So, I usually only go here for the pharmacy which I'd give them three stars for. The good: it's convenient because they are open 24/7. The bad: they are always screwing up scripts. No matter which Dr/office calls in a script they can never find the script and it's always the Dr's fault. Usually said Dr has to call 2-3 x's to get a script through. I've been using them for years and it has been happening the entire time. When you actually have the script in hand it's much easier and I don't usually have any issues. However, I'm reviewing today (and giving 1 star) because it really pissed me off when I went in tonight. I asked to use their bathroom (I'm 9 months pregnant and am literally having pre-labor contractions non-stop which means when I have to pee it's because my bladder is being squeezed and an accident could be imminent) and they wouldn't let me use it. She actually watched me waddle in (and seriously I can barely move right now I have to hold my belly to walk it hurts so much) and turned me down cold. Now that's cruelty. read more

Talk about shitty customer service, from the rude cashiers to the manipulative b... at the camera/Western Union section, they all are real pieces of work. They wasted over an hour of my time and at the end basically told me "go f... yourself". First, the lady at Western Union section blindly told me they couldn't help me because the date of birth on my profile is different than what is on my ID and that I should contact the customer service myself as she couldn't change anything herself. then after 20 min on the call with their customer service they toled me that the dates have been correct all along! When I came back to them, none of them did my transaction this time saying our system goes down at 9 sharp (time being, 9:03) and I mentioned their fuckup and that they have wasted my time, all shoulders and no apologies what so ever. What does it take to get this Westlake Walgreens to hire qualified people in the pharmacy. Call there 10 times phone rings and rings then someone hangs up then you start over again. Spoke with assistant store manager today, Sally and she informed me this is first time she receive complaints. Suggested I look in my phone call history and give her every time I called today so she can figure out which employee wasn't answering the phones. Now that's a new one. You mean the service is so bad they had to install a monitoring system for their employees. Well guess what it's not working. Then when Sally was able to get me thru, Ahmed not sure of correct spelling she was hard to understand. After 10 mins of her getting my birthdate incorrect and the spelling of my last name she finally found my records and ask me what I wanted urgently as if she was very busy. I have been waiting for a important prescription I needed, someone had been faxing my request to my old primary doctor who retired 6 months ago. How was I getting the rest of my 5 medications from new doctor for 3months. I notified them twice of my new doctor. I give up, please what can I do. westlake walgreens- dr, sends in prescription on 12/27/2021. i call the same day to verify receipt of prescription. upon verification, i request same day delivery of meds as listed on their web site. it says same day delivery, 1-2 day delivery, all free. long story short, it is now thurs. and no delivery. they speak broken english, where you can hardly understand them. they don't know what there own website says ABOUT FREE DELIVERY!! terrible pharmacy dept. Our health insurance provider requires that we have our BMI, blood pressure, cholesterol, and glucose measured. As home-based employees, Walgreens -- as a partner organization -- is our best option for having this done. There's an online appointment system, on Walgreens' own site. We made and confirmed our appointments days ago for 8:30 and 9:00 this morning, and fasted beforehand as required. I took time off from work. We got to the Walgreens at 8:20 to be told that they don't see anyone before 11:00 regardless of having an appointment or not, and that we'd have to come back; I can't afford to take more time off today, after they've already wasted the hour I had gotten permission to take off this morning, especially with no assurance that they'll even see me in a timely fashion if I just show up when they wouldn't honor an actual confirmed appointment. And we could overhear a very surly pharmacist complaining about us having shown up with appointments to the technician to whom we'd presented our paperwork when we arrived and whom he made send us away rather than even talking to us ourselves (we'd just seen this same pharmacist a few minutes earlier being extremely impatient with an elderly man who was there to get a prescription refilled, as well). read more

I been coming here for 9 years and with all the changes and stores going in and out of business i am glad Walgreens still stand strong. the workers are very nice specially Alfredo at the picture counter everyone is so nice. and always so helpful. its always clean as well and its open 24 hour i love it! parking is rough but i am glad it is because that means people love it there too. :) read more

THIS PHARMACY IS THE WORST EVER!!! If I could give Zero stars, I would. They don't even deserve the one star!! Pick up a prescription for pain and they shorted me 10 pills. When I called they said they had to do an inventory and when I went in to pick up, they said they had the right count. I told them they have someone filling the prescriptions that's pocketing pills!! Another time, I dropped off a prescription on a Friday night, when back on Saturday and they said they didn't have such prescription. Then they said they didn't fill it because it wasn't covered. I mean, come on!! I've never heard of a pharmacy conducting business like this. THEY ARE IDIOTS!!!! If you try to call, you will not get through. So I went here yesterday to get some medicine for my little brother. He was having a fever and his cold was pretty bad...I needed to get children's tylenol for him because it really works for him. So I walk in there and go to the pharmacy section only to find myself lost in all the medications. I had trouble looking for the childrens tylenol so I called for help from the workers. The lady helped me very well and I was very thankful. I told her my brother's exact symptoms and conditions. She listened very patiently and helped me out right away. I now have the tylenol I want and I am very happy with the service I received. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

I used to come here all the time and still do. I usually come here and grab some snacks for my lunch at work. I recently came here to buy some kettle honey Dijon chips. It's seriously my new favorite chips. I usually buy it at work but got the bigger bag here. Also, when I'm craving some sweets like candy, I come here. Usually it's 3/$3 but now it's 4/$5. I even love how the line is NEVER long unlike the other Walgreens I've been too. Only thing is missing is a Redbox haha. read more

There are only 2 good things about this walgreens: it's right next to starbucks and it's 24 hrs. Other than that everything is awful especially the so called "managers or manager on duty." I've been to this location multiple times as it os the closest one by home but let me tell you today's experience was the worst. This filipino lady (manager on duty) with a constipated look on her face by the name of Judy gave me so much attitude because I wanted to use the coupon in the February coupon book and it was not scanning. Fmy item matched the item described in the fine print but she gave me a hard time because I was going to end up payong 3 bucks for something priced at 11. Big friggin deal!!! I'm not the one that printed the ad dumbass! Obviously your marketing department was aware of any profit or loss prior to including it into the sales plan. Do your friggin job and make the customers happy. Learn how to read 2 sentences within 5 darn minutes jeez. When I opened my mouth to tell her what I took from reading the ad, she interrupted me and said in a hostile voice "can I read it?? Its great ypu know how to read." How is this employee still working for the company? Leading by example would meam teaching all associates to treat guests like punk kids and get smart with them. I was always waiting forever for them to fill it properly. They never updated their computers and once even claimed that they annouced for my wife and I over the intercom, which both of us never even heard....so we were there an extra 25 minutes. went here to get insulin for diabetes, told guy who took my script.. I haven't eaten because I need this medication first... and then preceded to wait 1.5 hours. He told me when I turned it in it would be 45 min., they were very busy. After an hour I went up and asked when my stuff would be ready, after a bit of a scramble, turns out it wasn't turned in. (Guy felt bad)... Still had to wait another 30 min. The pharmacist was the rudest pharmacist I've ever seen. Yelling at patients and letting her favorite customers cut in a very long line. Avoid this pharmacy if you value your sanity. Or your health. They almost never fill a prescription completely, forcing customers to return multiple times to retrieve their medicine. But you'll consider yourself lucky to get anything at all after a while. In a recent trip, of the 4 people in line ahead of me, 3 were told their prescription was not ready, even though they'd received emails or text messages that it was ready. They were told to wait in the store for an additional 30 minutes(!). The 4th person was an elderly woman, who received a partial prescription; her complaints that it was difficult for her to travel to the store fell on deaf ears. The pharmacist has actually told me in person that the store computer deliberately understocks medicines in order to save money. Causing inconvenience to customers is irrelevant. I have no idea how this pharmacy remains in business, given that their customer service motto is, "Thank you! May I have another?" read more

Seriously the pharmacist tech here are useless! I couldn't get a refill on my meds because for some reason my insurance wont cover it. Okay fine. But then they call me four times to tell me my prescription is ready. Im super stoked thinking that maybe my insurance came through. But apparently they just made the refill thinking i'll pay out of pocket! So when i called the pharmacy to verify why they called the pharmacist tech tells me with her attitude that if i really wanted the meds so bad i should just pay for them. All i was doing was asking her info for why my insurance would do that thinking she would have some idea. But instead she doesn't want to deal with me and tells me shes too busy helping someone else and hung up on me. She also refused to tell me her name. You can even just take your memory card here too I believe! And put it into their photo making machine. They have a whole variety of food here, a lot bigger than your average walgreens. I work in the same shopping center as this Walgreens so I will often swing by and pick something up before or after work. It's pretty straight forward, your basic drug store. One day I went in looking for some hair product. I'm not very metro so I don't know a ton about these things. I was very impressed when a store employee approached me and asked what I was looking for. She then walked me over to the right section and then proceeded to make suggestions talked to me about price comparisons and even told me I could try one of the products for a week and if I didn't like it I could bring it back. For a guy who knows very little about hair care products this was not only very helpful, but professional and friendly. Good job Walgreens! read more
