I will NEVER again set foot inside this Walgreens. Not only did one of their managers accuse me of changing the price on an item for my benefit by saying, "How do I know you didn't change the price." That's a direct quote. This stemmed from the fact that the item I had taken off their shelf was sitting above what their management staff claimed was the wrong price and that items "get moved by people" (meaning consumers) and it's not their fault I thought it was the price under the item when clearly it was not. How is a consumer to know this if the store staff does not remain vigilant about their merchandise? I work in retail, and if I have a mislabeled item, regardless of what it rings up at, I have to respect the posted price. This was not the case! Both of the managers at this location refused to accept the price on the shelf. Instead they took on a condescending tone and explicitly told me I was wrong for assuming the item I had taken of their shelf was 1) the price their sticker said but 2) that they would ever discount something down. Neither manager apologized for the blatant error, they simply came out to tell me how they would never lower the price and that it was my mistake for assuming the product was that price. The most diarispectful thing was when the store manager accused me of moving the price. At that point I told him to pull tape and he immediately went to get the general manger. How dare a store manager accuse someone of this?! As if I needed to "save money! I will now gladly drive to the Rite Aid on 18th & Wilshire even though I am less than 5 minutes from this Walgreens on Olympic & Barrington!!! read more

This Walgreens has been here for about a year now and I love that I can go to TJ's and a pharmacy at the same time. It is smaller than most drugstores, however, I find it extremely well organized and very rarely does it have empty shelves. I work just down the street and the staff have always been friendly. The standout in this drugstore are the pharmacists themselves. All of them have been great, but I've gotta say, Becky is a stand-out! She's knowledgeable, handled long lines efficiently and politely and one time when I was checking in on the availability of multiple medications, she was incredibly patient. When you're shopping at TJ's and you need your prescriptions filled, this is the Walgreens' to go to! read more

This is my second visit at the Walgreens on Olympic, and I honestly have nothing but great things to say about this store. My parents and I came here to get a flu shot earlier today and this was our second visit. The first time was great, and this time, was just as good. Unlike CVS where they only offer the flu shots Monday, Tues, and Friday w/o appt and Thurs w/ appoint only (Palisades store that is), it was convenient to go in without making prior arrangements. The pharm tech, both Nancy and Eva, are super friendly and make things at ease. Got the flu shots done and out of there within a half hour at tops. I'm definitely coming back...an A+ store on my list! read more

Ralph's, 7/11, and trader joes are all near by which is great! Not the largest walgreens I've been to, but it's very organized and clean. It was really easy to navigate around the store; I found what I needed quickly and efficiently. read more

The only place within driving distance (20 minutes) from my house that had lighter fluid in stock. Auto Zone, CVS, Lowes (which is a freaking hardware store!) - none of them had any in stock. Called them up beccause why not, and they assured me that they did have lighter fluid in stock. Drove over there, picked it up for ~$5, just 20 minutes shy of them closing (10pm). Can't speak for the rest of the store, but after searching high and low for something that should be stupid easy to find, Walgreens came through. read more

Walgreens has great deals on their generic medications. The pharmacist is helpful and nice. She'll answer questions and will give recommendations for over-the-counter meds. This location is clean and organized. They also have good deals during the holiday season for gift ideas, toys, etc. I like this location because you can get in and out quickly. They also have good deals on photo prints. read more

This place is pretty awesome. Why you say? I know it's just a Walgreens. However, this is one of the cleanest & best organized Walgreens I've seen. On top of that the location is what makes it. This Walgreens shares space & parking in a building with Trader Joe's. & right across the small side street is a Ralph's. If you plan your shopping right you can hit all 3 stores in one stop. The traffic & parking are a little crazy here & like anything else off a main road like Olympic, rush hour shopping can be a nightmare. Also understand it's a small staff. You might have to wait a little in line. I know, I know, Beverly Hills people. You're in a hurry. What a coincidence, so are the 30 other people in the line who were here before you. Completely horrible customer service. I placed an online photo order at 4:30, and the email said the estimated pick up time was 530. I get that it's just an estimate, but I stopped there on my way home around 545 to see if it was ready yet. They told me it would be about 40 more minutes. So I went home and had dinner and gave them not 40 minutes but two more hours. Usually I get an email when it's ready, and no email has arrived yet. I don't want to drive all the way there again just to find out it's not finished yet, so I tried calling the store to get an update. A girl named Catherine answered the phone and when I told her I was calling to check on a photo order, she put me on hold. I was on hold for so long that the phone started ringing again. She answered again and said her name was Catherine, and I told her I was still the same person trying to check on a photo order. She asked me to hold a second time. And didn't even bother to apologize or explain anything. I was again on hold for so long that the phone finally started ringing a third time. This time she picked it up and didn't say anything except please hold and put me right back on hold again. I waited for another long span of time and finally gave up and hung up the phone. This is the worst customer service I've had in a long time. You don't just keep repeatedly putting customers on hold without talking to them, or explaining what's going on. At the very least you could tell me that you are backed up or that you can't find the person who works at the photo counter and take my number and offer to call me back once you're ready. But don't just keep putting me on hold. What is wrong with you? read more

just tried to deposit my rent money into my chime checking account, like i ALWAYS do because if you use chime you know that walgreens is the only place to make cash deposits. the cashier told me i can only deposit $750... which doesn't even make sense because how else i have been paying my rent the last two years??? yes, you can only deposit $500 at a time, but i have NEVER been told i can only deposit $500 & then do a separate deposit of $250... i've always been able to make the 4 deposits of $500... every other walgreens i've been to at least. but yeah that literally doesn't even make sense. i could tell the cashier just didn't want to deal with me because i know it's kind of an annoying process but you're getting paid by the hour & it's your job... i don't wanna do my job either but i don't lie just so i can be lazy. should i forward my late fee to walgreens??? not cool guys... do better. read more

This pharmacy is so frustrating. The problems with it are consistent. They need to change the way it operates. Stand in a slow line just to drop something off, to stand in line again to pick it up. Today a tech was helping a customer at the register for at least 45 minutes, still there when I left, so who knows...id like to just say to them dont work out cumbersome insurance issues at the register, hire someone to do that in a consult room. I am new to yelp and I wanted to give this Walgreen's location a review because the pharmacist was so friendly.

I am giving this Walgreens 5 stars for answering their phones. I have been to other busy pharmacies that don't even answer. Spoke to a nice staff member today. Wish I got her name, but she took the time to figure out why I did not have any refills left on my rx when I thought I should have. It turned out that it was just entered into the computer wrong because the doctors handwriting was hard to read. Thanks for returning my phone call like you said you would instead of just automatically telling me to contact the doctor myself. You see the doctor that wrote the prescription has never called me back even with important lab test results. Sometimes, it takes a awhile waiting in line to pick up my rx, but that is because they are the taking time make sure its done right. read more

Worst pharmacy in history. Staff is not knowledgable and definitely does not have patients in mind when making recommendations. No attention to insurance details is given and hours are sporadic. Go anywhere else but this Pharmacy. I have been through hell trying to get a prescription filled. I have been to the Walgreens in Las Vegas on Fort Apache and Tropicana 4 times today and once three days ago. They could not fill my prescription and sent me to one of their other locations on fort Apache and Desert Inn. I pay cash for my prescriptions and was ready to pay the posted price of $217 for 9 tablets. I went to the same company Walgreens up the street to get the identical prescription and they wanted to charge me over $500 for the same exact prescription. This has more to do with greed on the Pharmacy managers part and not the actual price of the prescription. DO NOT USE WALGREENS, THEY ARE NOT CUSTOMER FOCUSED AND RENEGE ON THEIR PRICING!! read more

My review is consistent with others is that THIS PHARMACY IS HORRIBLE. I dropped off two prescriptions. They told me both were ready to fill. After 10 minutes they said neither were. Fine. But the pharmacist told me that they were, but then when his manager was behind him, he claimed he didn't say that. Whatever. They told me they had to order the medication and they would call me. I got a text four days later saying my prescription was ready. I went in to pick it up, and not so shockingly it wasn't ready. I spoke to a manager AGAIN who told me she was so sorry but it actually wasn't available, and they would call me in the next few days when it was in. Flash forward to a week later and NO ONE HAD CALLED ME. I called the pharmacy, and my prescription had been ready for a few days with NO CALL OR TEXT TO ME AS PROMISED. So at this point I'm so frustrated. It's been two weeks since I dropped the prescription off. I told them I wouldn't be able to pick it up before a weeklong trip I was going on tomorrow, leaving me without my medication for a week. The manager promised me 10 dollars in rewards (LUCKY ME!). While on vacation, i get a passive aggressive call from the pharmacy saying that "my prescription has been ready for days and no one has picked it up". I called the pharmacist back promptly and said this was a problem THEY caused. I was again met with attitude. Senny (Suni?) and Joanna were the pharmacist and manager I spoke to, respectively. My doctor called into Walgreens for a prescription needed for a C-Section, but it wan't ready yet because of missing information needed. My pharmacist Shabnam was amazing! She quickly got the missing information and dispensed the medicine for me within minutes. She clearly explained the medications and directions and answered all my questions throughly. Fastest I have ever been inside a pharmacy. I will definitely go to this Walgreens again as long as Shabnam is working there! read more

The "Photo Department " was very "unprofessional". The employees were not only well trained but were rude. I spent more than $400.00 for developing my photo prints. I was "very disappointed." The photos were dark and little red. My enlargement photos were "cut-off." It seemed to me that their photo associates "does not even check." They just do "merge prints." I also ordered "index prints" that was delivered "incomplete " and "CD" that was "not done" at all. What was even worse, the CD they gave to me was "wrong". It had the "wrong pictures " not the one that I had ordered. I had to come 4 times to correct the problem just to know that their machine does not have the remaining pages of my index prints and they cannot make my CD. The manager "did not" even offer a "refund" for the CD that I did not receive. I had to come back for the 5th time to get my refund. Which again, I had to come back 2 times because the amount the manager gave to me the first time was of course..... Incorrect again! I demanded to be compensated for the time and stress of going back and forth to this store. All the manager gave to me was "10,000 rewards points." Only that?!? I spent more than $400.00 and had to come back a total of "5 times" to correct the problem, which they DID NOT EVEN RESOLVE. Very, very disappointed. I will NEVER come back to this Walgreens. I had a really good experience with a pharmacist named Shana.  I have had to spend a ton of time at this pharmacy and have seen that she manages a huge patient load and is really fast and efficient. She was busy but took the extra time to be really through with everything I needed. She is sharp as a tack and I just wanted to show her some love on here! read more

A woman was trying to get her senior discount for some lightbulbs, the man behind the counter insisted over and over that he could not help her, only a manager could. By the fifth or sixth time he repeated himself I jumped in and requested that he actually call the manager instead of continuing to aggravate the customer. The manager finally shows and ignores the lady and tries to help me instead. I insisted that he help her first and I was gong to wait until she was done. He said the man behind the counter seemed to be handling it just fine. Oh really? I just heard him say 6 times that he needed a manager. What kind of circus are they running. No lightbulbs were returned or price adjusted. The manager couldn't have been more disinterested. read more

I was really impressed at the level of unsolicited customer service I received. I had been to a few Walgreens looking for a specific nail polish color and brand. I needed 23 for a 15th birthday party party favor. The young lady, Karen, was willing to look in their system to help me find a total of 23. She also offered to order them for me. I decided to try Walgreens for a badly-needed Rx administered by a physician located four blocks away, instead of going to the usual CVS in Brentwood (on San Vicente), which usually annoys me. I've been back twice for other Rx. and was astounded at the speed of the Pharmacy, and the courteous and knowledgeable staff. I haven't shopped for store items, but wanted to check in with an outstanding rating for the Pharmacy. I'll be switching all my Rx from CVS to this one shortly. Parking is the only negative--don't like the TJ structure at all. read more

This review is about a particular experience with a certain employee, Elizabeth in the pharmacy. My husband's doctor called in a prescription (supposedly) and naturally the pharmacy didn't have any record of it. After three days (that's right, THREE) of getting the back and forth from both the pharmacy and the doctor's office, I firmly told the woman at the pharmacy that my husband's supply was down to one day and I needed the two offices to speak to each other because clearly I wasn't getting anywhere. Elizabeth was very patient with me and on top of everything, I noticed she had a phone up to her ear (I found out later she'd been on hold with a pharmaceutical company for over TWO hours). She allowed me to call the doctor's office from their phone (for some reason they cannot confirm prescriptions over a cell phone) and then got the verbal confirmation necessary. It was quite a sight seeing her with two phones at her ears, typing away on the computer AND talking to other pharmacy staff behind the partition. She was calm, professional and most importantly, got the job done. Elizabeth is awesome! read more

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. I came in one time an hour before they closed and the pharmacist told me she can't take any more new prescriptions. I told her it's an emergency and asked if I could just speak to her for one second and she told me she was to busy. She told me she had a really big order that was ahead me and she wouldn't have time. The girl that was waiting was there for 2 hours and got mad at me for complaining. 5 minutes later she came up to me and apologized and said it was not me she was mad at it was the fact that they kept telling me she had a big order when she only had 4 things to pick up that she already got texted was ready. I understand being overwhelmed with work but if you take a job that is important to each individual, and medically can have a major effect on the person you're the job knowing the responsibility. I've had many problems with them, and though they've been approving because of mine and many others complaining. They still deserve 1 star just for the lack of care they give towards people. read more

I disagree completely with the mediocre reviews of this Walgreen's. I think it's fabulous! The pharmacist, Becky, is the most caring, conscientious pharmacist I have EVER encountered (and I've lived in several states, and tried several different Walgreens in LA). She really sets the standard for what a pharmacist should be - calling you to tell you if your insurance denies coverage and calling the doctor for you to suggest prior authorization; advising you about drug interactions, etc. GO BECKY! The assistant manager, Mr. Bindi, is also fabulous. When I bought a blood pressure monitor that was giving me erratic results, he personally spent over 1/2 hour testing it and some alternative models out with me to make sure they were working properly. The store is well-stocked, well-organized, and you can park for free on top of the Trader Joe's building. What more could you want? This is definitely MY Walgreen's from now on! read more
