There is no end to the kindness Nancy and her team provide. My dogs LOVE her and everyone she's had helping her with walks, and she only walks one of them! My dogs get so excited to see her everyday- we can tell when it's about time because they start sitting at the door, waiting to hear her. For the humans she's always very kind and very responsive. We get awesome photos of our little guy on his buddy walks everyday and get helpful updates about his potty breaks. I also really appreciate that she doesn't just take the dogs to Peters Park, but actually walks them around and ensures they get some exercise and attention. I can't recommend Nancy enough! This is the most fabulous dog walking service in Boston and I cannot say enough good things about Nancy. She is on time, responsible, keeps Maggie hydrated during the walk and even fills her water bowl when she brings her back! Her payment system is easy and on-line and I couldn't be happier! Like many of the other reviewers have noted, Nancy is simply phenomenal. She took care of my cat for a week over Christmas, and the entire process was a breeze. Christmas is a busy time and a few other pet sitting places that I reached out to told me they did not accept new clients during holidays. Within a day of reaching out to Nancy at Walk My Dog, she responded that it was no problem and was scheduling a meet and greet with my cat. During that meeting, she took copious notes on everything from where food and supplies were kept to where the cat carrier was in case of an emergency. My cat can be a little skittish around new people, and Nancy was incredibly patient and gentle with her. She's definitely a natural around cats. During the week that she took care of my cat, she sent pictures and a detailed summary of how her visit went every day. I had never been away from my cat for more than a week and I was so comfortable knowing that she was in such excellent care. If you are looking for someone to take care of your cats over any period of time, I cannot recommend someone more highly than Nancy, and I am extremely glad that I have found a cat sitter for the future! read more

Nancy definitely came through for my dog and me. I needed a walker over the Memorial Day weekend and nearly every dog walker in the South End would not be able to help or would charge and exorbitant amount of money. I called Nancy and she said it would be no problem to walk my dog over the holiday weekend and her prices were very fair. A week before I left town, she came by to meet my dog and take notes on all of his usual routines, like and dislikes, etc. She was very thorough in her notes and asked a lot of questions regarding my dogs care, which put my mind at ease and gave me confidence that should would take good care of my dog. She sent a report as well as photos after each walk and contacted me if there were any issues. Nancy took great care of my dog. In fact, when my dog wouldn't eat because of his separation anxiety (it happens often when Im out of town) she HAND FED him his food to coax his appetite and made sure he took his medication. Nancy, who runs Walk My Dog, was absolutely phenomenal. After initially contacting her to see if she could check in on my cat a couple times while on vacation for a week, she got back to me right away and immediately offered times and days for which we could conduct a meet-and-greet to see if the job was a good fit for both her and us. In short, she was the perfect person for the job, as she took attentive/detailed notes during said meet-and-greet, had great/reasonable fees per visit, was very relatable/personable, was punctual with each visit, and shared photos/videos of our cat and his "belongings" (litter, food/water bowls, etc.) while we were on vacation to give us peace of mind that he was doing just fine. I highly recommend Nancy and William! They took such great care of my dog, Fergie (who is very difficult), over the last two years (daily walks, occasional weekend/holidays). I just returned from a week long trip over Christmas, during which Nancy watched over my 2 cats. She is professional from start to finish, asking pertinent questions, writing everything down, and reviewing her notes with you. Then, during the visits, she takes time to get to know your pets, cleans up after them, feeds them, and plays with them.
