Consistent quality pizza. Pizza was cooked to perfection (well done, as requested) not over cooked but cooked enough to teacup most of the pepperoni. They rarely have slices and when they do, which hasn't happened in awhile when I've been in, they're not too happy that you're buying a slice. When they don't have a slice they seem angry that you would even ask about it. I'm sorry for not being rich/overweight enough to buy a whole pie just for myself, but do you really have to have such an attitude about it? Full transparency, this was our go to pizza place growing up and it's literally a rocks throw from my childhood home. That being said, I've lived in many areas of Buffalo and tried many a slice of pizza and Roz's is still the best. Their pizza is consistently good. Their wings are also consistently good. They embody the idea of a small Buffalo pizzeria and are a community staple in South Cheektowaga. They have char cup pepperoni, a Buffalo favorite. Their prices are competitive. Although this isn't the place to go to get incredible customer service, or anything with the fringes, it's still a "have to have at least once" (and then you keep coming back) for every Buffalonian. Let me say Roz delivered, well actually it was a pick up order but you get it. Double order of medium, extra crispy wings and a antipasto salad. Ready in a half hour. Piping hot when we got home to dig in. The antipasto was average, bagged salad topped with olives, tomatoes (sparse), banana and sweet peppers and various deli meats and pepperoni. I needed vegetables and it hit the spot although I would have liked cheese and garbanzo beans. The wings however were meaty, extra crispy yet moist and perfectly sauced. We ordered takeout from here just recently. Actually, it is just a takeout restaurant. I ordered a pizza with extra sauce and pepperoni, I really liked the sauce and the pizza in general! We also ordered a steak and chicken finger sub, I really liked the sub, the quality of steak was superb and I'm not even a big steak person. Roz's Pizza is a legend in South Cheektowaga/West Seneca. This place is family owned and operated and has been in business for as long as I can remember. Our family has been ordering from them since the '70s. Their subs are out of this world, especially the steak hoagie or chicken finger. They will make pretty much any combination that you ask for. The most important thing about this pizzeria is their consistency and accuracy. You will never have an order with anything wrong on it! Their pizza is OK, not the best in Buffalo but far from the worst. Their sauce is a little boring and can sometimes be watery. But big props to them for making homemade dough. You will see the gigantic dough mixer in the front. I do wish they made chicken finger pizza, though. Their chicken wings are delicious. Highly recommended, overall one of the best pizzerias in all of Buffalo. (Update on 1/11/2014): Their pizza has significantly improved. They changed their sauce and it is now thicker and has a very zesty and delicious flavor. Two thumbs up! I now regularly order their pizza. read more

We order from here often. Moved further away but still go. They were cash only since they opened. Now they accept credit cards. They are a little higher priced but honestly it's well worth it. Their pizza is always the perfect crust. Not too thin. The wings we usually get are BBQ. Some of the best wings from a pizzeria. The staff is usually never very friendly. It's been the same people since I've tried Roz's in 2002. They are kind of in a hidden area off Kelly Dr in Cheektowaga but if you do get the chance to try them I am sure you won't be disappointed. read more

I was excited to get some wings from Roz's after a positive recommendation. Came on here and got excited thinking 20 wings would only be $13 and change. I was a bit surprised to be rang up for 20 wings at $23 and change (upcharge for 10 being char broiled). Came back and saw that the previous pictures were from over 3 years ago. Oops. The wings, despite their high price, were great. Char BBQ had nice sear lines, thick caramelized sauce, and weren't overcooked. Hot wings were your perfect traditional hot. Three years ago they were advertised as "largest wings in town," and now they're "largest wings available." The former title wouldn't be true anymore, but they are a little on the bigger side of average. In the store, they had multiple signs talking about how much wholesale chicken prices have gone up in the last few years. Clearly, they get some flak for being significantly more expensive than average, but given that other places sell 20 for $15-17, it feels more like an excuse. I wish I could rate 3.5 stars for this reason. I'm not sure what the other complaints about friendliness are about. The girl on the phone I placed my order with was nice, and so was the presumed owner who collected payment and gave me the order. For this and because you get Ken's, celery AND carrots, I'll round up to 4. TL;DR: The wings are good, but not good enough to justify their premium. read more

My neighbor asked if I wanted to split a pizza with him. I said sure go get it and I'll go in half. After I ate my slices I asked him where he got it from, he said Roz's, off French Rd. Are you kidding..this place absolutely sucketh. Buy a Tops or Wegmans pizza before buying here. I've had fly pies( the little suckers still fliting around on top of the pizza. Thank god the OP location closed. They were difficult to deal with, not that this location is any better. Their pizza is like cocaine. After you think you've had enough, you walk by the box and think, "I need one more." It might even be better at room temperature than it is fresh out of the oven. Customer service is hilariously bad, but that's only something miserable people worry about. Wings are good, especially the char-b-q. I've been buying their Pizza since the '80's and it's always the best . However don't get their wings. Today's wings, ordered medium, were pale, no sauce, with 2 wings having sharp broken bones and one wasn't even separated, It was a whole wing piece. We called to complain and even as a long time customer were told" too bad", they said they always make their wings the same and indicated we were lying". Excellent service, best fresh baked pizza for the best price in Buffalo! I asked about their hours since they changed them a while back and they said that they take their last order at 8:30 but close down until 9 on weekdays and on Friday and Saturday they take their last order at 9 and clean/ close up at 9:30! Awful place. Not only are they extremely rude on the phone when taking your order, they are equally as ignorant in person when picking it up. Especially the skinny older man with glasses. Just ordered a ham sub. It was,without a doubt,the worse sub I ever had. Paid $8.50 and tossed 2/3 in the garbage. I don't know if the lettuce was wet or the mayo was watered down but the whole sub was soggy. It had (a) tomato on it. Actually one slice cut into 4 pieces. 2 tiny pieces on each half. Ordered a large spinach pizza for $17.00!!! Their profit margin on this particular item has to be over 50%. It had about 10 small chunks of fresh tomato, perhaps no more than 1/2 cup spinach and most importantly - NO FLAVOR!!! Where was the garlic, and the blend of 3 cheeses. 5 people agreed it didn't taste of anything. read more
