Purchased a Groupon for my Yorkie a took her there to be groomed. I was greeted right away by a very nice young lady. She gave me paperwork to fill out. After returning the paperwork to her she informed My that the groomer that would be taking care of my little girl would be out to meet me and she what I wanted done. This was my second time here and I trusted them with my puppy. I came to go get my puppy while I was on break from work. I paid for it and everything went back to work while my parents took him home. My parents told me that they noticed something on his paw and tried wiping it and it was blood and it kept bleeding. Also second of all we paid extra for a flea and tick treatment and my parents found a tick on him after they told us "He had no ticks or fleas!" I paid $70 just to have my puppy come home with a bloody paw and ticks and fleas. I left him in their care and look at the result. read more

I have a rescue pitbull mix, Agnes, who is not dog friendly and is very particular about people after years of abuse. Finding a place to board her when I had to travel for work felt like a losing battle until I found Wagging Tails!! Wagging Tails is more than grooming/boarding- they love Agnes like family and it shows! I have brought Agnes for boarding multiple times and each time I get the best photo and text updates while she is with them, her toys and blankets come back clean, her food is always appropriately fed out, and she has her nails done and we stay long enough to get a bath most times too. At Christmas time they even took an adorable winter themed photo and had it printed on a wood plaque for me! I have to say my goodbyes in the car because when we get into Wagging Tails, "mom who?" Agnes is just so excited for her sleepover and to see all her people friends at Wagging Tails! Agnes and I get greeted by the friendliest staff when we walk in, the waiting area is extremely clean just like the dog suites, and everything is so well organized. Pick up and drop offs are a breeze, even when I've had to last minute extend stays or I was running late the Wagging Tails team quickly flexed to make sure Agnes was taken care of and that I didn't have to stress. The customer service is unreal, I am so thankful for the whole team. Pricing for boarding is comparable to other places but you won't get the same care and patience that Wagging Tails offers at those other places. For grooming, Agnes has been groomed three times here, and each time she looks great and you can tell she feels pampered like she's leaving a spa day, not at all stressed like she was when picking up from those big brand name pet groomers. Very reasonably priced and they have no problem hanging with her if I can't make it back right away to pick her up. The team has really stepped up during this Covid craziness, doing a special "doggy day care" for Aggie since she really isn't a fan of other dogs. Their normal day care looks like it'd be a lot of fun for dogs who get on with other pups, lots of room to play inside and out. But for Agnes they took her for a run, then let her sniff around and play outside for awhile and then let her have a suite when she was ready for her nap (girl likes her lunch time naps!) and after a bath and nail trim they texted me to let me know she was done. Today was the 3rd time taking our 2 dogs there and it was just as great as the first two times. Isabel always does a fantastic job and our boys always look and smell so great afterwards. They absolutely butchered my dogs haircut, we told them to cut off a bit like a summer cut but not too short because she's a golden doodle and not to give her a "brazillian" but she looks like the blonde skinny version of Lord Farquaad thanks to the square cut ears the barber chose. We won't be coming back again because this is the second time they've messed her cut up, first they barely cut off anything so we had to schedule aNother appointment. Now it's just too short, I wouldn't recommend this place. One star because there isn't an option for no star. read more

I was dropping off my puppers last weekend while I was going out of town with family. I have only had her a few months because she's a rescue and a 1 year old. This was the first time that I was away from her so I was really nervous that she would have separation anxiety. But due to this AMAZING pet resort I felt relaxed and happy with her being there. Alissa who works at the front is just the sweetest, all the gals in there are very loving and nurturing. While I was away they even texted me pictures of her and gave me updates! They were so excited to just have her there. Turns out she played outside many times through out the day, got lots of pets, and played with her toys. I honestly don't trust any other pet resort besides these lovely people because you can tell they just really love animals. We also got her groomed the day of picking her up and she smelled amazing and was SUPER happy! They are amazing! My CC has a hard time because her previous owners abused her. But they were sweet and very very patient with her and got CC to warm up to the groomers and came back to me happy! CC also was very knotted and rough looking. So had to shave her basically and somehow the groomers were able to make that shaved look cute. Update: I just read the response to my review from Kate. I'm simply going to say that she did not witness any part of any of the phone calls or in person interaction between Alyssa and I. Therefore her response is completely one sided and coming directly from the person that is guilty of the poor customer service. I wouldn't expect honesty as a trait from a person who behaved the way she did. And clearly customer service and customer retention is not important to Kate either. Of course everyone is free to make their own choices on who they give their business to. If you're reading this review then you are like me and research those places in advance to try and make the best decision possible. This was my experience and everyone can take what they want from it. I'm not here to tell people where or where not to bring their business. I was insulted, disrespected and humiliated by the person who is basically the face of the business and now the owner is making excuses for her lack of customer service. An apology is not an apology when it is followed by excuses. This response has only reinforced my decision to never return. (6/25/17) So this was my 2nd time bringing my dog for a groom. First time was excellent. Customer service was good and I was happy with my dog's groom. Well today was the 2nd time and I'm so unhappy. I had purchased 2 groupons months ago for them after reading reviews and thinking they sounded good. I used the first Groupon at the first appointment no problem. Went to use the 2nd one and the lady at the front desk refused it saying that I was only allowed to use one. First, nowhere is it written that you are only allowed one Groupon. Second, if Groupon allows you to purchase 2 then it should be honored. Had I known I was only allowed to use one I would've only purchased one and I would've planned to make my dog's appointment at a time that I could've budgeted the payment. I'm a single mom of 3 kids on a single income and work in public education where pay is not exactly amazing. All of my spending has to be budgeted in advance. She eventually accepted the Groupon, but not before being incredibly rude and degrading. She argued that Groupon does their own thing and makes their own rules and they have nothing to do with them. She went on to claim that they don't receive any money from purchases made through Groupon. Then why advertise on Groupon if that's the case? She humiliated me by asking how much money I had and if I even brought money for a tip. Of course I did bring money for a tip, but I'm not in a position to just whip out $48 for a groom unless I budget for it first. Which again, I would've done had I known they wouldn't honor more than one Groupon even though the fine print on Groupon said there was a limit of TWO PER CUSTOMER. She finally agreed to take the Groupon because "this was taking too long and frustrating her". I gave her the Groupon and $7 for tip and then walked out fighting back tears. Yes, I'm a sensitive person and don't enjoy being belittled over my income. It was completely unnecessary for her to talk to me the way she did. Up until now I was happy with them and have even referred several of my friends. Yes, Groupon introduced me to them, but because I was happy with my first visit, if this one would've gone well too I would've been a returning lifelong customer. The third visit would not have been with a Groupon and I would've planned it accordingly around my financial situation. But after being treated so rudely I will never return and I will tell all my friends and family that I previously referred to them about this experience and to stay away. They need to invest in some customer service training. Then maybe they won't have to use Groupon to advertise for new customers. If you treat your customers with respect and kindness they will keep you in business. This lady obviously hasn't learned that yet. read more

I asked for the teddy bear cut for my maltipoo but it seems like they were in hurry or something... they actually finished in less than an hour (which is good) but the cuts were very uneven overall (especially face). Other than that it's all nice. I've been taking my senior Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Doc to Wagging Tails for about 6 months. Not only do they make scheduling super easy (text) and paying super easy but they treat Doc like a prince. When we come in he is greeted with love and hugs by name. When I pick him up it feels like he's been loved. And he looks clean and trim and happy. They are so lovely and professional. I even get the occasional pix texted to me during his grooming session that just warms my heart. For some of us, our pets are our babies...and they sure treat them as such. I asked to reschedule an appointment and when I asked her next availability and she suggested Monday at 9 am, I said I work, she snarked at me and said "I work too." I've taken my dog here a total of two times and since the first day I took him there didn't receive a warm welcoming feeling from the woman at the front desk. My complaint is not with the groomers or dissatisfaction with my dogs haircut but with the customer service. Specifically one woman at the front desk (thinner, tall, brunette, tattooed I believe her name is Alyssa) I had called that morning to make an appointment and when I first came in to drop him off she accused me of not having an appointment without even checking her computer for her list of clients that day (even though I came prepared with all his vet records like she had instructed me to do). While filling out paperwork she felt the need to sit next to me and watch me fill it out and question whether or not I had called AFTER SHE HAD ALREADY FOUND HIS NAME ON THE COMPUTER. I dropped him off and got him back no problem, the groomers were very sweet and I was happy with the way he looked. The second time I had a different woman greet me and she was very sweet and when I called to check on him was very respectful and understanding. I tried calling today to make an appointment in advance for my dog (I know it was the same woman from the first time because I could differentiate her voice from the other woman) she said I required my dog have his vaccinations updated before I bring him in and they wouldn't take him unless I had them updated I wasn't aware that this was something this establishment required so I declined to bring him in opting for another place. She felt the need to text me from her personal number (I know this because it's not the same number as their business) and tell me that I should take my dog in for its shots before he gets sick. I understand the concern but I know when my dog is due for his shots and the recommended time to get boosters is between 1-2 years after he's had them, it is not yet that time. I responded by saying a personal response wasn't warranted and that I would once again not be bringing him back. I just found it very unprofessional that someone would go out of their way to try and shame someone for a personal choice they are making for their dog. I take great care of my 3 dogs and just felt once again disrespected by this specific employee. read more
