Very disappointed with Bottle Barn. Mostly with their atrocious communication or, lack thereof…read more First, good luck trying to get anyone to pick up the phone. I needed some help buying a specific, high-end wine and had a few questions. I tried over a number of days and at different times to "dial 1 for wine" along with trying other prompts, only to receive the same outcome. With our event approaching, I went ahead and placed an online order for a bottle of 2016 Penfolds Grange. A $525 bottle with $62.50 shipping and tax for a total of $639. Everything showed up fine. We have enjoyed this wine and even this vintage before and it is usually exceptional. However, this bottle was clearly corked with one guest mentioning, "it smells like a barn". Now, I don't blame Bottle Barn for selling me a high-end wine with clear cork-taint. They don't know what's behind the cork and stuff happens. I did email Bottle Barn to let them know that they had sold me a clear and obvious corked bottle of this usually exceptional wine. I did not ask for anything in the follow-up email, including a refund. I simply wanted to bring to their attention that they may have issues with other similar bottles and when future customers complain about cork-taint, that they should believe them. That's it. The frustrating part for me was after the clear lack of any communication on the pre-purchase side, they didn't have the courtesy to even respond to my email. A $639 purchase that was thrown down the drain and not even a reply. Seems to me that Bottle Barn needs to step their game up in regard to communication both on the pre-purchase and post-purchase ends.

Hands down. I love this place. I've been coming here since it's open. I've been coming here since I…read moremoved away and moved back. I've seen it close for a few months and then reopen. I've been frequently here for so long that I don't even know the date when I started. So let's just say the day they opened after the bat that was here closed. they completely revamped the area to pristine new. you wo7ld have never known Anthony's was every here. the service is always spot on. is i an meeting someone here, I meet at the bar. they offer 2 draft beers, 2 on tap. plus often a cider or random choice. they have a tasting flight of wine of the week. Rosé fairly recently in my last trip. i always order the meatballs a la carte/appetizer. and if I get a salad, unless it is to go, o make it a piadine (wrapped on a pillowly soft yet satisfying outer crunchy garlic flat bread almost naan style). yes, you can cut it in half perfect for sharing. if you get the Caesar, I ask for more anchovies on the side. these are the pickled lightly brined white anchivy filets, much done in the same pickling style as mackerel in sushi restaurants. I love cutting to bits and eating with the salad and the pizza. certain pizzas are great with an egg on top, cracked in the middle cooked whites and runny yolk. if you want to make sure your white is cooked all the way, just ask them to add a couple movies for the egg. and they always serve pizza with fresh pepper flakes and parm. the squid is good. I especially like the green beans in this application. if they do a beet special, get it. I have loved them all. the latest was Moroccan style with annatto, juicy golden raisins, onion, garlic, pistachios, and sumac. so good. dark red, candy stripe, and yellow beets. As the specials rotate, be sure to ask what they have when you walk in. the Cindy pollo salad is a riff of Waldorf, done more in a Sonoma County style. And the lemon artichoke is amazing and simple. fresh shaved artichoke hearts hand picked, thinly sliced the tedious handmade way, never jarred BS. i came here so often for a while my friends stopped calling me and just started coming by this place to find me. a comfortable lunch can be around 25 to 35 dollars. is you want to splurge with a pizza, app, salad, and a drink this are looking at around 60 ish. A great staple to the county. And yes, I frequented the Petaluma branch when my mother lived down there, but she moved so I stick to this one. You really can't go wrong. if you eat nothing else, and are a meat eater at all... you must have the meatballs. hands down. I have brought in wine (Corking fee cheap, totally worth it), and I have bought it here by the glass. They have several sized pours so you can moderate your intake easily. this place is always a win win in my book. and hey, you might wander in on a benefit lunch or dinner. set menu and price and always regarding delicious and very affordable.

Tanner was the bartender and answered all my questions and made my night excellent. I started with the roasted garlic which I was surprised to find it did not come with bread. Tanner added it for me and it was excellent. I would suggest Rosso add the bread as standard. I wanted a salad but was afraid it was going to be too large. Tanner suggest a kids Caesar which was perfect and also was excellent. Tanner was 2 for 2 and asked his suggestion on pizza and went with the Carne which was different than I was going to order. I was glad I followed his lead as it was excellent and proceeded to eat the entire thing. Rosso has an extensive wine list identifying which ones were local and not. Great night highly recommend
