The location is in Wyckoff and the restaurant is more of a takeout than a dine in. They do have some high top seating, but it's really more of a takeout. The restaurant is in a strip mall. When I walked in there was no one at the front counter. I had to call back a couple of times for someone to come to the front before they realized that I was in the restaurant, the service was OK. I ordered the Thai Spicy Basil Fried Rice and fried chicken. The person taking my order said it would take 15 minutes because they cook to order which is great so I took a seat and waited in the restaurant. A lot of people were coming in and out to pick up Uber and GrubHub orders. The food was good. The rice was not spicy and didn't have as much flavor as I expected , but the fried chicken was very very good. It had a hint of curry in it. I really enjoyed that. read more

Very solid Chinese/Thai restaurant. More of a take out restaurant with a window counter table with couple of seatings. Better (and less expensive) than the couple of other Chinese and Thai restaurants we tried nearby, i.e. T.S. Ma. The portions are very generous, and they add a lot of protein (which are also very tender), so no need to add extra protein. Favorite dishes are the pad thai, drunken noodles, eggplant dishes, 'four season', pork dumplings (made in house), fried rice and their chicken wings (which are massive). One dish we would love to see here is Thai style crab fried rice. They also have ramen, but the broth doesn't have the richness and flavor that you find in a typical 'Japanese' style ramen, more on the lighter/healthier side, if that is your style. P.S. It's my go-to for delivery. That said, it's like any other "fast-food" type American Chinese spot. Sometimes it gives you food poisoning, and other times it does now. Last night I was unable to sleep to due food poising from their drunken noodle dish. I will continue to order though. They follow directions, and deliver quickly. Too expensive, but its the only "game in town." To sum this up, I eat this food out of necessity and not choice. read more

This place has been CONSISTENTYLY awful; was only hanging in there for local convenience. On my last purchase, the soup tasted like it had dish soap in it literally, (gross) - I threw it out. Driving home late from work, I decided to be adventurous and go for the steamed pork dumplings with an egg roll and beef with broccoli. Service was very courteous and price was not expensive. Full disclosure: I am a dumpling snob, having eaten dumplings in the most well regarded restaurants in Chinatown and Flushing. These dumplings were very tasty with regard to the pork mixture inside, very good consistency and a substantial quantity of meat. The dough was even the right thickness. The issue was that there were no folds on the dough, no artistry to the preparation. The egg roll was as standard as they come. The beef with broccoli was also as expected. I felt satiated and recognized this food would be my standard fare had I stayed single. read more

Dragon House is a takeout Chinese restaurant that has a few Thai dishes on the menu. It was a good compromise for my house since I don't love Chinese, and my husband adores it. The online ordering process was simple, and the pickup was timely. However, the quality of the food was lacking. The chicken and string beans dish was tasteless. The vegetable green curry sauce was good, but the vegetables much have been sitting in the curry for hours. My husband and I ordered sesame chicken and orange chicken. They both tasted exactly the same. There was a hint of burn and the chicken was very bland. My husband's orange chicken literally consisted of burnt orange peels. Would not recommend this place. read more

Go here for vegetable lomein and egg rolls. Overall, it's ok Chinese food. Nothing here had me dying to come back except their friendly customer service. I also liked that they aren't cheap with the soy sauce and let you take as much as you need. We ordered online and got the veg lomein, veg fried rice, fried wontons, white rice, and egg rolls. The fried rice wasn't really fried at all. The broccoli in the chicken with broccoli was fresh and not mushy or over cooked but the chicken tasted like it cake from a freezer. We called to see if they deliver and they unfortunately do not. Was told to pick up in 20 minutes and waited for about 40 minutes in total...understandable as they were busy and it's Friday night. I waited on a nice comfy bench inside and it was cleaner and brighter then Tommy Chengs. Also the kitchen looked very clean. They installed new lighting which made a big difference for the entire restaurant as it's more inviting. Why they didn't redo the entire flooring or at least just the full front area? It would have made for a cuter atmosphere to dine in....There are 3 different tiles on the floor and that bothers me. read more

Clean efficient friendly service, but my biggest problem has been sauces that are watery and bland, especially the lobster and chow mein sauces that literally run down your plate like water. Went next door to Wyckoff and the take out there was the usual mom and pop good time New York City Chinese that came off the way take out should be on a cold Friday night. read more

The food here is fabulous! We ordered the general Tso's chicken, the chicken lo mein and the pork fried rice. The General Tso's chicken was the best I have ever had huge and cooked perfectly with lots of fresh broccoli and every bite was delicious and now we have lots of great leftovers. The pork fried rice and chicken lo mein were to die for! I highly recommend dragon house you won't be disappointed! Stopped in for the first time since restaurant changed hands! First thing I noticed it was clean and staff was very friendly! Ordered pork dumplings, pork fried rice and sesame chicken. The dumplings were delicious! There was a lot of dumplings and the flavor was amazing! I then tried the rice and that was different it tasted fresh and healthy not like most places where it seems greasy. Then my final taste was the sesame chicken which was surprisingly "ALL" white meat!
