We stopped in for lunch at Foxwoods. I had the OFD burger-$14.95 and my partner had a Jenn's Chicken Sandwich-$12.35 and we split an order of french fries-$4.50. The OFD (Dorchester Burger) was cooked just right and it hit the spot. Downright delicious burger with just the right amount of cheese and mushrooms. The Chicken sandwich was crispy but juicy and it had a lot of flavor. The fries were similar to McDonalds but slightly bigger and we loved them. Better than Micky D's. Relaxed atmosphere and comfortable bar seating. We got fast service. I do wish they served Budweiser but they did have a good variety of other selections. read more

Our wait was nonexistent for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Our server was nice, and got our orders right, I enjoyed my drink and we shared the Mac & cheese pictured here. The mac was a good app to split 3 ways. I had the bacon cheddar bbq burger it had guac on it but only the littlest dollop of bbq sauce, the burger was cooked nicely but nothing to write home about. The chairs are not comfy at all but the booths (of which there are few) look considerably more comfortable. The menu online differs a lot from what is offered at Foxwoods and there is no mac & cheese option w/out the chicken, as well as no pulled pork specials or seasonal drink specials, and no Buffalo sauce anything, disappointing bc I was looking to try the Buffalo chicken bites. I really don't like to put in bad reviews. Whenever we go out, I am looking forward to a good experience and I am aware of how hard the food service industry is especially in post covid Era. We really wanted to like this place and add it to our options when hitting up Foxwoods. When we saw that Foxwoods was adding a Wahlburgers we were excited to give it a try. This Saturday my wife wanted to spend an afternoon going through the outlets so it was a great time for a casual, comfort food dinner. My review will focus on 2 aspects of the night. The first part of the review has to deal with overall experience including staff and location. The second part focuses on the food. We arrived around 5pm. There were a scattering of customers in waiting area and the tables appeared to be about 75% occupied. We thought great, we should slide right in. Once we got to the hostess station,staffed with 3 people, the night began to go downhill. The greeter barely looked up from her handheld tablet to acknowledge us. I stated we would like a table for 2 for dinner,is there a wait. Between chewing her gum she managed to convey it was a 20 minute wait, she asked if a high top would be ok and took our name and cellphone number to text when ready. I wrongful assumed that we would be seated as soon as anything opened including a high top table. There were 3 booths open in main dining, at least 1 table also plus several booths and tables in the bar/serving area. We walked to restrooms and over to the video archway across from restaurant. After about 10 minutes we headed back and grabbed a spot on waiting area benches. We watched the 3 staff at hostess Station convey a complete lack of motivation and welcoming attitude. 1 lady walked up and asked if she could grab a seat at the bar to be greeted with a wave of the hand and that's all. It became apparent that even though a number of booths and 4 spot tables were open, we were destined to wait until a high top was open. Maybe it's company policy. We considered leaving at the 30 minute mark but my phone buzzed and off to a high top in the bar we went. Our table was positioned in the large,open space that looks out onto the casino and,unfortunately, a service entrance where restaurant employees and garbage enter and leave. Our server brought menus, took drink order and returned with our waters and asked if we were ready. It was literally 5 minutes after being seated so we asked for some time. We made our selections and waited on his return. My wife was facing into the rear of restaurant and saw him leave through back doors. During our wait we noticed not 1 staff member had a smile on or in any way conveyed that they were happy to be there. I don't know if something happened or what but the entire vibe was depressing. We witnessed one of the bartenders through out a customers leftovers when we clearly heard the customer ask for it to be wrapped to go. When the customer asked where it was the bartender said its in the garbage, oh well, and walk away. It took a good 20 minutes for our server to reappear. I was getting up to leave. We were starving so I convinced myself to stay . We did note that the time from ordering to food arriving at other tables was pretty quick. The server explained he got stuck at the window which didn't really explain the long absence. My wife went with the our burger minus onion and tots. I wanted to custom order a burger but that isn't possible evidently so just went with an our burger and deleted cheese,sauce and onion..I wanted to add mustard, mayo and ketchup but I guess they can't? I also got a side of fries. The food arrived within 10 minutes. That was nice because we really were starving. The burgers were ok. The buns didn't seem to be toasted and the beef patty was lukewarm. The vegetables were fresh and crisp with the lettuce being shredded,. Fries and tots were hot but abundantly obvious that they were frozen industrial varieties. The salt level on everything was way over the top. The bottom line...cooperate needs to get in and retrain staff or find out why everyone is miserable. As far as the food ,I personally felt like it ranked below 5 guys for freshness and taste but 5 guys fries are miles ahead. We honestly expected more, like house cut fresh fries,slightly larger patties and the ability to customize better. It really had the feel of mass production. Unfortunately, I don't think we will be back and that is a shame. There isn't alot of quick,casual food options there where 33 bucks gets dinner for 2. read more

Went on Easter Sunday. Wasn't expecting them to be open, but so glad they were so I could complete my boyband themed month! The service was great! I didn't have to wait for a table and my server was very attentive. She even apologized for the food taking a long time (which I was too busy on my phone and people watching to even notice that it had been a long time). I got the chicken bites with 2 sides, french fries and onion rings. I am super picky about my onion rings, but when the menu listed them as thin and crispy, I figured I would try them. And they did not disappoint! Those onion rings were even better than some of my favorite fair food onion rings! And the chicken was fresh and super juicy. The french fries could've been a little better; they were just typical diner/bar french fries (hence 4 stars and not 5). For the price the portions were really big. We ate here a week or two ago just me and my daughter. Not only was the food amazing and served in timely manner. Our waiter Emily was also just as amazing not only did she make sure we were comfortable she also continuously checked to make sure we had all we needed. Came here with friends yesterday and had never tried here before. It has a nice little ambience in here and the staff are very friendly. I tried one of their cheeseburgers, which I found to be pretty basic and not very spectacular. Their salad was also pretty basic as well. I figure they are going to jack up prices because you are eating inside of a casino so that will happen naturally but still it's a lot of money for mediocre food. It is not bad, but if you just need a quick bite to eat, and you wanna stop in then just know that you should not set your expectations that high. read more

It did take a long time to receive our food. only because they were super packed. I waited for years to eat at Wahlburgers because I like Mark Wahlberg as an Actor. When I found out it was at Foxwood's Casino, I figured I would give it a try. I'm sorry I did. I ordered the Fiesta Burger with an order of fries and an iced tea. Two of my friends ordered burgers too. The meat was very good but, the buns fell apart so badly that we had to use the silverware to eat them. I didn't get any sauce at all on my Fiesta burger. I asked for Tabasco sauce for my fries and when I went to put it on, a whole stream poured out onto my fries because the inner part of the bottle was missing which would have allowed only a limited amount to come out. They were ruined because of that. It was a $23.00 disaster. My friend ordered his burger medium well but, it was so raw that he wasn't charged for it after complaining to the Waitress. This is the best restaurant I've ever been to. The food was delicious recommend the super melt and the food came out extremely fast. The bartenders were all extremely nice, welcoming and very experienced, pointing to Joe, Stacey, and Ivette they deserve a raise based on there outstanding performance. Walked in an hour before the kitchen closed. Got sat by the very brief host, but then was not greeted by a server for 10 minutes. This was after we heard two servers arguing over who had to take us because they both didn't want to serve us. After a server finally came over, we went to put in milkshakes (part of what this place is known for), and they said "we can't do that", followed by another server passing us saying "ya we ran out of icecream". We then asked for our appetizers to go when our "server" then ushered us to go sit down on the benches in the front of the restaurant. Now at 1015, when the restaurant closes at 11, the server who must've won rock paper scissors to not serve us, began to move barriers right in front of people as they were trying to enter the restaurant. Never have I been treated with service this terrible. If you don't want to work in this industry with people, DON'T DO IT. Wallburgers...do better with hiring your staff. read more

I stopped in to make a reservation on a Thursday eve about 430 to arrive at 530, and was told they don't take reservations, just come back, so we did. I asked for a table or booth, and was told none available, but we have seats at the bar, which we took.
