You can just pick from a variety in a balloon coral. They can also fill them up too. They offer many options in store . If you need images printed from your phone to display in real life they offer great prices. You can do it all over the internet and then pick it up at your convenience. They make it simple . I can actually do it unsupervised. Yay! For those special occasions that you need down time. They sell bubble bath stuff at really nice prices. They have the candles for burning . This Walgreens on Eastern & Horizon is absolutely dreadful. The staff shows no care or empathy for patients, and the pharmacy never seems to get prescriptions ready on time. The lines are longer than an amusement park, and every visit feels like a slow, painful ordeal. If I had known beforehand, I would have gone to Costco or CVS. The woman pharmacist there is absolutely in the wrong career! My first interaction with the store in over 10 plus years. I called to transfer my prescription to a cvs and she automatically tells me it's not in yet. With out asking any information she just says "it's not in that fast" . Automatically I said well you don't know what time I called it in.. can you check ? She says it's not in. After so many asks I demand that she just check her system. Surprisingly, it's there !!! She makes no apologies for it and just is silent on the phone. I make sure to do her job and get it sent to the right place. She does not send it over. Finally I speak to different a kind pharmacist who sends it immediately while I'm on the phone. THE SECOND incident, because she clearly holds grudges! My son's prescription apparently isn't available until the next day! Late that day I call to move the prescription yet again to a different pharmacy that will carry it and is open later . I'm on hold for over 35 minutes to hear her voice pick up then immediately put me on hold again . I'm on hold for that 15 and she then hangs up on me !!! No call back or care at all! My ex husband calls the electronic system and then finds out the most important antibiotic is ready! Please find a new pharmacist. This review is for their pharmacy. Here's the backstory: Both my kids had strep throat so I had their antibiotic prescription sent to a different Walgreens location closer to my house. I received an email stating that they had run out of amoxicillin and was given the option to pick up at another location. First of all, how the heck do you run out of such a basic antibiotic like amoxicillin?!?! Anyway, I chose this location instead since it was the next closest one to me. I received a phone call from a pharmacy tech and she informed me that she had received the prescription transfer from the other Walgreens location. She even asked if I'd like the amoxicillin to be flavored since she noticed it was for my kids. Yes please!!! And what awesome customer service!! I was prepared to wait 20+ minutes in the drive-thru since that's what I'm used to at the other location. I pull up, and to my surprise, NO LINE!!! I had their meds and drove off in less than 5 minutes. I'm so sick of the crappy customer service and wait times at the other location. This will definitely be my new Walgreens even if it's not the closest. read more

This Walgreens has been my go to pharmacy since I moved to Henderson in 2000. Upon returning to Henderson after a few years living in Arizona, this Walgreens had issues with my credit card on file multiple times despite my changing the billing address online and in person multiple times. It was very frustrating. This past week my wife and I came down with a sore throat and cold after a short trip to a cold and rainy Chicago. Instead of going in the Walgreens and shopping for medicine to help ease our symptoms, we believed we would spread less germs by ordering online and picking up our package of medicine. I ordered seven items online for $60+ on a Thursday afternoon. I received a confirmation email for my order. One hour later, I received an email stating there was a delay in fulfilling my order. Almost 4 hours later and shortly before Walgreens closed, I received an email saying they could not fulfill my order and were canceling it. When I made my online order, all seven items were shown to be in stock at the store. I do not understand why Walgreens could not fulfill my order even partially. Friday morning I placed a similar order online through CVS on Green Valley Parkway. It was ready for pick up in 47 minutes. read more

I've been on hold for 45 minutes with the pharmacy. Someone keeps picking up then puts me back on hold without saying a word. every time I try to get my prescription filled, I never hear from them. When I go there they tell me they have been trying to run it through my insurance. 5 times now I told them I Do Not have insurance, yet they keep making the same mistake. I moved my prescriptions from Smiths where the customer service is great, because walgreen sis closer but I'm so frustrated with them, I'm moving everything back. Just terrible read more

This is a nice, large Walgreens. They are very helpful with prescriptions. There is a good selection of many items in the store. Parking is ample. You can get flu shots and other immunizations in a little private room. If you've been to a Walgreens, you know what they're about. They do a good job here. read more

On Saturday I scheduled a Covid test for Monday. I wanted to be tested before I returned to work on Wednesday. And my scheduled appointment and the person at the window tells me that they don't have any more test. You have scheduled appointments! How do you not have any more test?! she said they have "trying to get ahold of those with appointments." They did not. No call or email. I asked if there is another location they could send me to and she said I'd have to make another appointment online. Right now these appointments are booking out two days in advance. That would mean I shouldn't return to work until I can show a negative Covid test. I should have to use my sick days because Walgreens is not prepared for their appointments? My husband and I went to this Walgreens yesterday to get our booster. So very disappointed that the people that work there like Kelsey was inputting our information when she sees her dentist come in for a prescription for his dog. She made us wait at least 10 minutes cause she was concerned that he wouldn't take her insurance. I don't feel that was appropriate at that time. Just my opinion. The nice woman Rhonda that gave us our shots apologized over & over. The workers there are very rude. The lines inside & outside in their cars wait & wait. Go somewhere else for ALL your vaccines! I scheduled my 1st shingles vaccine here online. Showed up at my appt time, and was told "you're not in the system", explained I scheduled online. Was asked for my confirmation- showed her the text confirmation. No, she wants the email confirmation...okay, showed her that too. Then she plays on the computer, says she will put me in. I explain I am here for shingles, NOT COVID, she says fine. Then she tells me there will be large copay? Really? My insurance 100% covers all vaccines, so I ask if she has my insurance properly loaded? She gives me the name of an insurance co I've never had and never even heard of. She then takes my insurance card and corrects this info, and I now have 0 copay. Okay fine... I'm given paperwork to complete and wait for pharmacist. I hand paperwork back at the window and remind them I am here for shingles, not COVID (there was more confusion). A few minutes later, I am called into clinical booth for vaccine. Pharmacist has Pre-filled syringe and proceeds to provide patient consult.... Vaccine risks are all similar, but it sounds like he is reading the COVID vaccine risks and what to expect. So I say, you know I am here for shingles, not COVID, right?!?! Nope- the vaccine in his hand and ready to be injected is COVID. He stammers, and apologizes? asks me to step out. A few minutes later, I am called back to clinical booth- ask again, are you sure this is shingles this time? Finally get my correct vaccine. Told I will need 2nd shingles shot in 2-6 months. I Left frustrated, annoyed but Just assumed they were having a bad day. We all do, give them some grace. 2 months later, I am due for 2nd shingles vaccine. I schedule appt online and have VERY similar experience - AGAIN!!! I arrive, go to counter, say I am here for my SHINGLES vaccine. He asks if I am walk-in- they have vaccine available and can take me. Huh... I explain, no I scheduled online...he says, nope you are not on my sheet. Looks in computer, still doesn't find me, says that's okay... they have avail vaccine. I explain all the problems the last time I was here and the confusion over the COVID vaccine when I was there for SHINGLES...he nods. He then asks, when I got my last vaccine- 2 months ago. He asks where? Ummmm...I say here. Hmmmm.. he cannot find it in the system. Asks if I brought my previous vaccine card, no, do I need to go get it? Lots of stammering, licking on computer..walks away, comes back. Pharmacist then comes over and asks me to look up the state vaccine website for proof of the 1st vaccine... while I am doing this (holding up the line behind me) I tell pharmacist of all the issues last time with COVID/shingles confusion. He stops, says wait...what vaccine are you here for??? I tell him SHINGLES (3 rd time telling pharmacy - AFTER scheduling online with confirmation) and he says well THAT'S the problem!! Staff finally finds my previous vaccine in the computer and proceeds to hand me paperwork to complete. I am called into the clinical booth a few minutes later for my vaccine. I felt compelled to confirm this is SHINGLES vaccine, right?!?!? Yes, he has a pretty-filled syringe in his hand...but then notices the dose is too much? And he removes some of the vaccine into a gauze bandage, saying that's better. Two awful pharmacy experiences...different staff each time. Oh sheesh... they have totally lost my confidence in providing quality healthcare. I've also been to CVS down the street for vaccines and had No problems- save yourself and just go there!! read more

Pretty sure CVS must have bought Walgreens or that's what it seems like anyway. The pharmacy here went from great, to us switching all of our prescriptions over to another pharmacy. The staff are completely rude and could care less about customer service. When my prescription was sent over by my doctor, it said it was "delayed" and nothing else was required on my part. I waited 5 days, and when I called to find out what the heck was going on the girl who answered acted like I was bothering her, and then told me that they just couldn't get it. My prescription was very common, not to mention my husband takes the same exact thing and picked his up a week before no problem! That was it. No help. No direction. Nothing. I pulled my prescriptions out of there so fast. And I might pay a tiny bit but these days customers are not going to just put up with terrible service, there is plenty of other options. DO NOT GET YOUR VACCINE HERE. My second injection was botched... immediately, I felt horrible pain in my hand and fingers. I waited the 15 minutes, asked the pharmacist, and they literally glanced at the band-aid that the injector slapped on my arm and said "Sorry, it looks about right.". I went to the pharmacy pick up window at Walgreens, Hampton Rd and Sun City Anthem Pkwy, Henderson NV this morning. I arrived at 9:42AM there were 2 cars ahead of me. After waiting 15 minutes, now 9:57AM I called the pharmacy to ask if there was a problem at the pick up window. The reply was that they were doing a COVID-19 test and they take a while. There are 2 drive in windows at this location but the 2nd one is closed. I asked why they don't just open that and have a dedicated COVID line and the reply was "it's an old store and very expensive to start using the 2nd lane again". Really? Apparently it's ok to inconvenience multiple other customers to service one COVID test instead of opening the 2nd lane or just having COVID appointment inside only. This is a big mistake on Walgreens part. I have been a retail manager of 21 locations in the past and I can tell you this is not good management. Also, the very nice person at the window said she has heard my suggestions before and passed them on but nothing changed. I finally got my prescription at 10:07AM...a full 25 minutes after getting on line. Calling this a pick up window is definitely false advertising. read more

After she saw that there was glitch in the system, she told us she would refill and then excused us say we don't want to wait. After we already have been there for 30mins. Have been waiting for 4 hours for my 1 year olds prescription to be filled only to be told on the 4th hour that one of the prescriptions will not be available until tomorrow at 2 p.m. because they don't have it. I went to get my annual flu vaccine tonight. Both the pharmacy tech & pharmacist were professional & customer focused. They have a new private room for injections. I sat down & started to pull up my shirt so the female pharmacist could get to my deltoid area of my arm. To my horror I see a BIG video dome right above the room which didn't have a ceiling. Poor pharmacy signage for vaccinations. Sign with arrow around the corner for vaccination check in and medication pick up. Noticed a very long line. Asked customers if they were waiting to check in for an appointment. Was told "no" by multiple customers in line. Walked to the window to ask where to check in for scheduled appointment vaccination. Pharmacy tech rolled her eyes and said very loudly, "did you just cut in front of all those people? " Told her I asked and just wanted to know where to check in. She very rudely and loudly said, "stand in line." Like come on. Fix your signage and just answer a simple question. I have no problem waiting my turn, but was not clear if people with appointments needed to let the pharmacy know that they were there. CVS has signs for lines to drop off, pick up, consultation, and appointment. About 10 mins later, the same pharmacy tech member walked along the long line of customers saying she's going on her break. She said, "that's what I told them, but I'm not coming back." Laughed and said, "have a good evening everyone!" There were so many people in line. Once checked in, I was told that it would be few mins and the pharmacist would be out. A few mins was actually over an hour past the scheduled appointment. While waiting, the Manager came up to the pharmacy and asked the staff, "are we not answering phone calls today?" She asked the question twice then said, "I have a very irate lady on the line." Bottom line...incredibly rude staff, poor organization, and sub-par customer service. This store is very not coupon-friendly. The do not know the difference between per purchase vs per transaction. The beauty cashier Sierra is very ignorant regarding coupons. She wouldn't take a manufacturer's coupon because they are "paper." Aren't coupons papers? I just wish they will have a crash course about coupon verbiage. read more

I just have to say a HUGE THANK YOU to pharmacist Phillip!!! I had been out of town and needed prescriptions filled for an out of state surgery. I submitted them on a Saturday and they needed verification. He assured me he will call first thing Monday so I could catch my plane that night for surgery the next day. By 10am I received the kindest phone call letting me know he was working on the medications and would have them ready by 11am so I could make my flight. He also wished me well for the upcoming surgery. This kind of service and thoughtfulness is so over the top.
