One word, efficient. Stopped by here last night as I got a hankering for some Chinese takeout. Called Wah Sing after pulling off of 208 and placed an order for roast pork lo mien combo dinner and they told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. Well 10 minutes later, I arrived and was willing to wait, as I knew I was early. My meal was ready to go and I paid for it, and was on my way. When I got home, I was surprised by the portion size and the amount of roast pork in the lo mein and fried rice. It was cooked perfectly and the roast pork was tender and fall apart delicious. It had a nice amount of smokiness and came with an egg roll. All for under 15 bucks, I had enough for dinner last night and lunch today. I will be back. read more

Just discovered them recently and glad I did! I find their food unique. Most Chinese food is typical, but theirs isn't. Wish I could describe it better. Their menu is ok, not as many options as other places but has a decent selection. I can call from work and pick up on the way home!! On the downside, they don't put all the sauces and sides in your bag. Not even the coveted fortune cookies... and the person at the counter is a bit curt. Just discovered this place not long ago. I have been having takeouts from this place a couple of times now. The foods were consistently good. I also like their menu having a wide variety of dishes. I particularly like the eggplants with chicken. The flavor was on point and the texture of the eggplants were just right, not overly soft. The Singaporean Mei Fun was flavorful. The only ingredient missing was the roast pork. That's the reason for a deducted star on the rating. I will continue to get takeouts from this place read more

Wah Sing II is note-worthy as one of my favorite Chinese take out places whenever I'm in the area. They are even open until late if you have late night cravings which happens to me often. I mean, I'm getting hungry just thinking about their food. I really like getting their combination meals that comes with pork fried rice and an egg roll. I usually get general tso's chicken or the boneless spare ribs. Everything I have tried so far did not disappoint! The service is very efficient and the prices are spot on. read more

My mom would get our family dinners all the time from here as a kid. However, it's been getting worse as the years go on. Pretty much every time we ordered they got the order wrong. One time I was even there and I saw a chef drop some food on the ground, pick it up, and put it BACK INTO THE FRYING PAN. Another customer saw this and called him out on it, and he simply said it wasn't going to be her food.I don't trust it anymore! As nostalgic as this is from my childhood and convenient it is for the location, we've changed our primary chinese takeout food restaurant to King Wah over by Hawthorne. Here's the low down. This rating is for take out Chinese. My ratings should be read and understood based on the type of establishment it is. So, 4 stars for take out does not equal 4 stars for dine in. Get it? The staff is very nice, intuitive when taking your order, and accommodating on special requests. All great qualities in take out. We ordered a variety of dishes and all were cooked well, decent in size (albeit a bit light on protein portion), and hot. Be plus for using aluminum containers and paper cartons and not crappy plastic. Why do some places think it is safe to put blazing hot foods into plastic??? Thanks wah sing for doing it right. My only gripe is they overdid the sauce on our chicken and broccoli. We asked for light sauce and it came swimming in it. It would be great if they made kiddie chopsticks, but there's always room to improve right? If they keep it up I will add a star. read more

We are long-time customers and ordered lunch specials. When we got home, we didn't see any egg roll, soup, or soda that goes with it. We called to ask about it and the staff said, well, you never said anything or asked about it. We usually get asked for any of the options. The staff was very rude and didn't apologize. We brought this up to her and she yelled I'm sorry! She added customers don't get to be asked. They just get a soda. This is not true. Horrible customer service. place is also not as clean. I have only ordered from here twice. So far the healthier stuff is better than the unhealthy stuff. Egg roll was extremely greasy and the egg noodles when I was chewing them I could feel the grease going down my throat. Disgusting! Their Wanton soup is pretty good. The wantons aren't as thick as other places. 8) The chicken with steamed broccoli was good as well. I felt that the broccoli was boring. Needed some salt and pepper. We tried our usual mixed veggie, fried rice and sesame noodles. I do appreciate Chinese food places that allow half orders of veggies as many do not. We had them prepared in white sauce, they were nice veggies but they were horribly salty. The FR was average with not many veggies therein. The sesame noodles were unlike what I've typically seen- there was a stiff large blob of the 'sesame sauce' in the midst of the noodles; I guess they leave the mixing to the customer which maybe some prefer. The online menu is gorgeous; whoever did their website gets kudos! You'd think it was a place one could eat in but this is 100% take out only- a few chairs and a stray table seemed intentionally aside. I would give them 2.5 but not sure how to do halves on the mobile app so I'll leave it at 2.0. read more

Admittedly I was unsure of Wah Sing at first. The windows were so dirty from the street that I was hesitant to go in, but my parents had recommended it and we had already placed our order online, so I gambled and picked up our take-out. We ordered pork lo mein, garlic chicken, steamed vegetable dumplings, and steamed chicken/ tofu with mixed veggies. I had asked for the steamed chicken to be packaged separately from the vegetables as my mother is picky and won't eat the vegetables otherwise, but upon pick-up I saw that it was not. Inconvenient, but not the end of the world (I quickly separated the portions at home and packaged them in an extra take-out container before she noticed). The overall consensus was the chicken with garlic sauce and lo mein were satisfying. I found the lo mein to be too greasy for my personal taste, but I LOVED the way the tofu was prepared. No one was really crazy about the dumplings. They were very "dough-y." I was disappointed to see that they charge extra for the crispy noodles as most restaurants offer them for free, and the total cost ended up being a bit more than what we pay at our usual haunt, but "c'est la vie." Overall, I will definitely be ordering the steamed chicken/ tofu with mixed veggies again, and the option to order online makes pick-up a breeze. read more

The food is average at best, but the real rage is the cleanliness of this place! Or should I say lack of cleanliness. while you wait for your food, you get the pleasure of sitting on a discarded dirty 3rd row seat from a SUV. I had flashbacks of being in a 3rd world country while waiting for my food. This place needs a visit from the Board of Health! I was surprised that a place like this existed in Wyckoff. I have lived in Wyckoff for one year and have never had a bad meal until I ordered Wah Sing II take out. First the women on the phone and at the counter was incredibly unfriendly. They do not deliver so you have to drive there and pick it up. The chow mein was slimy and gross, the rice was yellow and not fresh. The general tso's chicken was greasy and made of chicken parts. I threw most of it in the garbage. I will never eat here again...I will keep looking for good Asian food in Wyckoff. read more
