I had a great experience with this company. I also had the same "problem" as the previous jerk of a lady "Jo Ann C", difference being is that I actually did go down to the office and followed there procedure and a full quote was written up. I have called countless contractors and many will give it to you in writing but wont spend the time for every single client if they don't like the price; makes perfect sense to me. I had a wonderful experience and think the review left by this incredibly unrealistic child is unjustified and simply should be deleted as she never followed through with what was asked in order to obtain a proper quote. I also looked at her reviews and all this lady does is complain complain complain. It's simply shameful how a company like Yelp lets this woman file a bad review when she never took the proper steps to gain the paperwork. Its obvious she wasn't interested and just wanted a quote to chew other companies down. I Give Wagner Construction 5 stars because they completed the dormer ahead of schedule, demo and rebuilding of one side of the house, stairs, tile floors (Absolutely even). AS a matter of fact if you're ever on Spindle rd in Hicksville look for the biggest house on the block and that's what this company did. I also own a business and hate dealing with vultures like this animal that gave an unfair bad review. If I had to review the person who gave the negative review I think shes extremely selfish and has a false sense of entitlement. I own a business, some new clients that call just want information and a quote they can take with them. They are simply a waste of time and only look to chew people down to the point they low ball everyone. Another thing. The reviewer never went to the office to get a quote. She thought that someone would spend a couple of hours writing her a quote because its fun and a waste of money. If I have to give a quote for an IT Network install, the quote may take me 3 hours to get done after mapping and everything else. Many times I can see the client isn't interested so Ill speak out the number if she\he agrees then the quote gets written. Its obvious this sicko lady didn't do that. She only complained. She complained like she complained in every singe review this lady has. Her life must be terrible as every review is simply a bad one. Even the one good review she has she manages to complain with an "!" about the previous restaurant she was in... She was angry that they asked her to leave cause she only had coffee. Does this lady realize that all businesses are in business to make money & not waste time or tables? They shouldn't let ignorant and uneducated people give reviews on yelp. read more

Great company. Joe ann's review was the only negative I was able to find online. I called them anyway because I personally heard so many good reviews from people that actually used them. I see Joe is just complaining about not getting the work done, I also looked at her other reviews and it seems like she just loves giving bad reviews. After reviewing her profile I just had to discount anything this crazy banana has to say. With that said, Wagner was hired for the dormer, it was completed on time with very few hang-ups and any issues found behind the walls were easily corrected and I was put at ease. Steve couldn't make it to the house every day but Ken and others came and communicated greatly. They were all very informative and when I needed to speak with Steve he was only a phone call away. We had an exceptional experience with using Wagner Construction Company to replace our roof - from start to finish. Ken was incredibly knowledgeable, explaining every detail of the process and helping us know exactly what we needed to improve our roof and windows. The team scheduled the work quickly (which was amazing because we had a leak) and arrived right on time as promised. They initially came and discussed the roof and gave a very professional estimate. On the day of the project, they showed up on time, all 10 of them. They quickly covered areas that rubble would fall on, and started work. Within a couple of hours they had cleared the roof of old shingles, and another couple of hours they completed putting new shingles on. They cleaned up before they took all the rubble away. One of the workers came back next day to do some carpentry that needed to be done. We are very satisfied with the work Wagner did on our roof it was very professional and have already recommended them to some friends who were looking to do the same.
