Amazing sports bar featuring Cajun favorites as well as stellar service by Eric. A multitude of TVs for your viewing pleasure and you have the nirvana of sports bars. Well spaced out tables, creative cocktails, amazing desserts and I really felt this was worth the 35 minutes drive. First visit surpassed my expectations.. This place is dining perfection.

We ordered take out. We got home and found approximately 2 spoonfuls of the rice in the rice containers, 4 French Fries in each of the kids containers. What a joke, how much does rice and fries cost? Why be like that, no excuse! The pasta with chicken and Shrimp had very little chicken and absolutely NO shrimp.

When I found out Walk-Ons has been opened recently in Cape Coral, I was excited to try this joint out! The story of how Walk-ons was conceived was an amazing story! Two LSU walk-Ons on the way back from a match against Tennessee draw on a napkin of layout of a Sports Bar or Sports Bistreaux. The motto was beside the Sports, you want to Eat like a winner, drink like a champ! Since it is LSU, it is closely tied to Louisiana Cajun style cuisine! I was flying solo and walked in for lunch. It has an inside bar as well as outside patio area and a main dining area as well a party or private area. Giant TVs mounted so you can watch your favorite games! I sit in one of booth in the bar area. I started with a Yuengling and a cup of crawfish etouffee. No words required for my Yuengling but the etouffee is delicious! The rice, crawfish, flour, garlic, onion and Cajun seasoning blended well together! For my main lunch item, I have Devils on Horseback, grilled shrimp wrapped with bacon, jalapenos, cream cheese and honey over a bed of chopped cabbage! It is crunchy with a spicy sweet and sour sauce! It hits the spot! The service is exceptional and friendly. This is a hidden gem in Cape Coral! Definitely, will be back with friends!

Nice new sport Bistreaux with good creole food New Orleans flare. 52 something TVs in the whole place , and nice cold beer ! My partner loved his fish he said it was very fresh ! I got the cheese logs and wings they was good. The service was great , it was spotless. Nice creole lady walking around cleaning the place they was decorating the Christmas tree when we got there. It's very family friendly! They have a point system/ app so that's fun.

Walk On's Cape Coral Stopped by on a Friday night about 6ish. This place was packed and going at full throttle. We seemed to get one of the last booths in the front area. This place has an open concept and is a tad bit noisy inside. They also have a large outside Patio Bar area with TV's. I counted over 50 TV's through out the dinning areas which all had some kind of Sports programming on them. It was very clean and neat for all the activity going on. Our waitress Maddison came over right away, introduced herself and took our drink ours. Once back she took our food orders. We ordered the 12-piece Wings for appetizers. I ordered the Bayou Pasta which consisted of Creamy Crawfish Linguine Topped with Blackened Jumbo Shrimp. My wife ordered the Mardi Gras Salmon which consisted of Hot Honey Glazed Grilled Salmon with Mango Salsa and Broccoli. Maddison ask if we wanted the Wings first, we stated yes. (I liked that as most places don't ask) Our Wings came out fast for as busy as they were. The Wings were fantastic, they were big, juicy, and hot just the way we like them. Maddison stopped by to ask how they were and if we needed anything. Our main dishes came out in very reasonable time after that. My Bayou Pasta looked amazing, and it was. The Linguine was perfectly seasoned with a hit of heat and the Blackened Shrimp were done perfect. My wife's Salmon was also very good done perfect and seasoned to perfection. Both our dished were hot and filled up our plates and well as our bellies. Maddison could not have treated us any better as she checked on us many times even though the place was packed. You must stop by and try this place for sure you will not be sorry. I give this place 5 out of 5 stars. Follow Me On FB For More Reviews & Fun Gulf Coast Terry

Good food Good service Cool vibe Came here to have lunch with my husband and parents. Nice little spot off Pine Island Road... A tad pricey but I guess that's everywhere these days. Food was good. Service was good. Lots of TVs for sports fans... A nice new spot for North Cape for sure

The burger was really messy, and the waiter rushed us out the door. Good quality, but another downside is that you can only get Medium--no medium rare disappointment.

Food was served fast and fresh. Great menu items and lots of options for people who don't eat beef or pork. The cocktail menu was excellent. We sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine. Server was great.

Had some free beer medallions so decided to stop in. Nice clean place. Quiet atmosphere with several TVs tuned to sports stations. We split the special 2 sliders, 3 mozzarella sticks and 7 boneless wings with a side of waffle fries. We shared this and it was plenty. The food came out quickly and hot and was delicious. The bar tender was great. She was serving several people at a time and was awesome. So the service is exceptional as well.

My rewards that I can't use cause we brought guest that are reward members as well and only one can be used!

I want to start by saying the management team and staff here have always treated me and my guests with respect, and this review is NOT about them. They took the time to explain the situation, and I genuinely appreciate their professionalism. But corporate needs to get their head out of the sand, because this policy makes absolutely zero sense. Every time I come here, I bring friends and family. Well over 12 guest at a time and more. We all order our own entrées, drinks, and we all pay separately. I typically spend well over $150 every visit, not including tip. My guests spend their own money as well. We're loyal customers who have supported this place consistently. So explain to me why only ONE rewards member is allowed to use their points or rewards at a table, even if we have separate checks? How is it fair that just because we sit at the same table, my friends get penalized and can't use their own rewards--even though they are paying for themselves? If that's the rule, then technically we'd have to sit at two different tables, two tables apart, just to use the rewards we earned. That's ridiculous. The whole point of having multiple loyal customers is that we EACH get to use OUR OWN rewards on OUR OWN tabs. This policy punishes people for bringing business to the restaurant. It makes absolutely no sense from a customer-service standpoint, and corporate really needs to rethink it. Until this is fixed, I won't be returning. The staff is great, but this rewards program policy is complete nonsense.

We came for dinner around 6 PM and were seated right away despite the restaurant being full. The space is clean, modern, and has a casual sports bar feel with TVs everywhere. Our server was friendly and attentive. I ordered a cocktail from the menu, but they didn't have the ingredients to make it, so I chose a different one. It tasted good but seemed light on alcohol. Everyone enjoyed their meals--my avocado chicken sandwich was especially tasty. I later tried another menu drink from the bar, but again it seemed to lack alcohol. Still, we'll definitely be back to try more dishes.

This is one of the best places in Cape Coral to eat. I highly recommend it. Not all dishes are 100% Cajun.

OOPS, I did it again. I ordered the oysters. Darn fine oysters. For my main, I ordered their Gumbo. The Gumbo is unusual in that there was no shrimp or fish, just sausage. It was delicious. Mrs. K. ordered a fish sandwich; she did not eat it. She said it had an extreme fishy taste. I was asked to taste it; I declined. I did smell it; it smelled fishy. Cod should not present a problem.

I also ordered hog fish * a Fl delicacy described as follows: Considered superior in taste and texture, often marketed as the "filet mignon of the sea". Well folks I was served tilapia and charged $28 for a $7 dollar dish. I hope the owner is reading this because you know it's dead wrong. I questioned the waitress Staci because I know this was bogus. Not her fault she does not run the kitchen. I did tell her I planned on reviewing the experience...... after 2 bites I took the food to go so I could prove that they knowingly price gouge customers. I was shocked to learn that misrepresenting fish in FL is considered a food violation and a finable offense....now i have evidence so let's see where this goes. Anyway guys when you go to Salty Papa order chicken wings and cheap drinks others they will try to scam you. See pics of tilapia vs their hogfish *same cheap fish. Also adding pics of real delicacy. This place is a fraud. Owner left a very aggressive response. Not sure why when you got your $28 and I left my phone number. No need to be Sassy if you are really customer satisfaction tag you're it. Enjoy your weekend!

So you have to ask people at your table if they'll go in to get the side you want. Because the "side" was such a large portion. Disappointing. This should be changed immediately. I had the country fried steak. It was ok. Gravy stated white peppercorn gravy. It was not white. But it tasted ok. Much better than the gravy that came on the potatoes. It was NOT good. My husband had the chicken and waffles. He liked it. Our other party had pot roast and they said the seasoning was a very unusual flavor. Not tasty. Potatoes and carrots were not cooked throughout. Liver and onions were good. The corn bread was good. Our server, Luke was cordial however it appeared that we irritated him. I caught him talking about us to another server and the cook as they all turned and looked us. Maybe I'm reading into it but based on other reviews I read I think they were being negative about our group. ‍ Anyway I would not recommend this restaurant and I'm sorry I didn't listen to the other reviews.
