretly wish their prices were slightly lower, I still find myself happily shelling out to satisfy my cravings. My only hold up from a five star review was the lack of customer service I've received my last few trips to their Provo storefront. I don't enjoy dishing out negative reviews but It seems the employees are more concerned with their cell phones and flirting with each other than simply making a waffle in a timely manner. Somewhere in my subconscious mind is the idea that to be a good father, I must sometimes try things with my children that I neither desire nor expect to yield good results. My visit to this eatery, I submit, is one such experience confirmed. Despite its name and groovy graphics, the waffle place is not novel; it employs that old trope where new sugary textures and media substitute for genuine flavor. If you get the one with chocolate stuff on it, you'll be hard-pressed to taste real chocolate. It tastes like sugar, with the texture of cream, and yet without the flavor of creme as well. What can I say? It's crowded, popular, over-priced, loud, plasticky, and requires you to indicate your gratuity before you actually receive any service, which is no coincidence, considering the actual execution and experience is not entirely pleasant. I'd say this is strictly a dessert stop, but in truth, it's more like another Utah Valley sugar scam than anything else. At least it's not an MLM scheme. read more

We love this place. It's a bit of a drive from Pleasant Grove (we're boring and usually stay pretty close to home), but this is one venture that's worth it. We love the atmosphere inside the Waffle Love restaurant. Just like their food trucks, it's decorated in Missy's artwork. Cute sayings and quotes are found on the walls. Their menu is ridiculously yummy. I want to try everything on it. We love all their creations, but our go to favorites are the Cinna Love and the Dolce de Liege. You can't go wrong with either. I also love love love their Chicken and Waffles. Honestly I could do dinner and dessert right there back to back. We love visiting with Jared too. We were big fans of the Great American Food Truck Race when it was on because we could watch it as a family, and we loved the brothers. We loved how they treated each other, kept their moral standards, and how they treated their customers. Jared, one of the brothers, runs the Provo location. We've gotten to know him fairly well, and he always treats us like family when we come in. This past visit we got to meet his wife, MJ, too. She is super sweet. We can't wait to go back and this time take the kids. It's one of their favorite places too. Good place. Good owners. Good treats. Such a great experience. :) read more
