I went to this Walgreens pharmacy today to pick up a prescription after receiving an automated voicemail on February 17 stating it was ready. When I arrived, the pharmacy staff member told me the prescription could not be filled until March 2. When I explained that I had received a call indicating it was ready, I was told that it didn't matter who called me and that it was not ready. I tried to ask for clarification or additional details, but was told they did not have time to look into it and that I could step aside and wait. The interaction felt dismissive and rushed. In a pharmacy setting--where customers are often dealing with health concerns--clear communication and basic courtesy are especially important. At the time of my visit, the store manager who oversees the pharmacy staff was unavailable, and there was no one else to address the issue. I'm sharing this so others understand the level of customer service they may experience at this location, and in the hope that feedback like this leads to better communication and a more respectful experience for customers. read more

Love this pharmacy. Very nice staff, easy drive thru, small selection of products but I get all of my prescriptions and vaccines there.

The pharmacist who helped me, I believe her last name is Nguyen, was amazing. Definitely not looking forward to getting my booster shot and in a piss-pore mood about it, I was distracted by her upbeat and positive attitude. She was very quick to help out and definitely made what would normally be a dark smudge on an otherwise ok day... not quite so bad... Worst attitude always from the pharmacist tech helping the pharmacist. Always super bad attitude, immediately always tells me the insurance doesn't cover the script every month when it does so I have to wait for a day for them to actually do their job to go back and get the medication. Took a Covid test on 12/13/2021. Lab still hasn't received it as of 12/18/2021. This location is not friendly and does not care if you have to cancel a trip. It's as though they purposely want to sabotage your plans. All other clinics and locations have a 2-3 day turnaround knowing that that companies want you to test within 72 hours of your plans. (Nobody asks for a test 7-10 days prior to plans.) I don't know if it's only this location that FAILS to send your test to the lab. I've never had this happen before at other testing sites or clinics. read more

Had a bad experience at Walgreens on beach and brought it to this location and the manager (working 2/24 @8pm) was very patient and kind. He was able to resolve my issue with no problem at all. I needed to pick up my prescription and they advertised being open until 9pm. It's barely 8pm right now, and they were closed! I understand closing shop up earlier if its dead, but at least keep the drive thru open to take care of the customers who need their medication! Every other time I've been in there, they have been okay in customer service. Not the best Walgreens I've been to, but this definitely made it one of the worst. read more

They are liars. They advertise as approved Hawaii Covid Test, which requires to be taken within 72 hour window, but their turnaround exceeds it, therefore it is not usable. I called the Pharmacist, and was told that they failed to ship the sample. This caused a vacation to be cancelled, and expenses to be had. Shame on you! read more

This place redefines incompetence. They literally never get anything right. Not even a simple refill. When they say something is ready, it never is. They do everything they can to make even the simplest transactions complicated. Worst of all, they make pathetic excuses and offer total indifference. We are done with this place. This is the best Walgreens in HB!!! Extremely fast service every time. The whole staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Always greeted by my first name and with a "welcome to Walgreens"! Highly recommend this pharmacy. Their hours are 8am-9pm on weekdays and 10-6 on the weekends. They go to lunch on Saturday and Sunday from 1-2. Cannot say enough good things about this Walgreens. read more

Where to start? If you can, go to an independent pharmacy. Avoid going through the drive thru at all costs. They do Covid testing and if two cars in front of you are in line for that you will wait 30-45 minutes. read more

So, I have systemic lupus. I'm on two chemos along with other medications. With lupus, you get lesions in your mouth and all over your skin. It's extremely painful. Long story short, in order to stop the itching and pain, I'd take over the counter Benadryl. But I couldn't keep paying for bottles of it, because it gets pretty pricey. So, my doctor gave me a prescription for injectable Benadryl. One shot a day to ease pain. Anyways, I called to see if they had it in stock because cvs said they are ordering it but will take awhile, so if I called around, they could transfer it. When I asked him I could hear the disgust in his voice. He told me, " uh we'd never have that in stock and no one should besides the hospital." Okay, dude I have gotten it before and it's not an opioid. It's simply BENADRYL for allergic reactions and my painful skin! Don't judge someone over a simple question. read more

Terrible service I had to get me moms pain meds after eye surgery. They told me to come back in 20 mins. Really for 4 pills of regular old Tylenol #3??? I couldn't leave my mom alone after surgery so we sat in car with air on cuz it was 90 deg out. 20 mins later got moms prescription. Drive thru yeah and wait in parking lot!!!! read more
