We started using her because we really had no solid foundation on how to train our golden retriever. She showed up at our home and we instantly loved her and so did Zinnia our puppy. We elected to board/train her while we left for vacation and she exceeded all our expectations. Zinnia is fantastic and we have plenty of information and tools to continue working with Zinnia on our own but Melissa will continue being our trainer on more advanced skills (service dog) and we feel like we have made a new friend also. She was overly timid, had separation anxiety, and basically ran the household. Tim came out for an eval, and within 10 minutes and a few tips, we could see a huge change in her. He spent nearly 2 hours with us explaining everything he does, what his background is etc. We felt extremely comfortable with him and decided to do the 4-week board and train. 4 weeks... sounds like a long time and we did miss her. Tim keeps you updated with Texts, Pictures and even videos on his website( password protected ). When Tim says the relationship between trainer and dog is the most important part of the training process, he means it. You can see the bond he built with our dog and she trusted him throughout the process. We got to see her after 2 weeks, to help with us missing her. We saw the process and it was amazing. Tim was excellent to work with, he gave us great instructions to take home along with a 3-hour long session when we picked her up, even gives a DAILY TYPED PROGRESS REPORT!. Did not expect that. I cannot recommend Tim enough. Every person I know that has had any sort of dog issue and is looking for a trainer... he is who I recommend.
