Came here on 12/28/17 @ 430pm. The store is on a busy road and most of the people waiting in line were sick, grouchy and smokey. I was just sick. The doctors called my 2 items later and I had about a 10 minute wait. Pharmacy staff was extremely nice and patient with everyone. Last time we get pictures here. We don't have much free time in the week because we are working parents. We just paid a lot of money to get professional pictures taken with our 6 month old. We had them developed and went to pick them up and we were told we couldn't receive our pictures until we had consent from our photographer. Thank you Walgreens for wasting our time today. This particular Walgreens Pharmacy is fast and the Pharmacist Calvin is awesome! Calvin, is very knowledgeable and caring toward consumers. John or Johnny Bananas as I sometimes jokingly refer to the tech is super cool as well. At one point there were issues due to pharmacist transfers which got a little hectic. As for the staff its hit or miss. In that, you might get someone that is moody or possibly overworked. But, hey. Other than that this is a good place and I will say that the store managers go above and beyond for customers. Which is great because that makes you want to go back for repeated business. Other businesses fail miserably at this because they just don't care for the customer. However, we all know as consumers, that with out our hard earned money there is no business. Because we as consumers together can make a business or break a business! For those that do shop here will know what I mean by the pharmacy end. Ive been going to this Walgreens for 10+ years,and today I got my prescription it was supposed to have 90 and was missing 30 I brought it back immediately they were rude and not helpful!!! This walgreens is super convenient. I find myself here multiples times a week and am never disappointed. Service is always friendly and inviting and they are quick to assist you if lines get long. I come here for everything from milk to makeup to the red box outside. It's like a mini Walmart, minus the ghetto. They even have a rewards program, I just got 5$ off a purchase I made. read more

I went there tonight to get a prescription done they told me it would take 15 minutes when it took 40 minutes

I went to drop off my prescription for tamiflu as I been throwing up all day with 100-101 temperature and the pharmacist who helped me was super nice and told me it would be ready at 1030 pm at night. I dropped it off about 9 pm. So I went home and laid back in bed as I feel like I'm dying and when 1030 came I got some pj's on and went back. When I get there the rudest most disgusting women ever tells me they don't have that in stock. So I said "seriously? The pharmacist said to come back at 1030 and I just got out of bed to come all the way here" she then glares at me like I did something wrong so I asked for her supervisors name and she smirked at me and threw my other script into the drawer and rolled her eyes at me and walked away. So since no flu meds I parked the car and went back in and this girls laughs and says "oh you want to talk to the pharmacist?" Very snottily and just had this disgusting rude attitude. I use this Walgreens for al my stuff and never have had a problem there but this girl Stephanie is by far the rudest most disrespectful POS I have ever encountered. So I spoke with the pharmacist (same one who told me to come back at 1030) and she was still very nice even though by this point my blood was boiling and I dropped a few F-bombs as I still feel like death. I didn't get the pharmacist name but she was a pretty Lil older Asian lady. And I felt bad for her as she truly didn't mean to have me come back to ruin my night she just happened to be super busy when I dropped it off and just made a mistake on thinking the prescription was in. I totally get mistakes happen and when I brought it to Stephanie's attention at the window and she just said sorry you we're misinformed and you drove down here for nothing really as the other part of prescription isn't something that will make me feel better but had she just apologized or been nice I am a pretty understanding person but once you disrespect me that's where I draw the line. We are the customers first and foremost and without us using their pharmacy they wouldn't have pay checks! With that being said Stephanie must go or I will take my business elsewhere and everyone I know will to I guarantee it. The pharmacist was amazing and very professional and very understanding and I should have got her name as she deserves credit for staying calm and handling the problem the correct way. Stephanie obviously should not be in a job where she encounters people as she is absolutely the worst employee I have ever seen at any place of business. The rest of the staff in this location was awesome as well. I ended up grabbing theraflu and the clerk who checked me out was nice as can be. Anissa is the manager of the pharmacy from what the pharmacist told me and I will be calling corporate and Anissa over this. Never in my life have I felt so disrespected that I was shaking cause this chick was so damn rude. Absolute and complete bullish-t that people go to this place to get meds cause they obviously aren't feeling well just to be treated like they are pieces of crap. I didn't make the mistake, I did what the pharmacist told me and all Stephanie had to do was just say sorry for the misunderstanding and I would have just let it be like I said I know mistakes happen but don't treat me like I did something wrong cause I simply asked if she was serious that the meds weren't in because I was told they were. Walgreens better do something about this chick or they will lose business and not just from me or because of me but because that Stephanie chick is going to leave a bad taste in a lot of peoples mouths with the way she treats them. She is just horrible. So horrible that even though I threw up when I got home I am making sure I write this review before I go to sleep. My head is pounding and want to sleep but want to make sure anyone who goes there is aware of this Stephanie's girls behavior so that way if you get treated this way by her you can write a review just like mine so that she will finally get reprimanded! I'm thoroughly disgusted with Walgreens right now for hiring such a horribly mean and rude person who has no compassion on her customers. You work at a pharmacy, a place sick or hurt people go! Not healthy people so if you don't like people Stephanie go find something you do like. You don't deserve a paycheck just cause you passed a stupid class to be a pharmacy tech. There is plenty of other trade schools you can go to where you can get a job where you don't have to deal with people as it's very obvious you have no clue how to behave or act like an adult. I was in there Friday to get some Zarbees for a bad cold, I was with my two boys. This Walgreen's pharmacy on Newport & Menifee roads is a very good example of a poorly managed store. Twice this week, we were called to come to the store. First, it was for an item ready for pick-up, only to be told when we got there that item was not ready since it needed a doctor's approval for refill. So, why were we called that it was ready for pick-up? Then, for the second time this week, we received this call again telling us that it was ready for pick-up. So we went today, only to be told that it is out-of-stock. Again, the question is why the heck did you call us that the prescription is ready for pick-up. Walgreen's needs an overhaul of their pharmacy operation. They seem to be taught how to run a store efficiently. read more

Never really had a problem with this pharmacy until today. Was told by the pharmacist at 8:30am that my prescription would be ready between 1-2pm. At 5:01 pm I called the pharmacy to see what the status was on my prescription, 45 min on hold to just get someone to answer the phone. The lady who FINALLY answered the phone said that I need to come pick it up tomorrow, because that's what I was quoted this morning!? Uh, no! I was told between 1-2 THIS afternoon. Then, she proceeds to tell me I can call back at 7 tonight to see if it's ready. I will be transferring to a new pharmacy ASAP. read more

The worst pharmacy ever! How do you manage to finish school and become a pharmacist but can't manage a simple pharmacy? Dropped off my script on Wednesday and was told to come back later that evening. I drive all the way back to this crack head town from Ttown to be informed that the script needs to be verified. No problem right, I come back two days later and this hot milf but retarded Vietnamese lady says they have to verify. Okay no prob right! The 3rd time I come back this other lady named Nhu has to verify and tries to find every loop hole to not give me my meds "we can't ge a hold of the doctor" omg liars... This pharmacy is the worst ever. I got a call telling me they had a prescription for me. When I called the pharmacy, I was told REPEATEDLY that someone would be with me. After 10+ minutes on the phone it repeatedly went to busy sickness. Best recommendation is to switch to CVS or ANYONE. The pharmacy has to be the slowest and most incompetent I have dealt with. I dropped off a RX for pain meds after extensive surgery. I was told they did not have it in stock but would order it for me. I waited 8 days for a call and never received one. When I went in and inquired about the order I was told it was still back-ordered. I asked for my script back and took it to CVS and had it in an hour. Poor communication and long waits because of lack of help. I have complained of the long waits but it seems customer service is something that is not important to them. read more

As always, I go in for a few items and end up leaving with 10 x's more than anticipated. I mean, it's no big deal - I'm a sucker for steals of deals...and I'm kind of a closet-hoarder/"prepper" if you will. Anyway, despite earning a badge for my frequent visits/purchases at this store, it's my go - to walgreens due to its cleanliness and location. Not really one to write reviews unless some earth shattering event happens, I'm happy to share this .... There was a promo where, ultimately I was supposed to save a (whopping) $5.00 well, (short story long), I saw the discrepancy on my receipt but just figured I'd go with it... maybe I was imagining the sale..that was, until, the cashier paused after she rang me out and informed me that she owed me money back because the register didn't pick up the promo /bonus points. By golly, she went and got the flier and pointed it out. To me, that's going the extra mile to ensure the customer isn't getting taken advantage of...Very friggin cool! read more

I am happy with the friendly and helpful staff. They may not know everything but they try to help and always greet you with a smile! It's not over the top but it's what is expected. They always seem to have what I need from candies and treats to cold and allergy medicine. I didn't used to be a Walgreens customer but their stores always seem to be well lit and clean compared to their competitors. read more

the general staff here is great, i live across the street and we do pick up things for the house here. however, two months ago i was diagnosed with attention deficit disorder and the first time i picked up my prescription i was interviewed in the same way the guy who protects obama did when going up for the job. the second time picking up my rx, which was 30 minutes ago, i was denied for no reason and when i tried to explain to the pharmacists that i didnt choose to have ADD that didnt seem to be of any importance. the only upside to this experience is i am kinder to people with problems now and do not prejudge anyone because i now know what it feels like to be looked at as a drug addict. specifically the female australian pharmacist and the pharmacist tech with the ghetto twang and arm tattoos. the people in line even understood me and actually felt bad. read more
