I dropped my puppy off for a 3 hour evaluation that Wagging Tails required before she could be scheduled for daycare. I returned later and was met with a very unprofessional and uncomfortable situation. They told me that sometime during those 3 hours, my puppy was boarded in a wooden crate and she "destroyed" it. I was bringing her in for a daycare evaluation and was never told she would be boarded. She is trained, but the evaluator didn't give us the chance to explain her commands. The kibble we left with her wasn't used either. We are very worried, after the shock of it all realizing that she had to be left alone in the wooden crate long enough for them to describe it to me at pickup as "destruction" and "destroyed." She's never displayed this behavior at home with her crate before. They told me she passed every other part of the evaluation, and did wonderful with the dogs but failed because of this. I was extremely apologetic and held my tears until we got to the car. Overall it was an extremely disappointing experience. I've never felt the need to write a review until now, but I just wanted people to know it might not be the best choice around! We're now taking her elsewhere and she's so happy! read more

I have been taking my dogs for many years for grooming. They have been kind and always did a great job with grooming. Front desk staff is well prepared by the time you show up with contact to call, review the services that you are in for, etc. so in and out quickly. I like the email, text reminders and call out couple of days before the appointment and another reminder the day before the appointment. As busy it is these reminders helps to get organized. I would definitely recommend them for grooming because your furry one will come out clean, well groomed and smelling great! read more

We take our high energy Blue Heeler/Aussie mix here any time she needs a day away to play with other dogs, a good grooming, or a sleepover (as they endearingly like to call it). We've now been multiple times and each time Camila comes back she's tired and happy -- exactly what you want for your pup! Went here today to get my 8 month old frenchie groomed. We have been here before with no problems. After picking her up she looked great and was in good spirits. After getting home, I noticed the corner of her inner eye was a little red and didn't think anything of it assuming some soap may have gotten in her eye. A few hours later I had noticed one eye was extremely bloodshot just to look at the other one and it was the same way. I looked up causes of it to see if it was just soap or irritation but many others online (from random salons not this one) had similar problems saying it was a hemorrhage in their pets eyes. So far she has not pawed at it or seems irritated by it but has had a little discharge around it. I am just extremely confused and concerned on what happened. edit: next day i called groomer and asked to see footage. lady at the front desk was super nice and had said she had looked and had not seen anything to go wrong. she called me back saying the washer said her eyes were red and told groomer but had not mentioned it to her which is why i was not notified. she then said the owner would call me. while waiting i contacted my vet to which they insisted to bring her in immediately as eye issues can go from zero to one hundred very quickly. she was there for about 4 hours where they had done a eye stain, an anti inflammatory shot, gave medicine, and monitored. she was still in good hopes but very stressed and crying at vet according to them. the owner finally called me while i was still waiting to pick my pet up from vet and was hostile with me. i tried to explain i just needed to know what happened so i could pass that information onto the vet to properly treat my dog. i once again asked about the footage to which she said she reviewed and said nothing happened probably just soap in the eyes. as you can see by the pictures, it seems to be a little more than just some soap in her eyes. I then asked to see the footage myself to which she said no as it was a privacy issue to her clients? I have no idea what she even meant seeing as no privacy forms were needed to be filled out at time of drop off as well as the only clients in the salon due to covid are dogs. i then said i am not saying i don't trust you on what your saying but i would like to see just so i can know for myself that nothing happened. once again she was very rude and denied due to privacy reasons. clearly something is being kept from me as if nothing happened, why would it be such a struggle to see the video footage. please please please save yourself the headache, money, and anxiety from taking your pet here as they have no actual concern for my dog and the possible issues that need to be treated. read more

I took my dog here about twice before, both good times but rough around the edges and this last time was my last time there. My dogs face was ruined and his poor nose and eye was cut and ripped apart by clippers. Had to go get a cone and schedule a vet appointment just because I wanted my dog groomed. Luckily I got the name of the groomer so watch out for Isabell. Not saying she's a bad groomer but I wouldn't let her touch my dog again. I'm horrible a describing the kind of hair cut I want for myself and ever worse for my dog but she listens intently to my ADD ramblings and manages to do it exactly how I wanted it. I just had my Aussie groomed for the first time here. She came back looking fluffy and beautiful. They did a great job listening to the kind of cut I wanted for her, and were awesome with her. Usually she whines when I leave her, but she was too happy getting a belly rub from one of the staff members to realize that I was leaving. It took around 3 hours, which I wasn't quite expecting, but that's not too bad since I didn't have an appointment and was just a walk in. I don't know how the prices compare, but I paid $45 for a bath, hair cut, nail trim, tooth brushing, and more. I had a $5 coupon from the Tempe sports center dog park. Professional and friendly service each and every time (on the phone and in-person), it's unreal! Clean and tidy shop. My dog is an Australian cattle dog so we go for washes, teeth, and nails. He's alpha, protective, and on-edge normally, and when we first went, one of the reps walked over with a treat, asked permission, and my dog was instantly in love. It's a no-brainer that treats are an automatic ice-breaker for dogs that are scared/reluctant. The groomers we went to previously never did that. Wagging Tails is the best place in the world. I sometimes wish I was a dog, so I could receive the same type of service my pup gets. They turn Crumbs from a Mogwai/Gremlin in the making, to a super tough Papillon that gets hit on by 100's of Poodles at the dog bar. He has since become very popular at dog school and they even wrote an article about his stunning new looks in the dog paper. He plays all day with other dogs and staff, gets fed at his normal time, has his own little pen to sleep in at night AND they clip his nails if they're getting too crazy.The staff is so nice and always so on top of things!
