    Delicious fish tacos

They have killer onion rings, the fish tacos were very good. It was a little pricey, unfortunately. Everything else was decent. Service was nice. There was a time when the restaurant itself had more character, you may recall that basically the outside and the inside were covered with surfer and skateboarding stickers! The ambience was so fun. Now it just seems to be OK food for the most part and not the best value, (two fish tacos with beans and rice and onion rings was over $30 !) I think I'm not happy at the fact that my fish taco was very limp, not crispy! They weren't exactly something to write home about either. The guacamole was good. The salsa was good, but I didn't keep well for the next day when I took some leftovers home. I should've returned it, (there are so many places around that actually make crispy delicious fish tacos ) if it wasn't for the nostalgia of this place, and so many memories here I don't think I would've ate here - additionally I felt that the employees were nice, but not concerned, also that This wouldn't have been there first choice of style of cuisine. I missed a really cool, surfers and skateboarders that used to work here and kept the theme alive. And all the stickers bring back the stickers!

Protein Bowl w/ Cajun Fish and Grilled Chicken

Pretty standard and healthy food with reasonable price. The portion was generous too. They didn't season the chicken and the fish well, but it tastes healthy at least. The citrus slaw was new to me and I don't hate it. I also tried their churro chips and they are surprisingly good.

Restaurant is very clean with plenty of seating. We ordered at the counter and a server brought us our food. When we were done, the server cleared our table. Food was good but maybe a little bland for my taste. Maybe next time I'll try the fried fish tacos, instead. My coworkers enjoyed their tacos

First off let me say that I've been a very long returning customer of Wahoo's went in for lunch today and got one of my personal favorites the 1988 burrito wet style with green sauce that burrito is absolutely magical and that particular green sauce is extremely unique and you can get it on other things like the enchiladas I personally like to use it as a dip for taquitos anyways nice job was keep up the good work

Bazar Bowl was all rice with less than 3 oz of protein. Embarrassing.

Staff 10/10 Food flavor 9/10 Portion of protein to food 0/10 Won't be returning. Management needs to monitor and audit how much protein is given (less than 4 oz). Unacceptable, unless you want a bowl of rice and beans with 3 oz of chicken (carb bomb). I asked the chef beforehand and she said 6 oz. My wife and I ordered 2 banzai bowls and the chicken was nowhere close to it and left us hungry for protein. I left half the bowl of white rice there and heading somewhere else to eat my protein. Disappointing.

    Description of tacos ordered.

So bummed with Wahoos today! I no longer live near a Wahoos so when I am close i always get it. Ordered through Door Dash. Ordered 2 -2 1988 tacos with rice and beans. All pictures show salsa on the tacos and the rice. I ordered two extra salsas because I like a lot. The tacos had no salsa on top(completely dry) and only the two salsas I paid extra for were included in the bag. So not a single salsa for the tacos. The timing was pushed back multiple times-quoted time 29-36 minutes for delivery. Ordered 1:04. Received 2:00. The driver was waiting for the order for 10 minutes. A total disappointment for someone who only gets the chance to eat here about once a year.

I heard about this place for a while now, so I was glad to finally try it. 5 stars for friendly workers, the chill environment, and delicious food! I especially love the carnitas in my protein bowl and churro bites. Everything was delicious and filling!

It's been a while since I've been to one of these locations. It's like fast food but a little better. The fish and shrimp were good.

    Tony O.

A little context first. I don't normally tip to-go orders. Tips are for good service, and if I give one, it'll be AFTER I know it's deserved. Well apparently this place decided to retaliate! Food WAAAY overspiced. I like my food spicy but this was entirely inedible. It's simply not possible they'd make all of them THAT spicy and stay in business. Portions WAAAY under poured. See photo below of my $9 soup before I ate it. I noticed them chatting a lot and sort of looking in my direction a few times as if to be saying "we'll teach him to snub us, stupid ...", as the minutes kept advancing. Something seemed off but at the time but now it makes sense. I generally like Wahoos, but I shudder to imagine what else they did to our food. That's a stretch, but maybe. If they're willing to do that then what about hygiene? It also speaks to the management in general that they tolerate this; maybe the night manager was in on it? Also it took pretty long, maybe 15-20 minutes, so it's not the quick meal I usually get from Wahoos, and I was essentially their only customer for most of the wait and they had 3 people on staff. Maybe I'm learning why it's not popular. I'll never visit them again and I urge others to only visit at their own risk. The Wahoo's on Jamboree & Michelson has always been great. This one even look dingy from the outside.

    Baja Rolls
    Joy C.

I always order the Baja Roll, it's so filling and only $6.99. The green sauce that comes with it is just the right amount of spicy. Parking is horrible at this location but I tend to go during off-peak hours.

The chips and salsa were really good. The aguachile had a nice spicy flavor that made it stand out. Everyone ordered different rounds of cocktails throughout the night and honestly, not one missed. Service was a little slow, but it was a busy Friday night, so that's somewhat expected. I've been here before and the grilled octopus tacos and carne asada burrito were just as good as I remembered them. They also made the birthday celebration really cute. The birria tacos were packed with flavor, and I loved the inside-out cheese crust. My husband's fajitas were flavorful, although the chicken was a little overdone. The guacamole was excellent, especially with the pepita seeds adding great texture. Overall, we enjoyed the flavorful food, service, and atmosphere. We'd definitely come back!

I've been shopping at this location for about a year and have been a customer of Northgate Markets for several years. Unfortunately, my experiences at this location have become increasingly disappointing. I've encountered raw chicken left on the shelf two or more days past its expiration date, fresh fruit and salsa still being sold after their use-by dates, and produce that was visibly rotten and infested with bugs. These aren't minor issues when it comes to a grocery store--they're basic food-safety and quality concerns. And then there's the customer service. Today, there wasn't a friendly employee in sight, and the customers weren't much better. I'd especially like to thank the grumpy woman on the scooter who apparently tried to run me down three separate times. I assume you were having a bad day, but judging by the atmosphere in this store, it seems like everyone is having a bad day, every day. No one smiles. No one acknowledges customers. No one seems remotely interested in providing even basic courtesy. I understand that people have bad days--I really do--but when the entire experience consistently feels cold, hostile, and unwelcoming, it becomes a pattern rather than an isolated bad day. The cashier couldn't be bothered to say hello back or even make the slightest attempt at being friendly, and the young man bagging my groceries was just as dismissive. I've spent years shopping with Northgate Markets, which makes this especially disappointing. Customers shouldn't walk into a store and feel like they're an inconvenience for simply being there. Today was the final straw for me. There are plenty of other places willing to take my money while treating me--and other customers--with basic courtesy and respect.

We shared: Camarones à la diabla, menudo, and chingolingas. The camarones were 10/10! I've tried this dish at numerous restaurants and this is by far the second best tasting camarones à la diabla I've ever had. First place is a restaurant in NorCal from years back. The red salsa is delicious! The shrimps are a nice size and they have the shell on so it retains all the flavor. Even the beans and rice were delicious. The menudo was delicious as well! I'll definitely be back for this too. It's only served on weekends, and we were lucky they still had some available. The chingolingas are almost like flautas de pollo, it came with guac and sour cream. They were delicious too, however, I'll probably order this as an appetizer or to share with others. Rocky was our server and he was amazing! Super friendly and attentive. We talked about the food, other locations, and even their anniversary event coming up on October. From the moment I drove in until we left, it was a great experience. Not only was the food delicious but the service was superb. All the workers seemed happy and it looks like a nice environment to work at, I think this adds to the experience for people who come eat here.
