Deffinetly a bigger bagel than average, but nothing more than a supermarket quality bagel at best. In fact, it's nothing even close to a true authentic NY bagel. No great texture, chew, or taste. Also, their hero rolls (which also weren't traditional NY rolls) got moldy within 2 days of purchasing, and had to be thrown out. Sadly disappointed. Go to Bagel Boss for a more real deal NY bagel. read more

I used to love this place. I come here multiple times a week even though there's another bagel place literally across the street from my house. I don't know what's happened recently, but every single time I order an egg sandwich the eggs are extremely undercooked. They're slimy and the egg whites aren't cooked at all. I've even asked for my eggs 'well done' to compensate for them not cooking the eggs and they still come out raw. I've given Wally's about 10 chances now to do better with the eggs but it's just too consistently undercooked that I can't come here anymore. Sad to go across the street from now on read more

First let me start by saying that Wally's bagels are made fresh and are delicious. My issue is that the staff who prepares the food is the same one who takes the payment; whether it is by credit card or cash. Here lies the problem they use the same gloves to collect the money and prepare the food. They do not change their gloves. Make note the next time you are there. This is such a dangerous practice. Wally's should have an employee at the cash register to accept all payments. Please implement this before a customer gets very sick. read more

Stopped in for bagels after landing at JFK. Service was excellent, everyone was very friendly. Everything bagel, toasted with cream cheese was amazing. Iced coffee was great too. This place is pretty small and was pretty busy. But we were out in under 10 mins. Can't wait to come back. Would recommend! read more

This place has amazing bagels! And there are so many types of different spreads for the bagels. I have never had any there that I didnt like. It's a great spot for weekend bagels for the family. Love this bagel place, no sitting area tho. Just order and go. They are quick. As for the bagel, I got a rainbow bagel and funfetti cream cheese. Don't forget to say toasted because toasting the bagel makes a huge difference. I love the color of the rainbow bagel and the bagel was fresh. Bagels are great, staff is great. I go to Wally's often since I live nearby. There is one female manager is that very rude to her staff and it makes me uncomfortable to see. My husband brought home a omelette with turkey bacon and home fries and a pumpernickel bagel with butter and two coffees. I was looking forward to what he was going to bring home. Omg there was no omelette I don't know what it was no flavor meat is cheap and it was so dry. The home fries has so much color idk what they season it with cause it was so bland and turkey bacon was blah. The coffee was okay but they need a better stronger coffee. Not only was this the only bagel place open on Christmas morning but when I opened the door and saw a minimum of 15 people on line ahead of me (the line was so long that it wrapped around the store, the first on line and last on line we're standing next to each other), I thought to myself, I'll be here for an hour! NOPE! They had about 8 people working behind the counter.....I was in and out in less than 10 min AND they still gave 2 extra bagels if you ordered a dozen! I just got breakfast from here. Man what a gem. Got eggs, cheddar, bacon and a mini bagel. Everything was cooked perfectly. The bagel was soft like a pillow. The butter was the exact type that should be used. Yes butter no margarine!! They were so friendly AND you get a free drink. Oh and endlesss types of bagels. Some I've never seen before. If I lived closer I would come here all the time. I guess that's a good thing cuz you would have to roll me in lol. OMG I almost forgot to add the chocolate crumb cake. Probably the best bagels in Suffolk County that I have had :) (I do consider myself to be a bagel connoisseur lol) The bagels are large with the perfect amount of firmness on the outside and softness on the inside yum yum yum! They also have a good selection of bagels and cream cheeses. The downside is that the store is very small inside (see pics). There is no inside seating and is purely a "to go" place. As the place is so good there is always a line particularly on the weekends so get there early or call ahead! read more

was in babylon this morning for a pickup and decided to stop by wally's! first off - this place has some cool options for bagels! of course they have all the regulars - poppy, sesame, plain, etc, but they also have blueberry, strawberry (which i have NEVER seen), sunflower seed (also never seen!), rainbow, and - the one i tried this morning - pumpkin! we got a pumpkin bagel with cream cheese, sunflower seed bagel with butter, & a poppyseed bagel with butter. the pumpkin bagel had a slight sweetness and it tasted REALLY good! next time i definitely want to try it with their walnut raisin cream cheese! my mom enjoyed the sunflower seed bagel and said that it had a really good flavor! the poppyseed bagel was also good and has a LOT of poppy seeds on it! we also got coffees which were just typical bagel store coffees. our bagel lady was also super nice. she made sure to write down everything we wanted (coffees with almond milk, different bagel toppings, etc) and everything was perfect! definitely want to come back and try their bagel sammies! read more

Can bigger sometimes be better? That's a debate that's best left unsettled at Wally's Bagels where they do things in a big way in North Babylon. The bagels here are HUGE! Sorry. Had to use all caps for that one. I've never seen such large bagels and such a wide variety as well. They had everything bagels, everything whole wheat bagels, french toast bagels, egg sesame bagels, egg onion, and even egg bacon bagels. Of course, they also had a wide variety of cream cheeses as well. I stuck with my usual everything bagel with jalapeno cream cheese. Not only was the bagel massive, but they slathered on about an inch width of cream cheese. A little too much for my taste. How was the quality? Not bad. Not bad at all. My only complaint was that the bagel was not warm at all and coupled with the cold cream cheese, it only emphasized how room temperature the whole bagel experience was. Also, don't expect to sit down as this tiny place only has room to stand in line with no seating or bathroom. Aside from that, this is a great place to come to if you are in this neck of the woods. Bagel making is an ancient skill and the Babylonians here have continued that tradition within the civilization of Long Island. read more

I love this place for breakfast (all day). The crew moves like a well oiled machine! The line can be out the door most of the time but it moves fast because of the high efficiency operation it is. Kudos to whomever trains the staff! I love the (chock full of) chicken salad with jalepenos and hot sauce on a roll for lunch. For breakfast I tend to order the same thing. What is striking is the staff have a great memory and can multi-task or else they wouldn't be there! I don't want to burst anyone's bubble, but this place did not live up to all the hype. I didn't want to write a mediocre review for this place. I wanted to love is so bad! I love breakfast sandwiches, so I decided to try this place on two separate occasions before I wrote a review. The bagels? Meh. Both times I ate from here, they were on the dryer side. It didn't have the taste or consistency of an authentic NY bagel. Something about it was off. My First visit, I ordered an everything bagel. Second, a plain. I had both sandwiches topped with two eggs scrambled with well done bacon (I like it crispy). And unfortunately, both times the bacon did not come out well done. I do want to take the time to say that the customer service was great, and all staff were friendly dispite the place being extremely busy. You do feel a bit rushed coming here, but that's only because the line is almost always out the door. Despite it being so busy, I was always greeted with a smile. Sorry Wally's, I gave it a fair try! It's a possibility I may come in once again, but it won't be my first choice for breakfast. read more

Accidentally ordered 2 dozen when the app added my previous order to my current order. There was no option to cancel or revise incorrect orders in the app. Wally's does not have "light" (lower calorie) cream cheese, which is available at other bagel stores in the vicinity. read more
