I visited this spot for mucinex and I asked one of the employees TIMIA what was the difference between dm and maximum strength not only was she rude, unknowledgeable, but her breath reeked of alcohol, slurring her words the poor girl could barely stand up straight. I just left and went to the cvs antihoc better service. I will never go to this wall greens again. Was called 50/11 times in a day to come pick up my meds. Get over here after work, waited in line, folks walking by like you invisible. A Gumby head Lilly in the pharmacy made sure not to assist me. No worries didn't want her assistance no way. So I waited. A nice brown male comes to the window. Gave my name and dob. He goes to get my meds. He then proceeds to tell me it's been misplaced. Huh? This is the third time I have come to pick up my meds and AFTER being called that they were ready I COULDNT GET THEM. This Walgreens isn't anything fancy, but it usually has all of the staples you're looking for. The staff, for the most part, are courteous enough and the store itself is cleanly and orderly. I frequent it often out of convenience but am always a little annoyed that the prices seem a tad more expensive than other stores. However, it'll do and it typically has what you need. I will say that it's also typical to wait a while here. The line can sometimes stretch to the photo counter--usually as a result of there being only one cashier to handle a throng of customers. Also, if you need an item to be unlocked or any form of assistance from the staff, you'll also be waiting for a while. Oh, and watch out for the curbs in their parking lot. I went to use it the next day and it had already been used, Somebody carefully opened the card and got the redemption I went back to Walgreens they gave Corp.# I called 6 different time's and been getting the run around ever since, Here's Walgreen's the response: Dear Scott, Thank you for taking your time to contact Walgreens Corporate Offices. We truly apologize for this situation. Walgreens can only verify that the card was activated at the time of purchase which we did, and it was. We are not liable for vendor gift cards after that. If I could give less stars I would. My medication was delayed for over 5 days, no explanation, also meaning I didn't have my medications for over 5 days. It's a med you cannot stop abruptly taking. I'm lucky I didn't end up in the hospital. When I called to inquire the tech was extremely dismissive. Especially when I told her how dangerous it was. She was then very rude. I help My husband to pick up medicine it was refill prescription , but I came here 3 times to pick up but it's failed and just pick partial only since doctor release the medicine on 6/26/25, the 1st came here on 6/30 to say the medicine not ready yet, it would be ready for 7/1. Then 7/3 came here they said it's not ready and I told the guys we need travel overseas for 3 weeks on 7/5 then the guys said and wrote to me it would be ready for pick up 7/5/25. Zero stars for the pharmacy. One of the worst pharmacies I've had to deal with. From partial prescriptions, (which they never called to let me know the 13 came in) not giving all the prescriptions sent over, and all of a sudden the system shuts down in the process of checking out. The clerks lack attention to detail...Do yourself a favor and don't use this pharmacy. I love the cvs in Target. It's a longer drive, however the professionalism from the clerks are at a 10, and they do stock their prescriptions so you know you don't have to get partials. read more

The people who work pharmacy clearly hate their job. I always try to come in with a good friendly attitude because I also work with customer service but they're just rude for no reason. I know people can be a hassle but it's not fair to always make positive people feel like a bother just for simply getting prescribed medicine. I hope whatever management they have treats them better because it's an every time occurrence now where it just seems like their management team treats them poorly which makes them have negative attitudes in their workplace. I guess it's a trend for all pharmacy Walgreens in this area , while I was in the counter to pick up my meds they told me to go see an agent down the hall (last window) cuz I went to the wrong Walgreens! Fine my fault and it is but she went to go ahead and pull my meds and it will take 3-4 hours to get it ready. Wtf I recently found out I have asthma and I'm wheezing my ass off while she's laughing with her colleague while on her 2 way talking. About some personal stuff they have during work hours!! I called a refill for two medications yesterday morning. My prescriptions were supposed to be ready today at 9:00a.m.. I arrived at Walgreens drive thru at 12:45, I just got up to the window at 1:23. The clerk at the window informed me that one of my prescriptions is not ready and I will need to come back in 20 minutes. I explained how long I had already been sitting in line, she told me that she has to have me move because she needs to help the other customers. As I drove off to get back in line, I received a text from Walgreens informing me that my prescription is now ready. So now I am back in Iine behind 6 cars stuck again in line. The customer service at this Walgreens continues to deteriorate. I have had problems here in the past with filling my prescriptions. They are short of staff, they are often out of stock on meds and the lines are always impossible and the customer service just absolutely sucks! read more

I rate Pittsburg walgreens 0 stars. The pharmacy is the worst part of this store. They are slow and the drive up is horrible. I have witnessed some very shady behavior while waiting in the drive through for the usual 45 minutes that I have to wait for my medication pick-up. Don't think that going inside will be any better. The line is long and I always feel like I'm going to catch something standing in line with a bunch of sick people. Now there is a giant apartment complex being built next door. Simply the worst pharmacy experiences I've ever had. I literally have the prior authorization in my hand stating a 30 qty refill and they are still trying to tell me it's only for 15. Then they want to call me with attitude? I've lost hours of my life dealing with their bullshit for the last two months. I don't understand what the disconnect is. As a medically fragile parent. Being treated poorly like you are misusing your child's chemo every time you call for a refill because the staff is too lazy to see if there is a new prescription or updated dosage. Heartbreaking is an understatement... Medically fragile people go through enough. To be treated poorly by every pharmacy staff can only be the fault of HORRIBLE training.... Returned two recall baby formula to this store. Shift lead Jacob, only accepted 1 unopened formula and denied the other formula because it was open and was almost empty. Please note Jacob, that as an acting manager you have to understand that this kind of recall is NOT a laughing matter to dismiss, and not accepting this open formula because it has been used already in NOT a reason not to refund it. My daughter had a fever because of this formula and I have informed you that we only recieved this news yesterday 2/23 from Similac regarding this recall. We bought this formula on 2/15, ofcourse it is almost empty because we bought a while back and not knowing that it was recall until yesterday. We went to a different Walgreens but called them first that the formula has been used already... and they still accepted and gave me a FULL refund! Jacob you need to get another training regarding this kind of matter. I am very disappointed how you just dismiss this kind of thing and let alone informing me to just send it to the manufacturer to get a refund! this is one of my least favorite places to come. it is impossible to use this pharmacy with just one visit. two or three attempts are usually required. it does have some redeeming qualities. i like the photo department. the card selection is good. gift card selection is good. Pittsburg store feels like it's on the brink of bankruptcy. Very unattractive interior, lots of items out of stock. The exterior is a dump. Always lots of litter, no garbage cans anymore.
