It does get busy with tourists but that is expected. I like that there's the convenience of snacks and foods because who isn't hungry all the time? And the souvenirs are soooo cute.

Upon entering at this Kihei location, most employees voice, "Aloha", to welcome the customers. I thought this was really nice. The staff was welcoming and offered to be of assistance in finding anything one was particularly looking for. This store was very clean and appealing. This convenience and souvenir store chain serves as a one-stop shop for grab-and-go food (cold and hot offerings) including drinks/liquor/ice cream, all types of souvenir island home & gifts, and many types of souvenir tchotchkes from keychains to stuffed animals. There is a large selection of beach gear as well as Hawaiian apparel. Prices of the clothing are quite reasonable and the quality good. However, it's best to shop around before buying the macadamia chocolates and other souvenirs as prices can greatly vary. If one is making a large purchase, ABC Stores offer a Gold Card, which entitles the bearer to free gifts or combinations of gifts. Ask an associate for one of their free Gold Cards. Everything a tourist needs in one place.

The shop sells mostly liquor, but upon entering and making a left turn, you will encounter the poke station. I grabbed a 1/4 pound of the spicy ahi and then bought a bag of the Maui onion chips to go along with it. The poke is $26 per pound and you can get it in 1/4,1/2, pound serving sizes, which is quite nice. They also had bowls that you could get that came with rice, but I really wanted to try the poke with the onion chips. The fish is really fresh here and I was super happy to find The person working at the counter was very nice and patient as we were deciding what we wanted to get. I highly recommend stopping by here for poke. While you're at it, you can also go grab some Maui pie after eating here.

Minus 0.1 because of the mayo sauce that didnt really hit plus the knife work but everything else exceeded my expectations and changed my mind about tuna INDEFINITELY - located inside a liquor store which i thought was pretty quirky and the parking lot is quite empty too; it's giving ratchet vibes but hidden gem - quick service - i like that they mostly serve fresh tuna only and not that many previously frozen ones because foodland has many previously frozen selections IG: @nom.noms.only

We stopped by Richard's to grab a caffeinated beverage before starting our day exploring the island. I was impressed by this quaint little store that offered everything you need and a little more! I saw all of the staples and everything was fresh and clean looking. The prices were as expected for a small general store located in a remote area. If you shop the deals/sales it's pretty comparable to the mainland. Definitely stop by for your essentials when visiting lanai!

They've been in operation since 1946 and are located on Dole Square where many of the island's businesses are concentrated. They offer a variety of fresh produce, meat, seafood, and pantry items. They also have a selection of prepared foods, gourmet wine, a poke counter and sundries. I came for the snacks (of course) and settled on their spam musubi. I don't know what they put in their musubi, but that thing was DELICIOUS! The rice is seasoned along with the spam and both together are a homerun. My only regret was only getting one :( All in all, this is a good place to stop and stock up on snacks, drinks, and other items.
