My daughter and I had a great experience at Wagyu Factory in Tustin. The wagyu and hot-pot selections were fresh, flavorful, and made for a fun meal with plenty of options to try. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, though it can get busy during peak hours. Our waitress, Jane, was especially wonderful--friendly, attentive, and quick to check on our table throughout the meal. She explained things clearly, made sure we had everything we needed, and helped make the experience feel welcoming as this is our time here. We'll definitely be back and would be happy to have Jane again!

Service 5/5: Buffet style, which is basically self-served but our waiter was very attentive and upbeat. Ambiance 4/5: Located at the District of Tustin. Very spacious but the layout can be a little crowding when you're waiting for your turn. Also, the booth seating is a bit far from the table. Broth: I went with my family so I got to sample a bit of everyone's broth and sadly I was not a fan of either one of them. They were all on the bland side. - Tonkatsu 3/5 - Tomato Broth 3/5 - Spicy Miso + Tonkatsu 3/5 FOOD - Meats 3/5 - Just average. Some of the rounds had very frozen meat. - Hot Food Bar 3/5 - Veggie Bar 4/5 - Seafood Bar 3/5 - Missing fish balls with roe - Sushi Options: 2.5/5 - Sauce Bar 3.5/5 - Ice Cream 4/5: They offered a self serve vanilla/chocolate and also Melona ice cream bars - Drinks 3/5: Soda machine that tasted very water down and the milk teas were too sweet. Overall, I think it was very mediocre compared to the rest of the Chubby Cattle establishments. None of the items were worth notating.

I came here for the first time (or any Chubby Cattle affiliate for that matter) a couple weeks ago and I was surprised at legit this place was. They have a huge variety of foods to choose from aside from the AYCE shabu, which include fried finger foods, fried rice, sushi, noodles, pastries, desserts, milk teas, slushies, and the list goes on and on!! I will say that it is a bit expensive for what it is but you definitely get what you pay for. One thing I didn't really enjoy about the place is the dark ambiance, the secluded area we were sitting in, and how hot it was in our room but what can we do. As long as the food is great (which it was) then that's all that really matters. I was hesitant to purchase the membership but after learning how cheap it was ($60 for a whole year which is basically $5/month) and the discounts and perks that came with it, it was a no brainer. Will definitely be back soon to try all the things I couldn't the first around. And trust me, you won't get to try everything they have to offer in one sitting, not unless you have five stomachs.

Big party and we had the private room. I like the go grab it yourself Everything option, including all the meats. It just makes sense! Good selection and they had fresh beef and shrimp balls a lot of variety of meat cuts, a seafood bar, a noodle bar, a hot food bar, a fried food bar, a balls bar, a dumpling bar, a condiment bar. So many bars.... Fun experience. It is a bit pricey. Please come and create your own adventure.

Located at Tustin Legacy, there's plenty of parking. I've heard good things about this spot so I was glad to finally try. We had a party of 13 since we were having a farewell dinner for my friend. We made a reservation ahead and they put us on one of the private rooms. We had our own room which was really nice since it was intimate. There were 12 individual pots total and so we had one of our friends share. I was honestly overwhelmed going in because there were so many different food sections and the signs were overstimulating. It's nice since you can get your own meat. The meat displayed is for the basic menu. They have a good amount of veggies and sides. They have a sauce section and have little posters providing examples of sauce combos. They have sushi as well as a hot food bar with items like nuggets and burgers. My favorite was the milk tea machine. Sadly the ice cream machine was broken when we went. The overall quality of the meat was really good. It melt in my mouth. I got the tom yum soup base and it was a spice that slowly built up. I had to request for a different soup to mix in to tone it down. It was hard to enjoy at first. Shoutout to our server Chris who made our experience great! He was attentive and friendly.

Kept passing by this in the tustin plaza over the past year and have been wanting to try it, finally got the chance to and redeemed my birthday meal from chubby plus membership :) Was originally going to try the lake forest location but please do note that this tustin location is hot pot while the other wagyu factory locations in brea and lake forest are bbq. At $49.99 for the standard price, you get a good variety of different food items. It's a self serve buffet unless you order the premium option which is around $15(?) more for unlimited a5. The standard option already includes unlimited salmon and unagi sushi, dimsum, curry rice, fried snacks, burger, lobster roll, cakes, lychee/passionfruit slush, oolong milk tea, soda machine, sauce bar similar to haidilao, meat station and veggie stations. Compared to mikiya, this place has a lot more options. My faves were the udon, wagyu chuck tender, quail egg, japanese tonkotsu broth, oolong milk tea. our server britney was very friendly and she said it was her first day serving which didnt seem like it at all to me. she was super nice and helped us out a lot but it was pretty random because a different girl had taken our soup orders first and then she disappeared lol. We were confused but britney ended up being able to help us out so it was fine. There was an offputting burnt smell around certain areas prob bc other guests forgot to turn off their pots and no one checked it. it smelled really bad. some of the walkways for thr food in the back area where the sodas are were also tight to walk through but other than that it was a nice ambience.

TL:DR - delicious! Go... Parking - get ready to cry. Get frustrated. Park way out there by Petsmart and hike in. it's okay Ambiance - light, happy Service - top notch. Super friendly and helpful Food - went with sukiyaki and tonkatsu. Sukiyaki was killer Sauces - Ponzi beat sesame. A surprise Meat - amazing. Come load up and get some meat sweats!!! Take only what you can eat else an additional 20% charge! Seafood in the very back so scan first Pro tip - scan all stations BEFORE you try Pro tip #2 get a plate located beneath the stations so you have more room at the table

Good time and good food. Pabi was the best! First time is overwhelming so she helped us out and I loved her energy!

Really solid hot pot with a TON of sides, drinks, and dessert. $44 for chubby club members for dinner, and it seemed to be a good value. The quality of the meat is good enough, as well! I didn't see king crab this time, but that's okay because it wasn't that good anyway when we tried it last visit (it was covered in some kind of chili sauce). Plain crab legs would be amazing though!

We came here to celebrate my son's birthday and we were able to make reservations online which made the process very easy and efficient. We were greeted by our server and he showed us the different types of soup bases we can choose from. I really like that it's individual pots so we can all have our own soup bases. I chose the sukiyaki base and it was not too sweet or too salty which was perfect. I really liked the variety of different cuts of wagyu beef, pork and lamb and also a lot of vegetables and sides options. There was a lot of hot prepared food as well as sushi options. To end the meal I got the self serve ice cream and there were cakes and egg tarts too. The store is very nicely decorated. It's definitely a good place to eat at especially with my hungry teenage boys! We have the chubby group membership so we were able to get member pricing.

Wagyu Factory in Tustin takes AYCE dining to another level with a hot-pot-forward experience, unlimited A5 Japanese, M9 Australian, and American Wagyu, plus an 80+ item buffet packed with seafood, sushi, vegetables, dim sum, hot dishes, cold dishes, desserts, and more. Come hungry, build your dream hot-pot spread, and do not skip the Chubby Club membership perks--especially if your birthday is coming up.

Wow! Another chubby group restaurant added to the book. I personally love shabu so this place was right up my alley! It had sushi, hot foods, dessert, drinks, etc. Staff was attentive!

THE GOOD: Overall, there's a good selection of fresh wagyu, veggies, seafood, and drinks. You can go up and get meat refills without waiting. Given how it's wagyu, I like that there were leaner cuts without it being all fatty. The broths we got were nicely seasoned. THE MEH: I wish they had more hot pots in the booths for 6 ppl- there was only 2 so broth choices were limited and fishing out things you put in was a little difficult. The table for 4 had their own pots...Our server came around once or twice then disappeared until it was time to pay. We literally had to bus our own table. *They add gratuity for large groups and only accept one method of payment so keep that in mind when going with a group.*

Our hot pot and meat/veggies :)

This is the first time I've seen beef tongue on a hotpot menu but I thought it went nicely. You also get to order one premium meat option per person which consists of items like scallop, abalone, and prawns. You order the meats and any appetizers through your server. All the appetizers are made to order and some of my favorites were the waffle fries, sesame cold noodles, and crispy pork bites. For all other things, they have a self serve bar for skewered items such as lobster/shrimp/meat balls, veggies like crown daisy and napa cabbage, noodles, small uncooked skewered meats, and a variety of different DIY sauces. Overall it's a bit more pricey than other hot pots but I think the quality is well worth it.

I hadn't been to Shabu Shabu Bar in a long time, so coming back felt pretty nostalgic. This was…read moreactually the first place where I was introduced to shabu shabu, and it's what started my love for this type of food. I remember it being really affordable back then, but of course prices have gone up over the years. These days, the cheapest small size is around $22-$24, which isn't shocking with inflation and higher wages. One thing that hasn't changed, though, is the tiny cup of ice cream they give you at the end of the meal, which is a nice little touch. The seating is all bar-style, which can feel a bit overwhelming if you're an introvert like me and prefer having your own space. That said, it's not uncomfortable. People mostly keep to themselves, and the servers don't bother you much either. They'll check in once in a while to see if you need anything, but they're not constantly hovering. What really stands out to me about this place is the goma sauce. When it's done right, it's seriously good--rich, nutty, and super flavorful. Honestly, it's one of the best goma sauces I've had, and it makes the whole meal that much better. Even after all this time, that sauce alone reminds me why this place left such a strong impression on me in the first place.
