My husband stopped into this location on our way somewhere while we waited in the car. It seemed to feel like forever until he returned. He said he went to make his purchase at the pharmacy counter where there was one woman working back there only. She was trying to take care of the drive thru customers, the counter as well as filling prescriptions. One person. We'll go to CVS or RiteAid in the future. read more

On my way to New Haven however need to go to the restroom so I went to this Walgreen location. I asked the first staff I saw , who was putting stuff away in the cosmetic section, for the restroom. A very nice staff who directed me politely to the restroom. Then I noticed her nice skin and nicely done eyebrows. I complemented her and asked if she does it on her own. She was very gracious and told me that on my way back from the restroom that she will show me what she uses. I was so impressed with her professionalism. So I took the opportunity of what she uses and she gladly guided me through the products. I told her that she should be hired as the beauty consultant and didn't realize that she is. Her name is Diana ( I think). She said come back because I was in hurry to an appointment and she will help me. More than 5 stars for Walgreens this location,. Staff is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Highly recommended. read more

I'm giving a solid 4 stars for store employees & the stores aesthetics. Employees are always readily available help me find something & they are very pleasant to deal with. The Manager here is a very nice guy who always goes out of his way to say hello to us. Unfortunately their pharmacy department has caused me a lot of frustration, not the employees, who are equally pleasant. I've ordered prescriptions before on more than two occasions where I had to wait because the pharmacy didn't have the drugs in stock which I've never heard of at any other pharmacy I've ever been to? Their pharmacy hours are not 24 hours & are not convenient times. Whenever I go to the drive-thru there's only one line open and there is always a bunch of cars and it takes forever to pick up or drop off. They can improve this department by maybe hiring more people and getting their second lane fixed outside. read more

Great place to take your photos off your phone and convert them to a card or picture. The machine that does this is easy to work and their is always someone around to help . read more

Generally great service from staff. The store manager is extremely courteous and has stepped into the photo department and patiently helped resolve issues I have had with photo books. read more

If you like to hang aroung and wait, this is the place for you. They seem to always have a 15- 40 minute wait when you need medicine! They must fill the phone orders before they wait on the people that actually show up in person. read more

The pharmacy at this location is horrendous. The pharmacy manager was rude and uninformed. I asked questions about my insurance that they couldn't answer, yet refused to fill my prescription. I was sent back to my doctor three times, apparently for no reason. Finally i took my prescription to CVS after 4 days and numerous headaches. CVS filled the prescription in 13 minutes. So I went to Walgreens to get whinteing strips and they were locked up so I pushed the button for cutomer assistance and then on the intercom thing it said like customer assisstance to dental and it said it 5 times and no one came and I literally had to wait 20 minutes for them to open the thing and finally after someone came after me asking the register person to open it the lady came out and didn't even say sorry for the wait. Don't use the pharmacy unless you are ok with being treated like a bother. I have been going to this Walgreen's for over 8 years now. Every year I go there for my flu shot as well as all my quick stop shopping. This year I left before getting my flu shot in utter shock at how awful Stephen the pharmacist was to myself and the customer before me. After complaining behind the counter that I was the 20th flu shot of the day and lots of huffing, he came around to give the other man his shot. We were told what an inconvenience it was to him to have to give the flu shot and that its put him behind on filling his prescriptions. His attitude was just yucky. The worse part...the woman working the counter backed up his attitude when it was brought up. I couldn't believe it. She let us know... "Well, we are 50 scripts behind". But what I want to know is... Why am I getting an attitude? I think they forget, without customers they don't have a job!!! The pharmacy could use a little training in the Customer Service area. read more
