This was honestly one of the most chaotic pharmacy experiences I've ever had. I received a text saying my prescription was ready for pickup, so I stopped in. The pharmacy line was about 10 people deep, which already took a while. After finally reaching the counter, I was told my prescription was already bagged but I needed to sit down and wait another 20 minutes because the pharmacist still had to "remove the cap" before it could be sold. I have never heard of standing in line, reaching the counter, and then being sent away to wait again for something that was supposedly ready and already sitting in the bag. Meanwhile the line barely moved because several people were having full medical consultations and insurance debates at the register while everyone else waited. What should have been a quick pickup turned into a long, frustrating ordeal. If the prescription isn't actually ready, don't send a "ready for pickup" text. It wastes everyone's time. I tried this location because I happened to be nearby, but after this experience I'll gladly go back to my usual pharmacy. Even a slightly rude pharmacy is preferable to this level of disorganization. read more

Don't even try calling for a refill or talking to a pharmacist. They automatically put you on hold without even asking who you are. Be ready to wait 20 min+ if you stay online. It's best to go to the store instead if you want any kind of help. read more

The pharmacy refuses to answer the phone! They put it on hold and then when it rings they don't talk they just put it right back on hold. I am currently on my third call in two days and have been on hold for 10 minutes now. They just don't care about their customers! Every time I end up hanging up. This review is for the pharmacy only. I used to go to CVS pharmacy but found their service lacking. The line was also always very long. I've been using this pharmacy for over a year. They are usually very good and fast. The drive thru was long so I got out of the car. There was no line and I walked right up. My frustration is the medicine I was picking up was ready last week but insurance wouldn't pay until Thursday. I come back today and she said it wasn't available. She checks and then tells me it would be ready "later". I asked how much later and she said about 11/2 hour. I drove home which was less than 10 minutes away and I get a text that the medicine was ready. I called just to make sure and it was ready! I drive back and there was only one car in the drive through. 25 minutes of waiting later I finally get my medicine! I was not happy and hope this is just am off day. read more

I had a heart transplant in December 2025. I've had my prescriptions moved to Walgreens and ever since then the customer service has been the worst that I have EVER SEEN! The staff that is supposed to be helpful is anything but. You could be the only person waiting to pick up your prescription and they will make you wait buy ignoring you and if you try to come up to the counter, they will tell you that they will 'get to you as soon as soon as they can.' And when they do 'get to you,' they are rude, and they don't even look at you. I get a certain medicine that is NEVER IN STOCK! I have to take this medicine every day and have to be stressed out when they are out of it all the time! I only go there because it is convenient but I am thinking very seriously about moving to another pharmacy. I want to repeat that the people that they have to help customers is very bad and they should find some people who want to work there and not just get a paycheck! read more

Getting ahold of the pharmacy is ridiculous. You ring thru and the people behind the counter put you on hold over and over again. Today, when I called, I was put on hold 14 times before someone finally said "please hold and didn't even wait for a response before putting me on hold again. Just an endless cycle of answering then being placed on hold. Very unprofessional. I also have to call in every time to get my medication refilled even though I use the app. Every time I ask for a refill on the app it tells me they are working on it then nothing ever changes. This place either needs more employees or a better staff who actually cares about the community they serve. Now at 21 times being placed on hold and on the phone for 30 minutes. GET IT TOGETHER WALGREENS!!....So eventually got hung up on and had to call back under provider line and figured out it's actually the pharmacist Katie who keeps doing this every time we call. Pharmacy review only. The pharmacy here is extremely slow. You would be better off going to the one off Newport rd. The customer service is lacking. As soon as you call the pharmacy they immediately put you on hold and don't even let you speak. My doctor put the prescription in at 9:30 AM and I called at 12:30 PM and it's still not ready. Was told it would be ready in an hour. Just called again at 2:10 PM and was told they are still working on it and to give them another 30 minutes. I need the medication because I'm in pain and they don't seem to care. After this prescription I will not be going here again. read more

Absolutely insane dealing w/ a couple of bad apple pharmacists here. It's almost as if they are messing with customers in a very unethical way. I've been getting a medicine for months now from Walgreens using the manufacturers coupons with no problem. Sometimes at the refills the price would go up triple or four times the cost and I would call In and give the coupon and it would adjust appropriately that was until I got the women who calls herself the manager on the phone. My prescription went from $307 to $158 w. Coupon applied by one of her associates however when I called and got her to say the manufacturer said it should be less cost than that she starting arguing w/ me and then said they can no longer accept any coupons as she needs more codes and I immediately got a text my prescription is no longer available available for pick up and the price hikes backed up to $307!' Huh? You can't just higher the price on a customer! I have a screen shot of the price before this terrible rep got involved and now messed with my whole account. I know this because I had it transferred to a different location and the girl there was graciously trying to help fix everything however, she said something's been applied to my account and while we were on the phone, she was able to apply the coupon and it caused it to go down to $240 ( which I also have a screenshot of this ready for pick up price)but not back to the $158... she said I should call the manufacturer and see if they can issue me a new code cause maybe we ran it too much or who knows, but that's precisely what I did. However, when I called back with the new code, I got a different rep and he was saying that he couldn't get the new code to work so we just left it and I decided to call Walgreens corporate to see what the heck we can do to fix it to get it to the original price. After a few more days of trying to call either location and just getting put into an endless cycle, a voicemails .... I called Walgreens corporate and told them about the situation so they made a case ...Then I randomly get a call from this store locations rep name June ... she sounded like she was actually going to try to help and said she can call the other location since my prescription is over there now and ready to see if they can apply the coupon. I finally thought I was getting relief and not being made to feel crazy that I have to pay different prices for the same prescription. However, when she called me back, she said that the murrieta rd location is now saying that I cannot use the coupon! It's obviously very clearly after something shesaid to them because I received a text shortly after that my prescription is no longer available (again) and that the price went back up from $307 to the $240!!!!! I don't know what kind of unethical practices Walgreens is allowing these pharmacist to mess with the prices of peoples medication and availability, but this is 100% some sort of unethical behavior. You can't just raise the prices of people's medication and take that away from them to be available on a whim.. these ladies or lady at the Bradley Road location with the heavy Asian accents need to be looked into. They are messing with people who need medicine and it is absolutely not OK. Now I have people at the Murrieta Road saying ( after they spoke with this one)that they don't accept this type of coupon at all at Walgreens and that I need to go to CVS. I have never in my life,as a normal human being, been this messed with before and I truly hope that Walgreens understands the big problem (potential legal) here with messing with people's prescription costs and availability based on what the pharmacist feels like offering or doing.... read more

We didn't buy anything from this location, but in the 10 minutes we were browsing around (looking for a specific item)...we really enjoyed the vibe of the employees. Whomever was all on the morning shift on Thursday 02/01/22, we appreciate the upbeat and welcoming atmosphere. My son and I rolled up and down the valentines section and toy aisles (which they have so much more than other locations abs at great prices)! We paused an employee from whatever she was doing to ask for something we were looking for and she walked up and down the aisles with us trying to help. Absolutely the worst location I've ever been to. This incident happened in 2019. I was driving from San Diego back to my home in Ventura County and had agreed to meet someone from Offerup to purchase something and they were running late so I decided to go in and pick up a few items I knew I needed. When you first walk in to the right is cosmetics and I'm a lady so I was browsing when I feel someone staring at me and when I turn to look at her she says can I help you? and I said no I'm fine thank you and she said you're going to come in here and act like nothing happened? I said I have no idea what you're talking about , I've never been here before and she said right okay and started talking to another lady the first lady was probably 45-50 and white and the second lady was probably 30-35 and Asian and the white lady said I'm sure it's her it's that same tattoos and the same bag that's the exact same bag she had before and the tattoo on her hand is the same. I have a lot of tattoos and my hand tattoo is very unique, I drew it up myself it has symbolism to me. I said I don't know what you're talking about you clearly have me mistaken for someone else and look and she said I don't need to look inside your purse, I said good because I wasn't offering you access to my purse I was getting something from inside of it which was the receipt I had for the purse I was carrying because the strap had started to unravel and the place I bought it from said if I brought my receipt within 45 days they would exchange it so I had it in my wallet and I asked when this incident took place because if it was more than 8 days ago that couldn't be because I have the receipt for the purse the white lady said " I" was carrying and I offered to show my ID so they could see I live in Ventura County. The Asian lady just said are you sure and the white lady said yes and the Asian lady came over grabbed my purse and my cart and told me I needed to leave and never come back and escorted me outside, where I said that's my new Jaguar that I use to haul my stolen drug store items in apparently and she just kinda tossed my purse at me and took the cart back. I kept saying you must have video of the incident let's see it because I have a very unique look and there's no mistaking me for someone else it will be an easy comparison and if the police were called you'd have a name I'm sure and they never acknowledged me. I was so upset and embarrassed that I was just treated like a criminal for shopping somewhere I've never been before. I called to make a complaint several times and I was never given a call back. My husband agrees it would be difficult to mistake me for someone else and he thinks the older white lady was jealous and made it up. The woman is obviously a liar unless there's someone else running around Southern California who shops at the same boutique I did for my purse, it isn't a chain purse and is hot pink and someone else has the same tattoo I designed, with my kids initials on her left hand...stranger things have happened but I'm not buying it, I don't know why exactly that woman was lying but she sure was. Maybe she was discriminating against me because I have a lot of tattoos and plastic surgery. I couldn't tell you but she was clearly lying and Walgreens couldn't care less. I would have let the whole thing go a long time ago but as luck would have it I moved out to this area and I refuse to go to that location because of those two awful lying employees. From other reviews it seems this location thinks everyone is just itching to steal their valuable merchandise. You're Walgreens get over yourself. To the white lady, after much thought I agree with my husband and that scowl on your face was making your outside match your inside. I'm sorry you hate your life but don't take it out on people you're threatened by it doesn't make you anymore attractive. I used to work for Walgreens for over 4 years and I am very disappointed with the service I received at this location. I placed an order for Christmas cards on Dec 8th & called to make sure they were ready on Dec 10th - only to come in & have them not be able to find my order. Anna who is a manager at this location came to "help" find my cards, determined they were in fact printed but they could still not find them. Anna did not apologize but did say she would reprint them BUT that id have to come back for them. She said that she would call me when they were ready. This was at 10am. The entire day comes & goes, no phone call. I decide to check my email at 4pm & see they were ready at 12pm!! Only 2 hours after I left but no call. The next day, today, I go to pick the cards up. I get home and begin to write them only to discover they only gave me 26 of my 40 card order!!!! ): I went back in to complain & get my 14 other cards printed. I am fully under the impression I will be discounted for these photos.. NOPE!! The same manager ANNA is present & she again doesn't apologize, even after I tell her she said she'd call me & never did. To make it worse, she was upset when Jessica tried to reprint my entire order. She said "no stop! Don't print the whole thing. Only print the 14 that are missing" VERY DISAPPOINTING. Your job title is Customer Service Representative...... come on. Do not recommend this location. Never would've happened at mine. Jessica is great. Worst experience I had at the pharmacy with a cashier named Wendi when I went to pick up my daughters medication she told me there was nothing under her name but then she looked it up for it again and she found it. She asked me if I wanted to pay cash and I said I have the insurance she said I need it when she had it, then she proceeded to tell me the medication was not ready. The prescription was sent From the hospital yesterday afternoon. She said we didn't had it ready because there was no insurance under the prescription. This is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever stepped foot in. I can't help but wonder how the seniors can manage it. Very rude, disinterested, monotone and expressionless employees in the pharmacy. Two on Sunday and 5 on Monday. My prescription was sent into the pharmacy on the 15th. They didn't fill it because they didn't have my insurance information so it sat there for eight days. I went into pick it up, It wasn't ready and they very rudely informed me they didn't have my insurance. I informed them that you didn't have it last time either and I had no problem filling it because from what I understand this prescription is not covered by insurance. She said she would have it ready for me by noon. Well I didn't go back at noon because I have other things going on in my life so I went back today. Was it ready? Nope. And again I got another gal, telling me the same thing the other gal said and a whole bunch more information about insurance and the cost of it and what is covered blah blah blah and I said why wasn't any of this communicated to me between the 15th and now, why wasn't it communicated to me yesterday? Her response was "well I wasn't working yesterday so I don't know". The whole time the pharmacist is in the back, yesterday and today listening to this whole mess and saying absolutely nothing and not caring at all. Employees everywhere today are so rude and so disinterested and don't care at all about their customer or their work ethic and I'm tired of it. If the store is going to hire that many people who don't give a rats behind then I don't need to spend my money there. I left without the medication and I will get it somewhere else. read more

Horrible Walgreens in what's known as Sun City. Terrible location. Terrible parking. Most of all, terrible pharmacy. My mother has been trying to get away from this location but for some reason, they (corporate) won't opt her out of Save A Trip even after calling to cancel. Made another call today so fingers are crossed. Today was the last straw. Long line inside at the pharmacy counter and long line at the drive up window (pretty much on a regular basis). A woman who was waiting in line was able to express her frustration with the pharmacy and he told her "that's just how it is". Nice. While I feel it's rather pointless to leave a review for a pharmacy, after seeing so many unhappy people in one setting, I figured to post anyway so others won't think they're the only ones having a bad time. read more

I go here every month to pick up prescriptions. The lines are long the staff is small. They are patient with people as far as I can see and have been with me. They call me and let me know about my prescriptions and send lots of reminders. Perhaps this is because their counters are covered in prescriptions for people. It's insane it takes them a while just to even sift for mine sometimes there is so many. Next time if it's like that (because it's not always but often if that makes sense) I'd take a picture and post it but standing there taking a picture of a bunch of prescriptions seems like an invasion of privacy so I'm not going to do that but if you go here you've seen it. For the most part everyone is pretty knowledgeable. There hasn't been something someone couldn't help me with. I noticed sometimes some of the staff isn't the best at updating us on what's going on like if I'm waiting for a COVID test or something. I understand long waits are not something that can be helped however I feel steady communication is a good buffer. Once again though short staff can lead to someone being notified being at the bottom of a todo list ya know. I also think the setting in the pharmacy the environment there isn't a lot of interaction it's a lot of tedious busy bee work so keep in mind it might not be that persons strong suit perhaps why they chose the profession to begin with. Anyway. I have been picking up my prescriptions from here for about 8 months now and today Wendy called from pharmacy she was very helpful, polite, and patient. As for the basics: My prescriptions are accurate and correct. Any help I've needed I've gotten Wait times are literally hit or miss I feel like it doesn't matter if you go at the same time or not but then again I've never really went super early so that would be the only time but I've went from like 10 am to close and it was always hit or miss. I prefer quality over timesaver with meds though to be honest. I do think the pharmacists can stand to be kinder to their working staff. I have seen the pharmacist snap at the staff for not knowing where a COVID vaccine person waiting went. It's not an office it's a store and they are behind the counter working just like her how were they supposed to know. I've been to a lot of pharmacy picking up meds has been apart of my life for years and I have to say this is the first Walgreens I have felt consistency. Even consistency in the wait times at times being super long. But at least you know in advance to prepare for that time slot So for me it has consistency and accuracy. All in all pretty good pharmacy for me. But come on Walgreens maybe your pharmacy needs to expand and you need more staff just sayin ‍ read more

Horrible service in the pharmacy. They're inconsistent about the times they take their lunch so you don't really know when it will be open. They mess up my prescriptions so I always have to count and check everything. They don't give me a 90 day supply but charge for it. I end up having to go back and correct them. Worst of all is trying to get a hold of them over the phone. They don't answer and leave you on hold for at least an hour. Then they rush and don't answer all your questions. They hang up as soon as they think they're done helping you. I have been trying to get prescriptions sent to a new pharmacy to not deal with this Walgreens but they won't do it. My new pharmacy has called with no luck to get the prescriptions transferred. They even gave us a printed request to give to Walgreens so they can fax the prescriptions. Walgreens refused to accept the printed request and said the new pharmacy needs to call. If Walgreens doesn't pick up the phone I'm basically screwed with getting the prescriptions out of there.
