I would give them 0 stars if i could..They were underquoting every customer and I had to wait 3+ hours to replace two tires....... are you kidding me.... this was literally the slowest service I've ever received in my life. WARNING, my review is completed bias! I reside in zipcode 75287 (Dallas, Tx) and within about a 15 mile radius there are about 5 or 6 Walmarts, all of which are the "super" version! However, there is one off Midway Rd. that is a "regular" Walmart, yet in their benefit there is a "Neighborhood Market" (Walmart grocery) store a block away. With that being said, I was really disappoint with my shopping experience at the Kingstowne, Va. location since they lack a grocery section. A part of me wants to "hate" Walmart b/c it's the world's largest retailer thanks to us regular folks, but apparently those great fortunes aren't trickling down to their employees pockets; lack of adequate pay is the only reason I can conceive why getting good service in a (any) Walmart is quite a feat! But I don't shop at Walmart for good service (i'm willing to sacrifice) b/c the prices usually can't be beat, add to that I'm used to the store having everything I need in one trip including groceries! So, when you take that factor away, shopping at Walmart seems pretty dismal and almost useless. Additionally this store is over-priced; since I live so close to many Walmarts, I've managed to price compare and realized a long time ago that Walmart isn't always cheap, especially when they don't have any real competition in the area ( another chain or even another Walmart in close proximity). read more

I don't see anything wrong with this Walmart and I come here plenty of times and if I have to say it's a lot better than other Walmarts I've been to and believe that this should have more stars than actually given. Disgusting is what comes to mind. I only go for cat food/supplies. I can't stand walking through the store. 1. it is always crowded --- people comes with their whole family, as if it is the outting of the day for them. 2. kids are running and screaming all over --- seriously, do they not know what an inside voice is? 3. it's dirty --- you can see and smell it as soon as you walk in 4. lines at the registers are usually long -- I always do the self-service line, but there are always people there who don't know how to scan their items or can't understands what the machine is asking them to do (SWIPE YOUR DARN CREDIT CARD AND HIT THE GREEN BUTTON!) Bottom line -- go if you must, know what you need and go directly to that aisle/section, leave as soon as possible. FYI -- this is not a Super Wal-Mart with tons of food/produce/etc. read more

The tire center is the worst!!!! It's obvious that they are super busy so why not install another computer and a second cashier. This is not my first time & I've given them a try a few times but it's always the same problem. The person at check in has to look up the information, cash people out, buzz them out the door, help customers over the phone and sometimes go to the back to check if they have specific tires in stock. Unfortunately I will not give them another try, I've spent too many numerous hours in this place. Today they didn't even remove the seat cover nor the mat cover. I went in to this place to simply buy some candy. As I was walking down the main isle I saw a Wall-Mart employee asking for donations for Children's Hospital. The moment that I walked passed her she started barking out horrible things. "This little bit has cancer", "this little girl has no arms and no legs", "this 6 year old is brain dead". At the same time, she was hold up pictures of these kids for all of the shoppers to see. I just thought that this was so vile and disgusting, and I still can't believe that Wal-Mart would allow this kind of behavior from their employees. I certainly didn't go to their store to be accosted by one of their employees and horrified by the photographs that were shoved in front of my face. I notified the store via their internal review system, but they never contacted me for more information, or to further explained what had happened. They don't care. read more

Almost 15 years back I wrote a paper on walmart in college. I was impressed then and remain a supporter with reservations. Walmart charges less but it appears their employees are not treated fairly. I trust walmart prices more than anyone else. It could be named wall of China as it's practically impossible to find anything not imported at a low price. I tried calling the store to see if they had any computer monitors in stock. I called and the phone just rang and rang for a few minutes. Someone answered and transferred me to electronics. After being on hold for 5 minutes, the same person came back on the line and said he can't transfer me and to hang up and call back. I hung up and called back and was transferred to electronics. The best time to go to this Walmart (if you can do so) is about 9 am on a weekday morning. I love being in there with the little old ladies pushing their shopping carts around. This particular trip was at night on a weekday. Most people in Walmart look confused (both employees and customers). I found what I needed and was able to check out fairly rapidly. I will say that no matter what time of day or night I go, they always seem to be stocking the shelves. It is really chaotic to do it when so many customers are in the store. My husband thinks that it smells bad at the main entrance, due to the nail salon and McDonalds located there. I never noticed - I normally get in and out as quickly as possible. I agree with other reviewers - the parking lot is a mess. I give the store an overall A-OK because the prices are reasonable and it is a pretty typical Walmart. read more

Why have three registers open and only one teller actually working. 7 o'clock in the morning two tellers stood there as I'm in line, and they are cleaning their conveyor belt not speaking English, not trying to make Eye contact, not trying to help me check out. I walk over to self check out where there is a register with a light on, only to find out it's gated off and the manager says that's only for employees then turn the light off because it's misrepresenting the self check out is available. I visited the car care center at the Kingstowne Walmart and it was a disaster. I spoke to Winifred at Apx 4:00p Friday afternoon. I explained I needed my front passenger tire replaced(it had a bubble) and my front driver side tire checked for possible replacement. He asked me and/or repeated my request at least 7 times, in return I repeated my request 7 times. I went home because the minimal wait is 4 or more hours. I received an update call at 8:30p. I returned the call the following morning and was unable to be transferred because the line was busy. I decided to just show up at 12:00p, assuming my car had to ready. I arrived and Manager Trainee Chris was unable to find my paperwork. He return after searching for 5 minutes explaining they call to tell me they were unable to fix my tire. I explain that I returned the call, but was unable to get through. He said we're busy (wow thanks for that info). I go on to say, I never asked to have my tire fixed and he said, that's what written on your paperwork. I explained that might be what's written, but that's not what I requested 7 times. He said they would bump me to the front of the line (the only sign of customer cars I received). I told Chris the problem was the language barrier and with all due respect I asked to communicate with someone that understood English. He looked at me like a deer in headlights. Chris was not empathetic, he did not apologize...nothing. I then explained to him and another employee what I needed. Chris walked away and 2 minutes later the employee came back to ask me what I needed. I wanted to SCREAM. Finally, at 2:00p I was able to leave with my car and 2 new tires after 22 hours. The only good thing that came to of this situation is that I met a pleasant young man. He arrived at 8:00a, made it to the counter at 9:00a and was still waiting to get 4 tires when I left at 2:00p. He was a pleasure to chat with and I hope he made it out unscathed. If at all possible, I will NEVER take my car to this car center again! read more

"oh, that's a third party website sir.. it's never accurate................". What??? I showed the staff member the website.. walmart.com... he just looked at me ever so confused.... I'm a long time customer at Walmart and have always had great experienced each time I visit the store. However, until my recent online order that was very frustrating. After 2 weeks of not knowing where my item was shipped to the store or not. Each time I call the store asking for status they put me on hold then hung up on me. When I went to the store every employee pass by to either ignore me or said they'll look for "someone" and to never returned. I get it that Walmart is a multimillionaire stores that losing one customer like me won't matter to them. But if this is how they treat me then I'm sure there are others might just be in the same situation as me. The MAIN problem I have it the customer service area. The lines are extremely long, EVERY TIME, and the workers seem very slow. I just left this Walmart. There were two receipt checkers at the exit door. I slowed down when walking up to the male receipt checker because they don't always ask for them if you don't have too much in your cart.. which I didn't. So I stopped and looked at him waiting to see if I had to pull out my receipt and and he waved me toward the door as I was walking through, the lady receipt checker started screaming. "M'AM, M'AM, Receipt! I tuned around to see if she was talking to me as I was outside already but she wasn't making eye contact with me at all just continuing to scream "M'AM RECIEPT! While checking another lady's reciept. I stood there confused and she looked at me and yelled "RE-CI-BO!" assuming that The reason I didn't walk back fast enough was because I didn't understand English! Smh She then waved me to come back in. I came back in and pulled out both of my receipts since she was literally yelling like I was some sort of perpetrator or something. And she snapped at me saying "I said RECIEPT, I don't need that one" (I had two purchases with two receipts, one was for multiple things, one was for one drink) and I replied, "you said Reciept, you didn't specify, so I'm giving you both" and she just repeated "I SAID RECIEPT, RECIEPT..
