Great atmosphere and great beer. There's conveniently a pizza joint next door that you can order/pay at the bar and they'll bring it over.

The beer selection is solid with plenty of options whether you're in the mood for something crisp, hoppy, or a little adventurous. Food-wise, the wings and fries came out exactly how they should--hot, crispy, and perfect with a cold pint. Nothing fancy needed when the basics are done right. But what really made the experience stand out was the hospitality. Gabe behind the bar was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and the kind of bartender who makes you feel like you've been coming there for years. By the end of the night it honestly felt like we were regulars. Great beer, hot food, and top-tier service. That's a recipe for a place I'll definitely be back to.

Great little brewery that serves excellent craft beer and surprisingly good food. We come here…read moreevery chance we get, especially since it's right in our neighborhood. The staff is generally friendly and welcoming, and even though I'm not a big beer head anymore, I still enjoy most of their offerings. Their food menu is solid: they have wings, burgers, and more--but my favorite is the steak sandwich with fries. It never disappoints. The brewery itself is also a great place to hang out. The patio is huge, and they recently added covered lounge areas with heaters, which makes it comfortable year-round. There are TVs everywhere, and they show plenty of local games, including rugby. They used to support the Sabercats back when they were still around. Overall, it's a reliable neighborhood brewery that's firmly in our regular rotation. You can also get their in cans to go if you want to!

Came to Houston in March for the World Baseball Classic and went here three times during the week…read morethat I was here. The first time that I went there, I went by myself and had a seat at the bar. The bartender was attentive and greeted me when I say down. I ordered some beers and a hot dog with chili. Both the beers and hot dog were great after the three hour bus ride I just took. The third time that I went there, I went with my friend and we had a seat at the bar. This was our last night in Houston and we decided to have a few drinks before our trip ended. I got a beer in their special St. Patrick's Day glass. The bartender was again attentive and it was a good night. Looking back, I guess both my first and last stops in Houston were here. The second time that I came here was also with my friend and we sat at a table to order food. The waitress was great and kept checking on us. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was crispy and tasty. This is the only part that I had an issue with from the restaurant. At some point during my second visit, a woman came into the restaurant with her pants covered in poop. She left and then came back another time and walked among the tables. The bartender eventually escorted her out. Here is why I am still giving this place 4 stars after this. The service and food was still good even and I had two uneventful visits. This visit, I just happened to sit at a table closest to the door. If you want to make sure you don't have an experience like this, you can sit at the bar, or upstairs or further away from the front door. I recommend this place for a great selection of beer, great staff and great food.
