Brewery #388 This was my favorite brewery of the 7 I visited on my past trip to the Houston area. It's a small place but the tap list was large, the atmosphere was relaxing with plants everywhere (bonus points since my girlfriend is a botanophile....that's a big word for lover of plants), and there were hiking pictures everywhere. I got a flight and sat outside. The flight included 6 beers (SCORE!) 4 IPA's, a stout and a hefeweizen but you can get unlimited 4 oz beers. All of them really good Humboldt Hazy being my favorite. It was delicious, hoppy, juicy glass of perfection. The beertenders were very friendly and knowledgeable. They have food trucks that park out front plus there are other eateries down the street. Really cool place

I definitely need to come back to try more drinks ! We came after a work event, and had a hard time getting everyone parked . There was free street parking and some of the closer pots were pay to park. I ended up in a lot that was around $18 which was excessive Other than the parking situation, we had a great time. There's a food truck on site with burgers and hot dogs. They have seating inside, out front , and in back. There was also live music when we were there. I opted for their mocktail with their flavored ice cubes which was delicious, refreshing, and fun. It's dog and kid friendly Overall a good time !

Just come and you'll see why it's 5 stars.. Vibes and ambiance on 1000x I enjoyed the smooth Jazz and a pikes peak.

I really enjoyed our visit! Beautiful, large, patio. This place really caters to young family with kids. Although I came childless, there was a gaggle of kids in front of us and it was so cute because they were buying the cheap popsicles. The bartender was kindly patient with them. I was pretty full so I ordered a strawberry pineapple, seltzer which was surprisingly delicious! There was a food truck out front too. This would be a great place to meet up with a big group of friends.

Very cool vibe and super friendly staff! This is a great location to hang out with friends and a good cold beer. I really enjoyed their Crestone!

Lots of styles, classic and modern. Get a flight to try as much as possible. Everything I had was well executed, but my favorites were the Blnde, ESB and Saison, which are not usually my favorite styles. Try them!

If you're in the neighborhood, this is a great casual spot to grab a drink! Lots of outdoor space and indoor seating too. Plenty of seating and dog- friendly too! Stopped by for a glass of wine and it was lovely. Would definitely come back. Quick and friendly service!

Great local neighborhood brewery! All the beers I tried were amazing (I love IPAs). Family oriented feel and the staff was very friendly. They have food trucks, Chef Marcela's Kitchen was there and the had tasty healthy options (staff here was also super friendly). I'll definitely be coming back to unwind here with (or maybe without) the family!

    $4 until 4pm on a Monday.

Solid beers. Great ambiance. I felt like I was in Colorado. Came in the middle of the day on a Monday.

I live near here and enjoy coming to the brewery for a couple drinks. I am not a beer drinker AT ALL, so what makes this place great is they make their own seltzer and they're both delicious. My favorite is the Hibistrus which is hibiscus and citrus mixed. The also serve wine if you're a wine-o. My husband likes their beer, but other than that I can't add much about it since I don't drink. Really one of the only negatives I have of The Stick is that their drinks are a bit pricey for a brewery. All pours are $8 which I think is a bit higher than average. The vibe is chill and family friendly though the back (maybe it's the front) patio is more of friendly, even having play equipment. It's decorated in a Colorado outdoorsy theme. My main reason for liking Walking Stick is I agree with their philosophies. They're all about creating a safe space for everyone, host lots of events and activities, and on Wednesdays they give away their floral arrangements. Amazing! They even provide snacks (chips) - one per drink, which is helpful to soak up those drinks. The staff has always been wonderful and very kind. I am a repeat customer and will continue to be.

Great beer options, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and great service. My favorite pour was their sour beer!

We stopped in and I asked if they did flights and I simply got a rude "nope" and the guy just looked away. So I ordered a Happy Accidents pale ale that was decent. I asked if they had stickers and I got the same "Nope". I asked if they ever had them or if they were just out, "out" was the reply. Not exactly a chatty guy. So, this most recent visit, I came with a couple buddies. We stopped in before the World Baseball Classic. Still no flights and still no stickers. (The stickers are important for my garage man cave wall!). However, the beertender was a much friendlier lady this time and I got an orange fudge stout that wasn't very good. The place itself is pretty cool for the most part. Really big outdoor area with a bunch of shipping containers turned patio covers. There are a bunch of pinball machines, and the decor is fun. They are also heavy on the cannabis side of things. Areas for improvement: Get some stickers offer flights so people can try your beers parking sucks

They prepared my food ahead of time. Pizzas, Brussels sprouts that we all fought over, hummus, nachos, and 3 sets of wings. When we arrived the tables had reserved signs with our group name. It was 3pm so we were all starving. We ordered drinks at the bar and some of my group members pointed out all the pride flags making them feel welcome and happy to patronize this place. People commented on the ginger beer and loved every single thing on our tables. Most awesome is that they didn't want a deposit two weeks before when I called even though I offered since they were making so much food for 20. I wanted them to know we were really going to show up. As a group of artists, we loved the artwork especially the mural with Houston letters. We took a group photo and some of us headed back on the road to SA completely satisfied. Others loved the vibe of the place and neighborhood and decided to stay longer and explore some more. Thank you Gristworkz!

The beer selection is solid with plenty of options whether you're in the mood for something crisp, hoppy, or a little adventurous. Food-wise, the wings and fries came out exactly how they should--hot, crispy, and perfect with a cold pint. Nothing fancy needed when the basics are done right. But what really made the experience stand out was the hospitality. Gabe behind the bar was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and the kind of bartender who makes you feel like you've been coming there for years. By the end of the night it honestly felt like we were regulars. Great beer, hot food, and top-tier service. That's a recipe for a place I'll definitely be back to.

The patio is huge, and they recently added covered lounge areas with heaters, which makes it comfortable year-round. There are TVs everywhere, and they show plenty of local games, including rugby. The first time that I went there, I went by myself and had a seat at the bar. The bartender was attentive and greeted me when I say down. I ordered some beers and a hot dog with chili. Both the beers and hot dog were great after the three hour bus ride I just took. The third time that I went there, I went with my friend and we had a seat at the bar. This was our last night in Houston and we decided to have a few drinks before our trip ended. I got a beer in their special St. Patrick's Day glass. The bartender was again attentive and it was a good night. Looking back, I guess both my first and last stops in Houston were here. The second time that I came here was also with my friend and we sat at a table to order food. The waitress was great and kept checking on us. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was crispy and tasty. This is the only part that I had an issue with from the restaurant. At some point during my second visit, a woman came into the restaurant with her pants covered in poop. She left and then came back another time and walked among the tables. The bartender eventually escorted her out. Here is why I am still giving this place 4 stars after this. The service and food was still good even and I had two uneventful visits.
