I needed some help buying a specific, high-end wine and had a few questions. I tried over a number of days and at different times to "dial 1 for wine" along with trying other prompts, only to receive the same outcome. With our event approaching, I went ahead and placed an online order for a bottle of 2016 Penfolds Grange. A $525 bottle with $62.50 shipping and tax for a total of $639. Everything showed up fine. We have enjoyed this wine and even this vintage before and it is usually exceptional. However, this bottle was clearly corked with one guest mentioning, "it smells like a barn". Now, I don't blame Bottle Barn for selling me a high-end wine with clear cork-taint. They don't know what's behind the cork and stuff happens. I did email Bottle Barn to let them know that they had sold me a clear and obvious corked bottle of this usually exceptional wine. I did not ask for anything in the follow-up email, including a refund. I simply wanted to bring to their attention that they may have issues with other similar bottles and when future customers complain about cork-taint, that they should believe them. That's it. The frustrating part for me was after the clear lack of any communication on the pre-purchase side, they didn't have the courtesy to even respond to my email. A $639 purchase that was thrown down the drain and not even a reply. Seems to me that Bottle Barn needs to step their game up in regard to communication both on the pre-purchase and post-purchase ends.

I started to ask the person who was making sushi about the added vegetables. I have been buying these chicken bowls for years without the vegetables being in the bowl. I dont like the vegetables in the bowls. I asked the lady who works in the sushi department when they started adding the vegetables ,because I know the last time I purchased them there were no vegetables. Thats when the guy making pizza dough butted in and rudely said that they have always put the vegetables in the chicken bowls . I latter learned his name is Armoni. I told him that I had been buying these chicken bowls for years and no vegetables. The sushi lady said about 6 month ago. Armani insisted it has been for 2 years even after the sushi making lady said 6 months. Armani acted like he knew more that the lady that makes these bowls for the hot food department and like he knows more than a regular customer who has been shopping there since the store opened in this location. He was very rude to me and his fellow worker. He should have minded his own business and stuck to making pizza. Normally the employees are very nice in the Oliver's Market.
