The bandage that was over the injection site and was easy to remove.
Roy R. P.

Been at this Walgreen's many times since it opened. It's next to the Trader Joe's I usually go to. Get my prescriptions filled here. Joined their Rewards program and save money on many things. Yesterday used some of my Rewards money to save another two dollars on a purchase. Got my COVID vaccine booster here yesterday. Got my first two shots at UCLA hospital in February and March. For some reason UCLA Health was only offering boosters at their locations in Torrance or Redondo Beach, so decided to go to this Walgreen's. Made the appointment to get my booster online. Went in yesterday morning and quickly got my booster. The person who gave me the shot was very good. Since I had closed my eyes and looked the other way didn't even know I had received the booster until she told me I had. Just like the last two times, had no side effects except a little soreness around the injection site that began a few hours later and is already gone. Wish I could give Walgreen's extra stars for the bandage they put over the injection site. Unlike some bandages, it came off very easily.

I always come to this Walgreens for sinus and allergies products. It's always limited! They're always low in stock. It's convenient for in and out purchases. Other than that for a greater selection you have to go further .

I'm literally sitting here in the store as I'm typing this review and boy am I heated. I came here to pick up some prints and it was oddly slow when I arrived so I thought it'd be an in and out type of deal. As I was at the photo counter, the Latina woman by the name of Angela was giving me a very hard time stating that the prints aren't ready and it'll take longer since I also ordered posters on top of the regular small prints. I said-- ok, no problem. I then asked her approximately how long and she said an hour. Mind you, my order online according to the Walgreens website says I maybe had 28mins left of a wait. Also, there was probably 3 customers total in the shop. Instead of going back & forth and wasting time, she could've just finished my order right then and there. But totally fine. Out of my control. Well, I gave her a few more minutes and started shopping in other aisles within the store to burn time--went back to the photo counter and she wasn't there. I had to find another employee for help and was told that Angela went to lunch. Well that's convenient! I then had to wait 15 more mins and then that's when she decided to work on my order. But wait, the job was still incomplete as they lost 1 out of 3 of my orders...... OF COURSE! So, it is currently 1pm and I AM JUST NOW LEAVING after having to RE-SUBMIT my order. Now, I will be late to my meeting. This has to be the absolute worst experience ever-- just one simple task. No apology or accountability from Angela whatsoever, but my expectations were extremely low at that point and I was ready to go. Management, I kindly ask you to reach out to me as there are a few things I'd like to discuss, including overhearing Angela mumble rudely about me to another employee. Feel free to pull up video footage and spot me sitting at one of the kiosks at the photo section. I'll be looking forward to hearing from you.

A nice size Walgreens. In the same building with Trader Joe's and shares a parking lot for one stop shopping. Super convenient. Shopped here to pick up some household items. Didn't use the pharmacy. Staff was friendly and helpful. I do wish, however, that the checkout line was more clearly marked. I liked how, besides the usual convenience store items, they also had cute Halloween and Dia de los Muertos decorations and super cool masquerade type masks (those are hard to find when you need them and I would never think to shop at Walgreens for that so, note to self). I highly suggest getting a Walgreen's card and adding the app to your phone and adding the coupons on the app so you can get discounts and money back.

LOL - This was posted to the wrong location. Sort of redundant, but had to rectify. Just like the Rite Aid on Wilshire Blvd, I also liked this Walgreens (more than the Walgreens on Wilshire). After losing out on the Dia de Los Muertos decorations I wanted to buy at Rite Aid, lucky me, turned out they had them here!!!! YES! Decorative skulls - tea lights, mugs, wreath, hangings, etc. I got the tea light skulls & a garden stick w/a decorative skull - I tore off the stick and drilled a tiny hole, put fishling line through it and hung up on my front window! Same prices as what Rite Aid had them for, although I was wondering why the tea lights were a little bit pricey (they were small) $4.99 each? Oh well, still cheaper than those stores I mentioned on my Rite Aid review in SM. This store is large, clean and organized. Parking available, however it's roof top and you have to drive up a winding spiraling ramp to get to it and walk to the escalators/elevators by crossing the entrance a top and people haul ass up in there!!! There was an older gentleman directing cars in and out - but still the drivers weren't paying attention to him and kept driving like idiots in there...Why this goes on in parking lots is beyond me? What puzzles me more, is why people drive aggressively while parking? Lol idiots! It's conveniently located and connected to a Trader Joe's and across the way from that is a real nice Ralph's market. Joy! PS...don't forget to bring your own bags, I kept forgetting that almost all the stores out there in WLA charge for bags and I just have way too many, from purchasing in DTLA.

Maneki Neko also operates a sister concept store called CATCH Little Tokyo located on the third floor of Japanese Village Plaza. [Parking]: As long as there are no special events in Little Tokyo, the Aiso Parking Garage (101 Judge John Aiso St) is your best bet. [Selection]: The shop has transitioned from primarily selling traditional decor / ceramics / cosmetics (which the shop still carries but in a smaller section) to focusing mainly on plushies and blind boxes featuring IPs like Sanrio, Pokémon, and other Japanese anime. Even though an officially licensed Sanrio store is located next door, Maneki Neko still has an excellent selection of Sanrio items that you can't find at the next-door licensed Sanrio store. [Conclusion]: This is one of those shops where I can probably find a Sanrio plush that I am willing to buy as a gift. It is a perfect example of a thriving shop that has learned to adapt by keeping up with changing consumer tastes.

The shop itself is on the smaller side, but they really pack a lot into the space. They carry a little bit of everything from snacks and blind boxes to household items and stationery. There's also a huge selection of Sanrio and anime merchandise, so it's a great place to find cute collectibles or small gifts. Whether you're shopping for yourself or looking for something fun for someone else, chances are you'll walk out with something. The staff has always been friendly during my visits, and while the store can get pretty busy at times, the overall experience is still enjoyable. Prices are fairly decent for the area which is definitely a plus. If you happen to be in Little Tokyo and enjoy browsing cute or quirky shops, I'd definitely recommend stopping by--it's worth the visit!

Love coming here for Japanese beauty products, especially lashes and makeup and haircare! They have…read moresome Korean beauty products as well. Every time I come here I always end up spending a couple hundred for big hauls because I want everything haha, but prices aren't bad at all. This last time I got a free diffuser as a gift with purchase! They also suggested buying these Japanese cough drops since I was headed to a concert (which - good looking out! was absolutely needed and helpful). They even checked the ingredients in Japanese to make sure that I wouldn't have any allergic reactions which was so sweet! Service has been consistently great every time that I've visited here. This last time I went was super early on a weekday though, so wasn't busy at all. It was shortly after they opened because I happened to have an appointment in the area and needed some beauty products for a trip. They were great with answering all of my beauty questions! The only con may be parking when it's busy or later in the day. I've tried coming here at night before but struggled to find parking when the lot was full and there weren't any spots on the street nearby. So definitely try to plan to come earlier in the day/when it's less busy.

However, I believe there is room for improvement when it comes to customer service. On multiple visits, I've noticed that one employee, who regularly wears a face mask, appears to follow me throughout the store while checking what is in my shopping basket. At first, I assumed it was a coincidence, but during my most recent visit, my friend noticed the same behavior. Being closely watched while shopping creates an uncomfortable experience and makes it difficult to browse at ease. As a person of color, this interaction was particularly unsettling. I hope management takes this feedback into consideration so all customers can feel welcomed and comfortable while shopping.

We were interested in stopping because it was our first time there and wanted to see it, however, we only had approximately one hour to explore. The shopping center wasn't too busy yet since it was so early, but also most all of the stores were closed as well. We did not get the complete experience of everything that this mall offers. A couple of bakeries were open when we visited and I am glad that we stopped! They allowed us to get some sweet treats and pastries, and they actually became one of the highlights of our trip to Little Tokyo! Although some of the stores weren't opened yet, it was great just to explore the area! All of the storefronts at the mall and surrounding Plaza were decorated for the holiday season. This brought an extra layer of charm to the shopping trip and helped create a cozy, festive ambiance! The quietness of the early morning hours created a amazing environment for us to walk through and enjoy our short little excursion to this beautiful shopping center! Although my visit was brief, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I would love to go back again, but next time during afternoon or evening hours when all the shops are open so I can finally see everything the Little Tokyo Mall has to offer!

I've seen Anime Jungle evolve and take over the entirety of the underground mall area. RIP to Fairytale Boutique, Fickle Wish, Xenon, and the day and age where Anime Jungle had their own dedicated shop for visual kei and J-rock. Never forget what you've lost. Other businesses have come and gone, like the mochi ice cream place. If you ever get mochi ice cream at the supermarket, it's likely from them and the macaron place that I loved, but alas, tis the world we live in. Other than the Anime Jungle that I go to and Little Akihabara LA for their pop ups and events, I also go to Monkey Pants, sometimes I swing into the Sanrio shop (they usually do the character meet and greets here, if not at JapanLA or somewhere egregiously far), Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle (they got staff POSTED there due to the thefts I'm sure, but I've gotten my bearded dragon keychain here and now I have them in all sizes), Catch (located on the 3rd floor and is MASSIVE for blind boxes and other goods), Neko Stop (I've gotten better deals here than the location in the Santa Anita Mall), and I've stopped in the Nijiya when I've been trapped there to get snacks or some bottled tea. Love the bakery there and the meat buns that they have (despite prices constantly rising due to the capitalist hellscape we live in) and the cafe to get affordable savory dango and takoyaki. The okonomiyaki place is one of the best, if not only places to get okonomiyaki at a place dedicated to the dish. Once in awhile they do a collab with multiple restaurants, not just at the mall too, such as Silent Hill F, Reincarnated into a Slime, during AX, Arknights, etc. Really drives the crowds and businesses here which is nice. Parking at the structure is a bit pricy and can get super fisted with bad drivers though, so keep that in mind.
