The pharmacist at this location is not suited for the role. On October 17, 2025, at around 7:30 p.m., I asked to refill my prescription, and the pharmacist said they did not have the drug in their stock. I simply asked her to find a Walgreens that has this medication because they have information about the stock of medications at each location. She said it would take too much time to open the app and tell me which location had the medication. Basically, she said, "F@$ck off. I'm too lazy to do my job, and I'm not going to waste my time on things that are part of my job." It seems that this pharmacy is an example of Walgreens' very high standards. I had to go to another Walgreens, where they found the medication in 10 minutes and transferred my prescription. Just stay away from this Walgreens pharmacy. read more

The worst pharmacy I've ever come across. I rarely yelp businesses and it takes a lot for me to feel the need to. Customer service is poor, they have no sense of urgency, and don't take into consideration that for some, the medications can be life or death. They fill scripts that were already filled less than a week prior and " forget" to fill what's actually needed and requested. I have a 8 month old that's vent dependent and uses a feed pump . Not making him more important than others , just stating their screw ups cause great unnecessary stress and I'm not surprised that anyone else would have complaints. From the pharmacist to the techs. This is a 24 hour location, hence the four stars. The staff is very friendly and greet you as you walk through the door. The wait in the pharmacy varies. I believe I have it down to a science; early weekday mornings before 7:45 am is a good time to get in and out of the drive thru. Their sales on beauty items is usually why I stop in. Items are usually buy one get one half off. Coupons in their ads make their prices comparable to larger stores (Target/Walmart) without the hassle of long lines and huge stores. read more

Run in opposite direction!!!! The only reason I used to go here was 24/7 pharmacy but ever since they got robbed, they open til 11 pm. So, really no reason not to switch. Every single time for the past year it takes on average 1 hour waiting in car line or in person. So I have plenty of time to analyze their problems. They have a lot of customers and also, they are incredibly slow. Combination of both will make even the most patient person go into full blown psychosis. Today, as I am yet again waiting for simple antibiotic to be filled, I am watching those employees sharing one stapler. They walk around looking for it and that takes additional time on top of the fact that every single step of prescription processing take five min. Very disappointing experience on 4/23 evening , Didn't have a script needed in stock which was understandable but the pharmacist working closing shift was extremely passive aggressive and rude. She was in a rush to close everything by 10:59 as if she had plans to be somewhere by 11:01. When I was a teenager my father was a pharmacist. He prided himself on customer service, "the most important thing you do is serve the customer as the customer needs. He never closed for lunch. He was open seven days each week. Even had a delivery service for customers that were immobilized due age or medical. He would have your prescription delivered to your home. I like Walgreens. I don't know why exactly, but I always find stuff here that I need...and by need I mean really want. Yummy candy and snacks, new nail polish, lots of makeup, etc. Typically I just come here to pick up my prescriptions, as I love the convenience of being able to pick them up 24 hours a day, because it always seems like I can't get there between 8-5. So that is definitely a plus! Everything else is higher priced than other places, so that's not so great, and sometimes the lines are long, especially in the pharmacy area; that's one of the reasons I don't shop here on a regular basis. Especially with Kroger pretty much right next door. The people are usually friendly, but because of the high prices I don't really go here much, but when I do, it's almost always a good experience! read more

After dealing with the rude guy working at the Kroger pharmacy next door, we ran over here to get a prescription filled. It took 10 minutes and was $13 cheaper than how much the man at Kroger said it would cost. Not a huge issue, but they did seem to need another staff member working in the pharmacy. Otherwise though, they were polite, quick, and efficient. I do see many negative reviews here. Maybe people expect too much, maybe I caught them on a good day. This location is pretty awful. I am new to the area, and I haven't needed a pharmacy since I've lived here until now. When I first walked in, I was greeted nicely, and the retail area seemed well stocked and clean. Because of this I was unprepared for the disaster that is the pharmacy. First, they are obviously horribly understaffed. It was a Friday night at the only 24-hour pharmacy around and I only saw two staff member in the whole place. Also, after I went through the whole process of giving all my information I was informed that they were severely backed up and my RX would take over 3 hours. My RX was for pain meds for dental work, and I was in obvious severe pain. The tech let me go through that whole precess, and never let on that it would take so long to get the RX filled until it was too late. Not cool. It's the only 24-hour pharmacy that i know of in the area, so for and emergency it's my only option, but for a regular RX, I will NEVER go here again. That's sad, because I always used to use Walgreens. read more

Pharmacy is pretty bad here. They will misplace your prescription and waste your time. They do not give courtesy calls to let you know that they may be out of stock on the medication until you get there. There is typically a long wait, peak times I've almost waited one hour. Sometimes they tell you it will be ready at a certain time only to come back and be told it will take another hour plus.They offer no excuses, help, or assistance when they mess up and waste your time. This walgreens has the worst pharmacy I've ever had the misfortune too wait in line for. After being told my meds would be ready in 45 minutes. I would not even give them a star but I had to. I grew up and have lived in the Clear Lake area for 45 years. I am saddened that the pharmacist and their training totally fails when it comes to common sense I was sick and Kelsey Seybold called in my prescription to Walgreens. I called an hour and half later and waited on the phone for twenty minutes for them to tell me they didn't receive it. I called Kelsey and they sent it again. I then called Walgreens and waited another very long time and they said they had received it.It was 3:45pm at that time and the pharmacists stated that she didn't have enough pills to fill my prescription. I asked her how many she had and she stated that she had 8. I asked her if she could fill the 8 and my other prescription and what time could we pick it up. She stated 30-40 minutes. My husband shows up at Walgreens an hour later and the cashier is telling him that they are out of stock and that the cough syrup was not covered under our insurance. She begins to tell my husband to go to a CVS (who does not even honor our insurance.) I think it is deplorable that these people think they are doing a good job. I am fortunate to pay for medicine out of my own pocket and not complain about it. It is wrong for this Pharmacy and it's techs to just assume that just because my insurance won't pay for it then that means that I will not pay for it. We desperately and happily would pay for it. She/they could easily have picked up the phone to call and ask if they were concerned. At 5:00 pm they are still arguing with my husband that they don't have the medicine. I finally was able to get the pharmacist on the phone and explained the above injustice and she stated that she was sorry. My husbands says "don't go there anymore." Easier said then done. 1. People are sick and come to you for a service, to get medicine they need to get better or to relive pain from suffering. There are people that are much worse than I. I can't imagine anyone having to go through this bad service, training, & compassion. 2. Take pride in your work. Do your job to be the best you can be to help people, not alienate them, Not everyone chooses to shop at Walgreens but some are forced to for insurance reasons. 3. This is a busy store, so staff it properly. It's obvious that Walgreen's is here to make money and this store could make so much more money. read more

So, I'm actually here right now waiting for my passport photos to develop at 10:30 at night! Yep, I needed my passport photos at this time of night. Well, I came up here looking for assistance to the photo area just like a few others do to the high volume at the front of the store for customers to check out. I met this young lady , and I believe she said her name was Chassity - who I found later to be someone actually at the computer applying for a job here was helping me and a few other people who needed assistance and guiding them. I Yelp a decent amount , and I have worked in customer service for a large portion of all of my jobs but if you all don't give her a chance at an interview y'all are missing out. While you guys were busy she took on the role and started directing people. She probably won't know I did this ever but hopefully it reaches someone in the right place. :) Good Luck Ma'am! read more
