Over a 2 year period my diabetic meds (Lantus and Mounjaro) are out of stock and delayed. I frequently receive only a partial fill. When this happens once, I chalk it up to "life happens" but when it's this frequent it's just plain poor management and bad inventory control. Do better! read more

I don't come here for a good deal. I come here for allergy and pain medicine that is gluten-free and dye free. Lifesaver! Friendly clean store. Needs to fix their front door. It's squeaking and going down hill. Keep an eye out for sales. I like the seasonal section the best for the kids. Got some huge adorable Squishmallows in time for Easter. Busy Busy. Definitely too busy to have one cashier with an insane line waiting to check out mid afternoon. Store parking lot is chaotic as well on a busy corner and so many people rushing to best traffic so pay attention. Store clean and organized, but service slow and in need of help. read more

I want a zero star rating to reflect the true measure of my experiences. It's the same ole response. Unable to help or provide good old fashion customer service. They blame it on the Doctors office or the warehouse stock or bad communications. They are not customer service oriented. Period. Every experience I've had here has been terrible. After surgery my prescription was sent to this pharmacy. They filled the prescription but didn't bother to call and let me know. Pretty sure they were trying to SCAM me as well by charging me for certain medications that were free at the new location I had my prescription sent to. read more

Came in to pick up photod that were ready. Waited in line for long time. Another lady behind me waiting. I only saw one cashier with 7 people waiting in line. Finally i saw another employee come out to go help out at front Cashier but no one came to photo area. This is ridiculous. How hard is it to get help? No one pays attention to customers anymore?! Finally guy came up. He was not friendly, hardly engaged. Did not have smile on his face. Did not apologize for the wait - nothing. Nothing welcoming about this location at all. She went above and beyond to help me out of the mess left by the rehab place my husband recently got out of! I was a mess and she calmed me down and figured out what they didn't order and handled it! I got in line at the pharmacy at 1:15pm today. I got up to the window at 1:30 and they shut the window saying to come back at 2:00pm. There's no reason that they couldn't have gotten my meds for me since I was there prior to 1:30pm. I now have to go back out of my way to pick up my meds and wait again in line. read more

The Walgreens at Cotton & Bell in Surprise is delightful but their Pharmacy is sorely lacking in performance. Every time I have gone into the Pharmacy, it has taken 2-3 trips to the store to get my prescribed medications. And the "promised wait times" is a joke! I spoke with a Pharm Tech at 9:30am this morning (after waiting for 20 minutes for my phone call to get past other waiting patients) and was told that my meds would be ready in 90 minutes. I arrived at the store 8-1/2 hours later and the prescriptions STILL were not filled. I was told that they would be ready in another hour. Didn't have the time to sit on my duff for another hour, so I drove back home (a 30 mile round trip) and I will have to return tomorrow. This scenario happens EVERY TIME! Do yourself a favor - use another Pharmacy! BTW... the pharmacy finally texted me at 9:39pm that evening to let me know that my pickup was ready. That was nearly 5 hours after I had left the store, not the 60 minutes they promised me. read more

I've been going to this store for 10+ years. Recently stocked up on wrapping paper and gift boxes that were 70% off! What a steal! Sometimes they don't have the eyeliner I use but I'm always able to find a substitute. The staff here is nice and accommodating and also helpful. The pharmacy is good too. Sometimes they're a bit busy but they seem to be on top of their game. I had issues with CVS telling me they never got my prescription from the dr.. had the dr. resend the script here and I get a call that it's ready! And to top it off, the pharmacist helped ring me up after hours just to make sure I had what I needed. read more

This is a Walgreens location that had its act together. A great store. There is lots of staff available to help you locate items. They stock efficiently so aisles are kelp clear and uncluttered. I am a retired pharmacist so I am aware of how a pharmacy department should be run. The pharmacy dept is ALWAYS friendly, helpful, and professional. It is incredible to amount of time it takes this pharmacy to fill a prescription! Every time we go to Walgreen's we end up having to take extra time (and the extra time of the people behind us in line) because they claim they don't have the capability of running our meds through both of our insurance companies before we get there. Staff is nice but I find it hard to believe that a company of this size would find it difficult to implement a change so that this could be done automatically (at your request). The store is full of friendly and helpful employees but the Pharmacys prices are OUTRAGEOUS! I thought I'd see about switching from Frys pharmacy but their price for one prescription was $60 more than Frys and $75 more than Walmart, good lord ! Do not go to this pharmacy. I have been going to this pharmacy out of convenience for over a year and in that time, they have made numerous errors and I am finally done. I have had them tell me they couldn't run my prescriptions through insurance because they didn't have my insurance information when I had gotten the same prescriptions from them with the same insurance one month prior. I have a script for a nasal spray and unfortunately my insurance only covers certain brands of it, every single month when I call to refill it I tell them this and every single month when I go to pick it up they have tried to fill the wrong brand and tell me my insurance won't cover it, so I have to go through the whole thing again and wait for them to fill it the right way. I have even had a worker who couldn't find my daughter by her birthday in their system argue with me that June is not 6th month, but the 5th. I have had them tell me I don't have any refills of a prescription left when I know I should and when I finally was able to convince one of them to look at the actual script that was sent in instead of just what they typed into their system and see how many refills the doctor wrote down, they somehow entered it as a 2 instead of a 6. Again tonight they told me that I don't have any more refills of a medication and I know that's absolutely not true. They have made error after error with my family's medications and I just won't trust them not to seriously screw something up. read more
