If it were possible to leave negative stars I absolutely would. The pharmacy here is a joke. I had a prescription sent in on a Thursday for me and on Friday morning I went to pick it up and they said they were out of stock on it and they would not get it in until Monday or Tuesday. I asked what am I supposed to do until Monday or Tuesday without my medication and they said to sit down they could call around to other stores. Luckily for me I happen to work at the provider's office the medication was sent from and said don't bother I will have it sent to another pharmacy that actually has medication in stock. This could have all been avoided had the simply called and told me the issue instead of me making a trip into the store to find this out. If I didn't work in healthcare this would have been a real issue for me. Most people don't have the option I have as easily so I would suggest you avoid this dumpster fire of a pharmacy. All this nonsense is over shopping baskets - and it's still going on! I've lived 2 minutes walk from this store for around 9 years. I sometimes go several times in one day, as I buy things for myself, and I have a side gig with a grocery delivery app. There's never been a problem between me and an employee here, until now.  Around August 2024, I was paying for some items, when I asked the employee if I could add my phone number to get the Walgreens rewards - she did not reply. I asked again - still nothing. I felt this was rude, but I let it go. Once I'd finished paying, the employee shoved the shopping basket at me and asked (barked) if I would put it back with the others, stacked by the entrance. Since this is definitely not the customers' responsibility, and she'd been so rude, I refused.  She then aggressively shook the basket, and shouted at me, using profanity. Obviously I was taken aback by this, but I had paid for my stuff already, so I left. In December, there was another incident regarding the shopping baskets. This time I had already left the store, when this employee shouted at me from inside, again using profanity. She said that I had to put my basket back, and that she would no longer serve me. When I complained to the manager, I said that all I wanted, was for her to simply do a job, and treat me like any other customer - the manager said that she would take care of it. There have been several more incidents, and to date, I believe four different managers have spoken to her about this, yet none of them have actually managed to get her to just do her job. She still is very rude to me, and refuses to serve me. I need to be clear - as I said earlier, I have had no issues with any other members of staff, in the 9 years I've been going to this store, and the store manager has said to this employee that she must serve me. There have even been incidents where, accompanied by a manager, I've tried to make a purchase from this employee - the employee has refused to serve me, even at the insistence of the manager standing next to me. So not only is she rude to customers, but she has no respect for authority - namely the managers who are in charge of her. Clearly we can see who's really running things here. Even after complaining to the corporate office, nothing has been done, and it's now March 2025, 3 months since I first complained, 7 months since the first incident. I really don't know what upsets her about me, or the shopping baskets, since she's never said, but I think it's reasonable to except that she could be professional, long enough for me to make a purchase - clearly she can't. So, if this is the case, why is she still allowed to work here? It's also very disappointing that even after months of complaining, Walgreens have not done anything to stop this behavior - yes, unfortunately it's still going on. Walgreens should be thoroughly embarrassed having such an awful employee representing them, and ashamed that they've done nothing about it. Is it any wonder that they are forced to close 1200 stores, (450 in this year alone), if this is their attitude to their customers. I think closing the store would be the only way to finally get her to stop. This, quite literally, is the worst customer service I've ever had! read more

Went to this Walgreens like I usually do to drop off my packages for FedEx got there and seen some new guy not sure who he was but he was super rude. Told me that there wasn't there's only one line 1st when there's specifically a FedEx line to the left side that I've always gone to then he told me hey we're not taking packages today Like what's the point of being a drop off location if you're not taking packages, it made no sense but you know what it is what it is and I don't think I'll be dropping off my packages. Cashier with the long hair and glasses is a so slow in cashiering. Incompetent like he didn't believe the price was what it was on the register when verbally communicated with the customer that it was. He tried to scan it again but it kept coming up the same price. My first time to stop by at this branch. And I did not get to the right entrance in the first place. I guess they changed the entrance to other side for safety and protection. The entrance is not on Pico Blvd, but on Lincoln instead. Maybe due to Christmas season and understaff, or maybe the parking lot is just too small, the store is not crowded and some of the shelves are empty especially popular items in pharmacy and on sale isle. 2 cashiers are working hard efficiently to help people check out sooner and they are very friendly and nice. This Walgreens is small, yet with technology display that impresses me a lot. Rather than open and close the door, you know what's inside. This is like what I have seen in Korean subway station where people can simply tap and order to be delivered home before they board the train. It is still clean, quiet and safe to visit. The sign is not too strong or clear like other branches. Maybe this is intended to be a community oriented store? I do hope they fill the stock soon so people can get what they come here for. A well deserved 2 stars. Corner stores are generally inconvenient and expensive but this one takes the cake with absolutely awful service. Avoid it if you can. I certainly will. Leave it to the homeless who clearly stealing the products rather than deal with the sh@$$y staff, unlike the rest of us. 5 stars for the super high tech beverage fridges that display digital menus. They only appear when someone is walking by, otherwise the screens hibernate or display banner ads. I've never seen anything like this in any convenience stores. Walgreens is ahead of the curve. Mario and Oscar were really helpful though, unfortunately, I already have to update this review about the overall experience as pertains to others. After this store closed, I called the 24-hour Robertson store to ask about my first order ever, which I had just placed here. I had to call there, since the Robertson store was still open. The supervisor there refused to answer my question. She also refused to confirm the toll free number I read, as one of 2 numbers on the store's site, as I asked if I should call there instead about my first online order, after her refusal. Then she deliberately hung up on me. I called the toll free number, asked my question and confirmed my order. The email I had been told, at this store, that I was going to receive to let me know to pick up my order here never arrived. However, the delivery date has passed. I called the toll free number again. Tim said my order was automatically canceled, since apparently I am not allowed to use their site (or app) to order this item it to be delivered to the store. However, the app, store and everyone at Walgreens said I could, processed the order this way and confirmed the order that way. I received no notification, as I kept checking the site and my email, that my order had been canceled automatically by Walgreens. I still have NEVER received an email notifying me that the original CHARGE to my credit card has been reimbursed either. I had to call the toll free number and start all over again. Tim said the online promo code I had used had expired so, after spending about over 3 hours altogether earlier listening to rude staff at other locations and not accurate answers, except at this store, in order to buy 1 item, I also had to pay more for it to now to be estimated to take twice as long for it to arrive. I still haven't received any notification it has shipped so I still don't know if it is ever going to arrive. I don't consider this store, especially, as in error. However, I don't think this should be the experience trying to buy 1 item that would ordinarily cost about $40 once in a blue moon at Walgreens. read more

I called about getting a passport picture taken at 10:01 pm they say that they do them and that they will close at 11. I advised them that I was on the way and they said okay. This one star is for Chiquita in the pharmacy. Today, I came to pick up a prescription for my daughter. I heard Chiquita speaking rudely to the woman in front of me; at the counter. Then when I approached the window she was rude to me too. She said, "I need to see your ID." I replied, "It's my daughter's prescription." Like a robot, she restated the exact same words, "I need to see your ID." Not, I know ma'am, but I need to see your ID. I have picked up this medication for my daughter before, and I was never asked for my ID. I commented to the woman who was before me and was now seated, "She really is rude." A woman in line behind me heard me and said, "She's the worst. She's always rude." The woman who was seated agreed with us both. Well, I am of the mindset to switch to another Walgreens because I have zero tolerance for rude customer service, and if Chiquita is the best Walgreens has then, shame on Walgreens. Before I left I told the pharmacist to expect a complaint from me. I didn't shout, nor did I whisper. Chiquita heard me and walked over and mumbled, "All I did was ask her for her ID." It's not what she asked, it's how she said it, and she offered no explanation for asking for my ID. I doubt that Walgreens will do anything about Chiquita and her lame customer service, but they can never say they didn't know. As a customer, I have options, maybe the Walgreens on Crenshaw or LaBrea is an option for my family. read more

Not surprised to see how many one star reviews there are because of the pharmacy. Each time I visit, I notice how low energy and s-l-o-w everyone is when dealing with customers, but having a grand old time and laughing when talking amongst themselves in the back. Then I got my vaccine administered by the self proclaimed "pharmacist-in-charge" and immediately understood - I've never seen a professional look so sleepy and lackadaisical, not to mention completely disinterested in diffusing my concerns (they pretty much forgot about me as I watched other people who arrived after me, get vaccinated before me). Customer service mentality comes from the top down. I get that this pharmacy may deal with high volume and all kinds of difficult characters, but overall, people will be more sympathetic to your workload if you actually act like you give a shit. read more

First of all, the pharmacist has endangered the life a patient I know. I am this woman's assistant. I have worked with pharmacies before, and the BS that came from there is nothing I have ever dealt with before. They claimed they didn't have her debit card on file. She had been very ill, and is elderly and disabled. She cannot get to the pharmacy. She needed them to deliver her meds, and they refused. She has a bad heart, among other things, and a lack of meds could kill her. They kept playing games, and the pharmacist was cruel and VERY unprofessional. The patient struggled with this pharmacist who did nothing but condescend to her. (Oh, she called HER rude!). I was listening, and could not believe what this so called professional person was saying. My client then called the corporate office, and INDEED HER CARD IS ON FILE. I am witness to this. I heard what they said. The pharmacist lied to her, and said if she came to the pharmacy, they would put her card on file. I went to pick up her meds, paid with her card, but they still refused to put her card on file. They claimed it didn"t "go through". Then the kind assistant, (who was trying to help), asked this rude, unprofessional pharmacist how to get my friend's card on file, and she, (the pharmacist), gave a cockamamie reason: that she had to have prescriptions there for months, before my friend can have them delivered to her. That is a LIE. Why did the pharmacist lie?????? What the pharmacist was doing, and probably has pulled this before, is against pharmacy LAW. I am urging my friend to not only file a complaint, but to go further than that, through disabled rights and elder abuse channels, not only has this "pharmacist" violated pharmacy laws, she has psychologically abused a sick elderly person. Another bad experience with Walgreens. I observed a woman in front of me talking to a pharmacist trying to fill her long standing prescriptions. Her records from her doctor were already sent twice, as they lost the first set. The pharmacist was very rude, argumentative, and uncooperative. I heard her say she'd fill it once, but it was a liability. What liability is there in filling a doctor ordered prescription that has already been taken for many years? What right does a pharmacy have to over ride a doctors orders? As the woman left I heard the two front desk clerks say sarcastically "everyone is taking opioids." Why can these people get my medicine to me? It's a week over due and I ran out on Friday. It's kicking my ass and they have straight out said they don't care. I truly hate the pharmacist. I'm a cancer patient and my meds allow me to function. I'm not standing very well right now and have no one to get these for me. I went this store today and treated badly with the cashier, a young girl who has no idea about professionalism. Thanks to a gentleman who works next to her could solve the problem. It is a larger building, and has a lot more options than some of the other locations. Also, the employees here were more helpful than at some other locations I've been to.
