I was very pleasantly surprised at the excellent Chinese lunch I had today with my friend, Jason. He had been there often and said I must try it. Best hot and sour soup..maybe tastier than P F. Chang's. The egg rolls were rolled thinly, perfectly fried and chock-full of tasty veggies. Jason had fried rice with chicken..plentiful and delicious. Prices were great, too. The cafe is very clean. This place is not an authentic Chinese restaurant nor is it meant to be an authentic experience. The restaurant is a fast food americanized establishment. With that being said, as long as you go into it knowing what to expect it was ok. I had the sesame chicken and orange chicken. Sesame chicken was very sweet and gelatinous. Orange chicken had a very strong bell pepper flavor, was also very sweet and gelatinous. Once again though, knowing what to expect changes the experience. I visited the Wall Chinese Café on 08/31 and it was horrible. I ordered Mongolian Beef extra spicy and it did not taste like Chinese food, The food was too Americanized. The beef was very tough and chewy. Mongolian Beef usually contains a lot of onions and this was different winter stewing vegetables that were mushy in texture and that had been cooked too long. Also the sauce was more like a package of Gravy mix and I ask for extra spicy and there was no heat to be tasted. Reviews were ok so while passing by decided to give it a try... ordered 2 shrimp dishes to go, got home and all looked good? Started digging around in my dish and dug out 5 tiny shrimp(wtf) so asked wife how many she had and she dug out 6 from her rice??? So I will not base my future visit on this poor experience but if this happens again I'm out.... staff is friendly and courteous and in-dining looks clean, portions are normal size and prices are a tad high compared to the place across the street... read more

I absolutely love this place. Whenever I crave Chinese, I always come here because it is pretty addicting! My favorites are the schezuan chicken, egg rolls, and their cream cheese fried wontons. If you have not been here, you should totally check it out because it is delicious! read more

Good little Chinese food place. Prices are good and portions are plentiful. The chicken fried rice is good and you get a big mound of it on your plate. You order at the counter and they bring your order to you. Service has always been nice here. read more

Wow! This place definitely raised the standard for quick Chinese food. Dare I say the quality of the food is equivalent to a some nice Chinese restaurants in Garland/Richardson?! Perhaps that is a little bit of a stretch, but the food is seriously good and fresh. I think what separates this place with many other Chinese restaurants such as Panda Express or all the restaurants with title something "Wok" are their standards (not just in food but also service). As I sat and enjoyed my dinner with my wife for about an hour on a Saturday night, I noticed the employees paid close attention to the customers in case they need something. For example, the table a few row down was planning to split their food and the employee saw that and came with a plate and extra utensil without being asked! Half of the Pho restaurants that I go to don't even notice me when I'm waiving my hands in the air like I'm at a Jason Mraz concert. Another reason that makes me praise this restaurant so much is their cleanliness. I've NEVER EVER been to a cleaner "Chinese restaurant." When you think of Chinese restaurant, you typically think.. messy...unorganized.. cluttered.. tacky decor. The Wall is definitely not like that. I would say this restaurant is your "Chik-Fil-A" of fast food or "Raising Cane" of fried chicken. Overall 5 Stars across the board for high food quality, high customer service, and cleansiness. Egg drop soup is amazing but everything else is bland. I might be spoiled since one of my friends is from China and another from Japan and I have had their cooking, the wall is dry and egg rolls seem store bought. I love love lomein noodles and theirs are dry and have minimal meat and veggies in it, all noodle. I even have to ask for extra veggies and sauce and it's still dry. I will go for the soup but nothing else. read more

Wow! What a disappointment-this is a usually great place for Chinese, but this time it was awful ! Large helpings but nothing had any taste. Their egg rolls were overcooked as well as tasteless. The food is fresh and served fast in good amount for what you pay. The quality is excellent and the service is polite. One warning I have though is to take their spicy warning seriously. I enjoy my food to have some bite to it and have been eating Hunan and Szechuan style Chinese food since I was a child in Hawaii. But the Garlic Beef I ordered because it has always been a favorite at other places had a heat level that was uncomfortable to the point of nearly inedible. What I was able to eat I could tell they were using good quality product but just very heavy handed with the hot pepper sauce. Again I am not coming from a point where I don't like heat as I have grown my own Habanero peppers to include in my own cooking and make a kung pao dish at home using dried Chinese peppers. But there is heat that complements a dish and heat that overwhelms and they overwhelmed it. read more

Do not go here. They messed up my wife's order. Charged our card for over $100. My wife goes back when her food was made wrong. Manager threw attitude like it was our fault. I used to like this place, but would recommend finding another place. Never have we been treated like trash. read more

This have been my favorite go to spot for Chinese food for 4 years!!! My favorite meal is Orange Chicken combo with an egg roll and cream cheese Rangoon!! This place is hit and miss. Orange chicken was not good, but the fried rice is great. Large portion sizes, so one order is enough for two. Egg drop is good. I'll try more, but the fried rice in all its varieties is enough to bring me back. read more
