My first time coming here I had the mongolian beef skewers which were amazing! The beef melted in your mouth with the perfect amount of rareness. Once I got their menu to bring home I saw they also had different bao buns that I knew I needed to come try. Today I got the roast pork and salmon bao buns. The buns were big in size and the dough is super soft. I thought the roast pork was a little dry and could've used a little more sauce. Food is what it is. Just order the classic American Chinese dishes and you'll be fine. Expect salty, sweet, and oily dishes prepared with low quality ingredients. Know what you're getting. It's American Chinese. They are stingy with the free rice and it's hard to explain the color of the wonton egg drop soup, but it's true they are my go-to delivery Chinese spot. I ordered from this spot for lunch for my clients. I called the day before and ordered several items for delivery and the lady that took my order was very nice. For myself I ordered the vegetable chow fun and the vegetable bao. Everything was delivered on time with no issues. I also asked the lady if she could put my food in a separate bag and she did which I appreciated. When I got in I ate and the vegetable bao was very delicious. The chow fun was pretty good also. The soup was nice, fresh, and seemed to have used a real chicken breast for the base. Came w 2 wontons (seemed home made); little meat but still good. The pork fried rice was flavorless. All I tasted was the oil. Good thing I like hot sauce cause I had to add a lot. The chicken and broccoli was good. The broccoli was perfect just cooked (not soggy) and the chicken was very tender. Pretty solid food and definitely did feel a little healthier and less heavy than the average Chinese takeout fare, as advertised. I will say it's a bit pricy for Chinese but the portions were generous. Ordered a wide range of stuff and while some items were better than others, nothing was bad. Highly recommend the the Pan Fried Noodles with Beef, one of my favorite things. Sesame Chicken was also delicious. The Roast Pork Bao was also a surprise hit too, not sure what the white sauce they use on it, but it was a perfect complement to the pork and the bao was big! Pork Dumplings and Wonton Egg Drop Soup were just ok, a little bland but otherwise fine. Overall, while a bit hit-or-miss, it was mostly hits and a good meal. Will definitely order again! read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. To begin with, I walked in and "server: Jean" was mopping the floor while asking me what I wanted to order... without even looking at me. When I knew what I wanted, I ordered a lunch special which comes with rice and a soup... she completely tried skipping the soup part and said that she asked me (she never asked me). Once I told her I do want the wonton soup, as it was included in the lunch special, she gave me the nastiest attitude and grabbed the food bag out of my hand and said "whatever." I wish I waited to pay, because I would've rather supported another local business instead of this. Not sure if Jean is the owner or an employee, she seemed to be running the show in there. But whatever it is, she needs to change her attitude towards clients. Not to mention another client that left complaining as soon as I arrive. So I was loyal to another local Chinese delivery place, but last time I order it took over 2 hours to get my order, but in timely coincidence I got a shiny colorful menu in the mail the next day. I was thrown off that you couldn't order directly off yelp, and yeah I avoid any place that requires me to actually call and speak to person! but I went to their website and easily placed my order directly on their site, plus I got their 10% off order. They have most of the traditional favorites plus more. When you place your order you get real and ACCURATE tracking. Order arrived on time! Portions are ok, so I first thought it wasn't worth the price. But I took a bite of each of my plates and changed my mind. Now its not the same tastes of reheated or refried dishes you come to expect, and kinda of like. Its different. Fresh! Better! Loved the crispy, perfectly cooked wings. Ribs on the bone were awesome! Decided to try this place out since they advertise that they use less oil and salt. Ordered a bunch of lunch combos, including boneless spare ribs and chicken wings. The pork had no taste, other than being sweet and chewy. Chicken wings were advertised as 4 but they're literally 4 pieces, not the 4 wings that other Chinese restaurants sell, and they were burnt and dried up - see photo attached. The Mongolian beef sticks were made of I don't know what and were hard and tasteless. The fried rice was disgusting, had chunks of what looked like old white rice. I've never had worse Chinese food. First time at this place 11/20/2020 Salty wonton soup. Undercooked vegetables and chewy beef on the beef and vegetables. Priced 30% to 40% higher than any Chinese takeout within the 10 mile radius. And, the coup de grâce they charge 7% (as of 11/20/2020) sales tax instead of 6.25%. Even though it is a miniscule difference, it violates New Jersey S&U tax laws. They collect more revenue from customer's than required. read more

Grand Wok's food tastes and looks like food (and if you've settled too long for variations on the same old Asian glop -- especially take out -- you know that's an unfortunately high bar in these parts). We ordered the pork steamed dumplings with extra sauce on the side, the General Tsos Chicken & Shrimp and Shrimp with Garlic Sauce, extra spicy. The pork steamed dumplings were very good and not too doughy...extra sauce delivered as requested. The shrimp with garlic sauce came with broccoli and red and green peppers and was very tasty. The restaurant boasts itself as having less oil and salt but I did not find that to be the case with the shrimp with garlic sauce; next time, I will ask for light on oil and salt. The shrimp were delicious and fresh! The General Tsos order was deemed "the best." Everything was delivered exactly on time. We will order again for sure. read more
