This review is about how terrible the check-in process is at the Walgreens pharmacy. The only way to check in is by scanning a QR code inside the store, yet there is no cellular service inside the building. After waiting about 20 minutes for help, I was told I had to go back outside to get a signal to complete the check-in. When Safari refreshed twice, I had to return inside and scan the QR code all over again. Walgreens even sends a text before your appointment saying you can manage your vaccination online, but you can't use that text to check in when you arrive. Requiring a QR code in a store with no cell service is a broken system. There should be a way to check in from the appointment text or have the pharmacy check patients in without relying on the QR code. read more

If I could give negative reviews I would! This is laziest, unprofessional, outdated store/pharmacy! They constantly take auto refill off my order, never have orders ready, the line takes forever. I'm pulling my scripts and going elsewhere. This store should be shut down!!! read more

While at Walgreens today, I was struggling to get my necessary items. First, there was no availability to get passport photos (not their fault, since the machine was broken), then there was a coupon that was not working. I was starting to get a bit frustrated when one of the staff, Karla, stepped in and helped me work through the coupon faux pas. Thank you for the help, and feeling relieved as I left the store. Twice they screwed me. I set up an appointment for my son's second COVID vaccination last week and received appointment reminders and confirmations until the actual day of the appointment. Then I got a confirmation followed by a cancellation text and email. No explanation. Just a number to call and reschedule. I set up another one for today and again, received confirmation reminders and emails until this morning, when I again received a cancellation text and email without any explanation. I called the Walgreens and after a 10 minute hold, was told that the vaccination doses were not received today. They were supposed to come in from their South Austin location. I rearranged schedules on 2 different days based on the information that this Walgreens had the needed vaccination doses for my son. Both times, the appointments were cancelled same day with no explanation. Only to find out that it was a problem within the Walgreens system that was passed on to their customers. I don't trust them any longer and they did not seem even concerned about their recurrent appointment cancellation. They are not partners in health care. read more

This place is horrible as a pharmacy. More than once they don't have the medication In stock. Do they bother to call and tell you, nope. Glad it's never an important medication. Today they get my prescription at 2. Don't bother to let me know one is on back order. They state they notified my doctor. I find that hard to believe because my doctor will return phone calls rt away. Funny found the medication across the street at the competitor. Stay away. read more

The pharmacy staff are excellent. However, the remained of the store is less than stellar. Prices are not reasonable unless you are enrolled in the discount program. I have had issues with photo quality and there can be long lines with only one employee checking out. read more

Went in to mail a FedEx package and the associate at Walgreens was not able to help with a simple request. Would have expected the site to print out a label and accept for FedEx shipping. They redirected me to another site across the street at an OfficeMax that could print and accept the package. read more

Awful service from pharmacist Athena and tech Samantha! Even though they are In Network with GoodRX and we had a legit prescription and coupon, they made excuses of why they couldn't honor it. Therefore, we had to pay double what we should have paid for the prescription. Won't be back again and you shouldn't either, unless you want to pay higher prices for your RX for no reason. I just moved to this area so this was my first time visiting this Walgreens and my first time attempt at using Curbside pickup for my photo order. I arrived at the store to see that someone was already parked in the ONE curbside pickup order spot. They were parked crooked so the spots on either side were unusable. I ended up driving around and parking right in front of the front door. The app said to fill out my vehicle information if I wasn't able to park in the curbside spot, so I did. I see a store employee walk out with my photo order, glance at the curbside spot and walk back in. I decided to give it 5 more minutes (per the app's instructions) before calling the store. The woman who answered was very rude and *couldn't believe* that I wasn't parked in the curbside pickup spot (that was still occupied!!). I told her I was directly in front of the entrance and that I had entered all of my vehicle info into the app. She brought me my pictures and all she said to me was "well, no wonder she couldn't find you!" and walked off. Y'all need to have more than ONE curbside pickup spot if your incompetent employees are unable or unwilling to scan the basically empty parking lot for a car whose description has been provided. I can deal with ignorance if the employee is at least NICE to the CUSTOMER but the combination of ignorant and rude doesn't make for a good customer experience. I will be switching to the CVS on 620 from now on. read more

The automated system will not read back the actual numbers I type in to refill my prescription. It reads back numbers different from the ones I entered. Also, the pharmacy hours for Sunday are wrong. Frustrating. read more

I have use this Walgreens Pharmacy for over seven years. There of been a few things go right a few things go wrong nothing major but they always try to help me quickly get it fixed. I feel like I am there every day. Yes, they have long waits on the phone that will make you want to scratch your eyes out. However, I recently got sick and all the pharmacist I deal with asked me how I was doing how the kids were doing and they continue to ask me as I went through my treatment and it was really appreciated.Robin especially and also I wish I knew her name a little shorter really cute with long black hair very nice people.I was just there the other day and they said how was my son doing being that he graduated this year without any pomp and circumstance. You don't get that kind of personal service anymore makes you feel part of the community. read more

I visited this location for the first time around 10:30 on a Sunday night. The store is slightly off the main vein, located behind the mall. While the interior of the store was clean and bright, more importantly, all three employees approached me as I passed and politely asked me if I needed any assistance. I'm writing specifically about the Walgreen's Pharmacy on Bee Cave Parkway. I have been using this pharmacy for over 4 years, and I have always received great service. Robin, in particular, has researched questions for me, called me back quickly and has been so kind in helping me. I'm always grateful for the staff and their knowledge. If someone doesn't know an answer, they know where to find it. This is a job critical to the perfect attention to detail--these folks get it done. read more

Clerk thought I was with the guy who walked in before me. She carded him for cigarettes and kept asking if we were together. I had to explain to her several times and even offered to show her my ID. Same lady tried to ID me when my aunt was buying cough syrup for herself. I understand it is her job, but she is a little over the top. I'm clearly old enough to purchase anything that has an age limit on it. I had such a wonderful experience at this Walgreens today. One of my dogs has been really sick and needed some extremely expensive medication. Walgreens let me set up a prescription savings plan for her AND bring her into the store to fill out the paperwork. The savings plan cut the cost by more than 2/3 and, after having spent hundreds at the emergency vet, that help was so needed. Thank you so much to the wonderful pharmacy technician who helped me and for the wonderfully inclusive pet-friendly policies that allowed him to help my pup and I out! This Walgreens is horrible! There is a girl who works in the Pharmacy and at the drive through window - named Jessica. She is such a BITCH! She is condescending, unfriendly, terrible at customer service and just all around not happy. She is horrible to deal with. She should be put to work counting pills or sweeping the floor - NOT dealing with people. She always has an attitude at the window. For example I had a child with newly diagnosed Pneumonia. My pediatrician called in the script. I got to the drive through and Jessica told me it would be at least a 2 hour wait. I explained I had a sick child in the car and needed those meds now. The bitch that she is said " Well the MINIMUM will be 1 hour but that is only if you come in the store and wait." In that same condescending tone. She clearly did not care that I had a SICK child and had NO time to wait in the store. I called my peds and had the script sent to CVS who had it ready in 4 minutes. 4 minutes Jessica!!!! So I moved all of my scripts over to CVS. And Walgreens can thank Jessica the Bitch for losing my business. read more

I rarely post reviews but I have had several bad experiences at this Walgreens both with the photo lab and with pharmacy. With the photolab, I submitted an order back in October on line and received an email it was ready but when I went to pick it up, it wasn't so I asked when it would be ready, called at that time and still not ready. I did eventually get my order but very frustrating. Similar experience again just now, I placed an order for pictures I plan to give out with Christmas and received an email it was ready but I called and sure enough, their 8x10 machine is down so I can come pick up part of my order but the 8x10s won't be ready until after Christmas. It would be nice if someone called to let me know that so I have time to place my order somewhere else. I think that was my last order at this Walgreens. Same story on ordering refills on the phone with the pharmacy, dragging my kids to pick them up and them not being ready due to a question but no one calling me to tell me. Very frustrating. They are close to me but not close enough to put up with such poor service. read more
