In less than two minutes of being in my room, the PA, Austin, came in and was so friendly! He recommended a cortisone shot, which I gladly accepted. While he was preparing the shot we talked about Disney, and he kept me busy while injecting my knee. He was awesome and I recommend him if you need a visit to the Clayton Urgent Care. The front staff was super nice, and Lauren, the xray tech, was also fantastic. When it's time for my knee replacement, I know where to go!

I never write reviews but I am now, I broke my wrist in April, never had a broken bone before, 3…read moresurgeries later, still not healed, because I wasn't heard when i kept repeating something is wrong, only when i suggested an mri and that the dr stop for a minute and examine was i heard 4 months in at this point, but even before then, I kept saying something isnt right with the thumb then discovered tendon ruptured, surgery for that but still side of wrist off, really painful, so hence finally heard, mri, bone was healing incorrectly, had to rebreak, repair tendon sheath, etc. and i went to post op visit, waited for one hour and 10 min, no dr seen and noone checking on me, i abruptly left, so now post op visit 2 months out and wrist still not right, cant change drs now because of ins. it is unacceptable, and Im not a go to dr person at all, nothing overly expected except for proper care, proper listening , thats all, I was a person that worked out, active and this has been awful, I feel this is a place that they want to see as many folks a day as possible, even if it means they lose a few, i feel cheated for sure.

TERRIBLE PAIN RUNYON Tried one procedure that didn't work said there was nothing else he could do for me gave me opiates Jude carr PA. Saw him briefly after Dr Runyon left more opiates and ordered a MRI up until then they didn't know what was wrong with me! I went to Drl Liu. I had researched online and found lots of other procedures I asked her if I could get an epidural and got one right away only got real results from her Take away: Don't wait in pain so long change doctors I had my spinal fusion procedure in August and found Dr Liu in January I had almost given up I asked her to do a procedure that I had found online an epidural and she did it right away and I'm waiting for it to kick in after months of extreme pain. I didn't have any pain before the surgery surgeon was doctor Crutcher If you're not getting results search online that's how I found the epidural Jude Carr just kind of brushed it off. We came to Dr. Hey for a second opinion when her doctor recommended a wait and see approach. In our experience, back pain becomes worse with age, not better. My daughter is in color guard and plays violin. She had significant back pain and took pain medication daily. Dr. Hey discussed her options with us and encouraged my daughter to think about what would be best for her health. She opted for surgery. She missed about 2 weeks of school and rested during spring break. She was able to return to color guard for band camp in July and has not had to take any more pain medication for her back since her surgery. We are so thankful for Dr. Hey's expertise and his caring heart. He and his staff were an answer to prayers. My daughter is so thankful that she had her surgery and is very thankful for Dr. Hey.

After researching my injury, I read it was a rare break because it started at my prosthetic knee and formed about a 9 inch fracture. I am thankful to be at WakeMed. I had very little post operative pain and was accepted into WakeMed Rehabiltation Hospital. I am sure Dr. Whitlock played a part In this. I could not have had a better experience.

Given it's her JOB to schedule, so she intimately knows that appts book quickly so you need to book several weeks out, it's inexcusable she brushed me off this way. Zero compassion from her. She should NOT be in a customer service role. Put her in back office away from patient interactions.
