    This Macys is huge! Great staff with cologne and suits. Have been very impressed with the folks here. Yet Macys is in a interesting position. They've done well, but inflation creep is real. They have raised a lot of prices. One thing I've noticed, is after a period of inflation, is rarely so prices go back to their regular amount. My concern is it won't at department stores, and other forms of business. As for the employees well done. This has to be the Macys with the best cologne section, but suit sizes have been disappointing. Also the same goes for active wear. Am a tall guy, but plenty of others exist. I do like the Toys R Us return. Best guess is this is just the beginning of something great, as they only have a few items thus far. If in the area this department store is quite decent.

    Sadly this location has become a bit of a dump. This is both with how well (or more accurately not) the store is stocked, but also how messy and disorganized it is. This is especially the case with Macys Backstage Pass, which is to be expected, but also the store overall. Further, the escalators are currently working but for THE longest time didn't work at all and one had to use the elevators to get to any of the two of the three upper levels. Some employees are nice, others can be rude. I tried to complain to a manager about how the posted hours were wrong as I got there when the store was closing and got such an inappropriate attitude. The pictures below are from what Macys Backstage Pass looked like a couple of weekends ago on a Sunday night. This is NOT acceptable.

    They have a nice furniture section on the 3rd floor. I like the mattress section. It is homey and restful. It is also large and doesn't feel claustrophobic. Abdul was helpful and not pushy. Nuances that customers would miss such as "On this side the bed is firm, and on the other side it is plush" were explained. There is a ton of variety in mattresses at different price points unlike "Mattress Firm" which quote on the higher side of the market. One buys mattresses infrequently. That said this is a good place with great customer service.

    Writing bad reviews is always painful. I have been thinking about what to say such that the…read morebusiness is not hurt as this could be a small franchise business... stores are closing down... and it's a very stressful time. However, this was out of hand! I was trying to return a tie that frizzed up on me after wearing it for one time as well as a few other items I purchased with the tie. Service was terrible from the first salesman I interacted with; and when I told them I was doing a return, he pointed to someone in dressing room some distance away and said he's the manager you need to talk to him. I didn't notice him having on any store credentials; name tag, badge, etc; I wasn't even sure if he was the right person because As the guy approached me, He barely acknowledged me and kind of walked off without engaging... at first I thought that I must've gotten a customer that was not the manager (esp since the first salesman just pointed to someone), but he eventually turned around at one of the registers and beckoned for me to come. As I pulled out the tie and tried to explain, he started to cut me off before I could get my second sentence out; I got pretty irate, as it took me raising my voice and asking him to wait until I finish so I can explain the tie frizzed after only wearing it once and it was defective. He then started making up policies asking where is the tag, were is the box (cut me off before I could even say it didn't come with a box), implying they don't take back items which were worn. However the tie had a big Jos A Bank tag on it. I reviewed the policy to see if I misread, as I reviewed it before coming to the store. The policy was clear, I had 90 days and if I'm not satisfied I can return the item as long as I had a receipt, which confirmed it purchased these items in much less than 90 days. I think he really wanted to argue because the minute I said anything he didn't like such as to read the store policy online, he started taking over me. He promised to show me the store policy before I leave and after the transaction was over looked me in my face and said he didn't have it although he refused to take the tie back and made a smart comment when I requested that he take the other items which I did have the tag. He said his name was Riad refused to provide a last name or initial. But recommended that I call the manager and customer service which I did but after almost 10min on hold I hung up. Yelpers - I am curious has anyone else had a problem returning defective items to Jos A Bank? I see the store usually responds to these, so before you respond, please speak to your manager Riad (?) and help me to understand what was it about me that made him act that way and he really didn't have much to go off besides my appearance? My time has been wasted now, but I am very curious as to what stimulated his reaction? Does the store make up policies on certain people and what's that criteria.

Sucks to be her age and not being able to retire, that's probably why she acts that way. In any case, bought a Samsonite luggage two months ago. Removed NO tags. Kohls only had the tag with the order# and I left it there. Went to return this item and the old witch said she needed the SKU number. She was able to scan the tag with the order# but needed the SKU. I wasn't able to log into the Kohls app so couldn't get it that way. Asked her to get it through my Kohls CC but she already scanned the order# tag (seemed a bit lazy, as if she didn't want to start the process over). At the end of the day, was able to get it through the confirmation email. Making the refund process difficult is what makes the customer not want to return! Will be using my Kohls cash and will think twice before EVER ordering anything from KOHLS!

The prices at Kohls, and it's with knowing and deploying sales techniques, isn't as good as that other company either. Used to find great deals at Kohl's, and am not sure what they are doing. They have a nice selection of clothing, but again the internet retailers mostly take it to them. Nice employees. Want to put out good customer service. They were smart with Amazon and Sephora, but plenty of discounters online also. People that "must have now," might be perfectly happy with this. More power to them, as I'd rather save money. This is a very clean store, and one aspect they shine on is kids clothes. To me it's an average store, and on a positive note it's not too busy.
