It has promise but there are definitely areas of improvement. The reviews on burgers are great and next time I'll try that, but it was late morning so I got a breakfast sandwich and a chicken sandwich. The egg sandwich was good but mostly because of the sauce. The chicken sandwich was interesting. Grilled chicken that was lightly seasoned and not much chicken at that. The sides were tots and fries and those were the biggest miss. You could tell that they were pre-frozen from a restaurant supply store. No seasoning or anything extra done to help them pop. The packaging was a bit wasteful, giving a separate bag for napkins and ketchup. Prices were fair and the employees were all clearly working hard and friendly. It really does have the feel of a new restaurant trying to find themself. I'll go again in a few weeks or months in hopes that they stepped it up. Definitely promising and as a local spot I want them to do well.

A small shop waygu burger joint, sister restaurant to Colorado Grill where they just serve waygu burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, and a variety of breakfast burgers/sandwiches. Very friendly service at the counter. We ordered 2 burgers, my husband ordered fries, and I ordered fried spicy green beans. The burger was juicy with great toppings and a potato bun. The fries were great as well with a light batter maybe? The spicy green beans had a heavy crispy coating on them. I prefer a lighter coating, like the tempura green beans, but these were tasty. And the portion sizes for the fries and green beans were very generous. Prices were very decent for the quality of food. They also serve Dad's Cookies there at their counter. My husband grabbed one, but unfortunately it tasted day old and stale. Not sure how often Dad's delivers to the restaurant but I wouldn't buy one there again, as there might not be enough turnover for the cookies to be fresh. The restaurant is fairly small, but they have a few tables inside. Definitely give them a try if you are in the West Shaw area.

Absolutely amazing! The staff was super nice and friendly. And I had the best salad probably that I've ever had in the area. It was definitely my top 5 of salads ever!! The Zoe Garlic grilled chicken salad. My family loves the burgers as well!

Crispy Chicken Sandwich Meal with half Fries and Onion Rings and Crimson Sauce.

Heard about this business establishment on the local news and my wife suggested we swing by to try it out. It is located on Shaw & West on a small and busy shopping strip or center. Its in between Starbucks and Spicy Mayo Hibachi. There's limited seating to dine in since it's a small location. So you can order to dine in or for take out. We arrive here around 11 am and it was a little busy with their food orders since others patrons were calling to take orders over the phone. Other than that we waited for about a minute till they took our orders. My wife ordered their Loaded Fries and it was definitely a genorous portion. I was about to order their Wagyu single burger but changed my mind and wanted to try their Crispy Chicken Sandwich with avocados meal, with half fries and half onion rings. I ended up requesting to try their Crimson sauce which had a tangy taste to it. So they slather that sauce all over my sandwich. It was a pretty decent size chicken sandwich and hot off the fryer!!!! So be careful when taking that first bite! Food came out hot and fresh and waited maybe 5 to 10 minutes till the server brought our food to our table. We were there for maybe 30 minutes and more patrons were showing up to dine in. Taste wise it was OK nothing special or extraordinary. I think I would've been more satisfied at Chick-fil-A if I wanted a chicken sandwich. However the loaded fries was good with the chopped wagyu beef for toppings. I would rate it a 3 or 4 out of 5 for taste. But quality of the food was fresh! So no Complaints and I would rate that a 4 out of 5. Would we come back again to eat, probably not! But if you're looking to try something new and different just give this place a try, don't let my review deter you from giving them a chance.

    Wagyu Burger with Potato Wedges

Read a few 1 star reviews. Not sure what they're complaining about. Parking was easy, plenty of seating. Staff was professional and friendly as soon as I walked in. Good music playing inside the store. I got the Wagyu Burger with Potato Wedges and ranch. Wagyu burger was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Nice sized lunch that didn't overdo it. Would be cool to see some Double Stacked Wagyu Smash Burgers as well! Potato wedges were fresh and crispy! Ranch was thick and creamy, so the good kind! Overall great experience! 10/10

Grabbed a #4 and got fries on the side. Burger was just okay. Nothing wagyu about it honestly.. It even came with wagyu bacon which was different. That too was just okay. Potato wedges was mid. Service was great though. Nobody was in there when I ordered, so no line and the lady also gave me a complimentary water cup while waiting for my food. Overall it was okay. Dk if I'm making the drive back up here though.

Only thing that's better than the burger is the service! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and were checked on while we were eating. The employees are super kind and patient when answering questions about their menu. I really enjoyed the burger. The ingredients tasted fresh and the bun is super soft. I also got a side of potato wedges which were tasty considering I'm not a big fan of potato wedges. They have a lot of sauce options that you can choose from for your side as well. Interior was nice and clean with a few tables to dine inside. Would definitely go back!

    Garlic Chicken Salad

This restaurant is a small neighborhood place with BIG flavors: I order the Zoe's garlic chicken salad. They were very generous with the amount of chicken. The chicken sat on a mixture of lettuce , cherry tomatoes and cucumber. The flavor of the chicken was very good and it was juicy - not dry. I will definitely go back to try more.

    #4 with potato wedges

The place is very clean and hip. The music they played was fun. The service is nice. The cashier was helpful. The food was good. It came out hot but it's not like I have to come back. But I would come back. Overall was I glad I tried it? Yes... would I try it again? Yes I would. Oh and the wedges are so yummy. Perfect crunch.

    Rise & Shine Breakfast Burrito

I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was packed -- eggs, crispy tater tots, avocado, and their Wagyu bacon. The bacon was honestly the biggest surprise. It had this rich, almost pastrami-like flavor that I've never had in a breakfast burrito before. Super savory, slightly smoky, and just different in a really good way. What really tied it all together was their molten chipotle sauce. I ended up dipping every bite in it -- super addictive. It's not overly spicy, just really well-balanced with a nice smoky kick. On top of the food, the place itself is clean, modern, and the service was fast and efficient. Feels like they've nailed that "premium but still casual" vibe. Definitely coming back -- this is one of the better breakfast burritos I've had in Fresno.

Lacking flavor and texture. WOULD have been better with just a bit of seasoning and AMERICAN cheese!

First, may I suggest that you NEVER park or turn into that section of the parking lot? It's crowed, busy, the spots are tight and YOUR odds of getting your car dinged or worse rise exponentially. Better to park over at Aldi or Taco Bell and walk over. 'Member when folks walked a bit? IF you are wearing polarized sun glasses, the menu board will look pitch black. Only when you remove them will the menu appear... The store looks like it hasn't been finished, lights out, none in the bathroom hallway and you're just as likely to open the door to the janitor closet, not the bathroom. How hard is it to put a sign up? Service was friendly enough, but lacking competence. Guess she's really new... I think I ordered the #3: 2 pattys, added cheese, extra onions, extra tomatoes, extra pickles.... Everything else on it. I also ordered the wedge fries... As usual, I had my slopping gloves on so that I could eat and go without using the restroom to wash my hands or getting my car dirty .. they asked me at the last minute if I was gonna eat in or take it to go. Since I've been waiting a while I had both of my gloves on and flashed them indicating that I'm eating here.. It took a while for the food to get out and when it did, a bag was brought to the table with a burger and two napkins in it. Both the bag AND the napkins had grease on it. I asked if the fries were coming and was told that she 'didn't think she had charged me.' It was clearly on the receipt of over $14.00. Don't they even check the receipts before handing the food out?? That's gonna be a problem! Anyway, I didn't care and was quite happy to wait for them to get cooked and then brought over.... I killed it in the gym last night and was listing with deficient, glacial recovery, energy... read, not moving as quickly as usual. Since they managed to not see the fries on the receipts BEFORE expediting, I looked closer at it and could see that the girl did not put extra pickles on as requested. So I had to get that back up before the burger came out... Observations: 1) The burger and fries could use some seasoning/salt. Both were bland. The meat was overcooked, too hard. 2) Cheddar was not great on the burger. Was American cheese broken and needed fixing? Nothing else like it. 3) The pickles lack snap/texture/flavor. I'd expected a hit of sodium what would have helped the unseasoned meat, but there was none. They were just kinda bland, not bright or contributing interest like when you get good ones. Thinking Jersey Mike's Pickles? 4) Why does no one know how to dress a proper burger bun anymore? Whatever goes on it should be SPREAD edge-to-edge on the bun, not plopped in the middle of the bun and put together. 5) The fries didn't have any salt on them. ZERO. And while that's fine, they should mention that and offered a packet. 6) The table I ate at was still dirty. 7) They seemed a bit unattached/vested. One of the girls asked another party abruptly out of the blue, "are you enjoying your burger, you coming back soon?' Didn't even wait for a response or engagement. While that's fine as part of a conversation, there was NONE. However brief, it came off canned/automated without ANY actual interest. Seemed disconnected, NOT really interested in hearing any detail. Well, HERE YOU GO! I got detail! 8) The burger, as received, was unremarkable. Greasy, yes, but not flavorful and lacking texture. 9) The option for RAW onions, NOT cooked, would be nice. 10) Tomato is so thin as to be almost undetectable, both in flavor and texture/mouth feel/bite. 11) A greasy brown bag and napkins handed out is unacceptable. Please to figure out clean gloves vs greasy. Execution is everything in a burger! EVEN the most humble ingredient matters. The proper dressing of the bun is essential as are the fillings that add texture and interest. Texture is a HUGE area of interest to me in eating the things that I enjoy. It's important but lacking in this burger. Without overcompensating, somebody needs to be fine-tuning and making sure that things are seasoned, both with the meat and the french fries. The actual flavor of the beef just wasn't that pronounced/special. The juice simply came from fat.. like dropping a couple tablespoons of oil on a burger, not memorable. The wedge fries might taste much better with a bit of salt.... And I mean, just a kiss. But if this business was reconsidering their choice of fries, may I suggest that they go with crinkle cut? When done right, they are magical. With a name like 'Wagyu' anything, you've got one chance to make a solid FIRST IMPRESSION on my taste buds. That meat/restaurant name sets the bar higher. That first impression was missed today. I wish them well and may come again father out in the future when they learn to execute FAR better... -G
