Rite-Aid did things slightly differently than its two larger competitors, Walgreens and CVS. The store was larger, with wide aisles. It was made it easy to navigate and then of course, was the inside ice cream area Swifty. Never understood why it wasn't more popular. I've gotten to know most of the employees, over the last four years of living nearby. They were great. No exaggeration. Friendly and sweet. So in two days, it will all come to an end. I've gotten Thrifty Ice Cream at this location and it's always a good texture, it doesn't immediately melt! It's good quality ice cream. There's a large over-the-counter section, a GNC vitamin area, and many food items. I also found a lot of make-up/cosmetic stuff. They have a little bit for everyone here. Parking is always available, this Rite Aid is near several neighborhoods.

I have to take this medicine every day and have to be stressed out when they are out of it all the time! The pharmacy line was about 10 people deep, which already took a while. After finally reaching the counter, I was told my prescription was already bagged but I needed to sit down and wait another 20 minutes because the pharmacist still had to "remove the cap" before it could be sold. I have never heard of standing in line, reaching the counter, and then being sent away to wait again for something that was supposedly ready and already sitting in the bag. Meanwhile the line barely moved because several people were having full medical consultations and insurance debates at the register while everyone else waited. What should have been a quick pickup turned into a long, frustrating ordeal. If the prescription isn't actually ready, don't send a "ready for pickup" text. It wastes everyone's time. I tried this location because I happened to be nearby, but after this experience I'll gladly go back to my usual pharmacy. Even a slightly rude pharmacy is preferable to this level of disorganization.

This Rite Aid was very helpful in getting my medication. They were hassle free. The pharmacist was friendly. There was a line but it moved quickly. Walgreens not so much. I'll be back.
