During an era of brickbats flying about, I would like to toss a bouquet of roses to Precision…read moreTransmission, owner Rick Duttine and son Rayn. On October 17, 2016 the battery on my 2002 Ford Explorer expired. I was fortunate that Precision Transmission was just across the street and willing to help in attempting to jump start my battery, however to no avail. Rick and Rayn were gracious enough to extend their hours of service while we traveled to/fro purchase a battery. Upon our return to their place of business Rayn was kind enough to install our new battery. I recommend without hesitation Precision Transmission to anyone requiring auto/transmission service. A.C. I should have taken that as a bad omen, but I gave y'all the benefit of the doubt. Attempt #2: made a morning appointment for drop-off. Went back to pick it up later that day, and looked like the vehicle hadn't moved. Well, that's because it hadn't. Due to a "mix-up," the vehicle wasn't serviced. All damn day, and no one had one single thought as to whose responsibility that might be. The suggested resolution was to leave the vehicle there overnight, with the people who forgot to service my car in the first place, with all the faith and hope in the world that they'll somehow remember to service the vehicle the next day. Um, no. That actually felt pretty shady, honestly. Between all of these attempts, we wasted 4 hours in driving time going back and forth to the garage for absolutely no reason other than to piss me off. That's what you get with these corporate outfits, and that's what I get for not doing my research on this company. They don't give a shit about you as a customer, and they certainly don't value your business. They treat their employees like shit, which leads to poor service and high turnover. All that matters is making money for the dear, almighty shareholders. They have to invent new ways to overcharge and overprice in order to do it. It's literally the business model. They don't need a loyal customer base, just desperate people who need their vehicles fixed. People are always desperate and in need of vehicle repair. It's kinda like the healthcare "industry." And watch, corporate will respond with some bullshit boiler plate response, "We are so sorry we didn't provide satisfactory service. Please waste more of your time talking to us about it on the phone so we can do absolutely nothing to fix it." It goes something like that I'm sure. (Update, you can see they responded with exactly that)(Y'all can get fucked) The evils of capitalism are on full display here. Save yourself the time and money, and stay the hell away from this place.

I have never had this type of charge before. This is not typical in all of the tires I have purchased from competitors across the eastern seaboard. I will say the work was completed in a timely manner, not sure the correct psi was put in the tires because the the tire warning light came on

Midway Ford's "lounge" room is pretty mid with its dusty coffee shelf, Krusty Keurig and mismatched seats. Not the way I'd go next time. The service was fine, but like most dealerships, I lost my shirt and even a layer of my own skin on the labor rates. The lady who answers the phone is professional and polished - so much so that it's almost frightening. I'll be back once the world ends and my buddy's frozen turkey legs are the only food sources left.

So the "change oil soon" light comes on yesterday on my F-150 Lariat and I've got a 6 hour drive home Sunday. And I like to take care of my truck. Midway Ford worked me right in today for oil and filter change and tire rotation. Super friendly people, from the service group to the ladies in the checkout area. Nice clean shop (and waiting area). Awesome sales guy as well. Right near the aisle coming into the showroom and in front of the (Awesome) custom Bronco. I'd buy a truck from him any day! Relatively quick service especially since they worked me in. Excellent value, and it's genuine Ford service. Highly recommended and I would definitely use these guys all the time if I lived up here.
