I had them look it over before purchasing this Toyota Rav4 and they assured me it was as great car. Within months several things went wrong with the car that racked up thousands of dollars in repairs, way beyond the original cost of the vehicle. These were things that a mechanic should be able to see and predict, like the transmission completely giving out. Within a year I had put $12,000 into repairs on this car that they had originally assured me would be a great purchase. It was the transmission that really soured my entire experience with Ruby Isle. They sent it somewhere to have a rebuilt transmission put in, which took at least 6 weeks. It cost over $6,000, but came with a warranty, a warranty we were still under. A few months after the transmission replacement, my daughter drove the car to California to take a temp job for 6 months. A week before she was to drive it back home, the replaced transmission gave out. Her lease was up, she had to leave and was forced to buy another car to get home. I had called John at Ruby Isle as soon as this happened and he wanted me to bring the car in. I could not bring the car in as it was now dead on the ground in California. He said I should have given them more notice, even though I had called and not heard back from him for a number of days and there was no way to give more notice. This is how things happen - she's in CA and out of her apartment in days with no where to go and she can't get home. John said he would contact the transmission place they had used to see if there was somewhere she could take the car out in CA, but he never got back to me in time (said the transmission people hadn't gotten back to him in time), so that car is now a complete loss and I never got a cent back from the warranty on that transmission. I also never heard back from John again, despite his promise that he would look into the warranty with the transmission people. He completely ghosted me, haven't heard from him in months now. I suppose he figures it's over and done, but I lost over $12,000 on that car in less than 18 months after his assurance that this was a good purchase for my daughter. My confidence in Ruby Isle is shattered and I can never go back there. I will never trust their expertise, and I was completely taken for thousands of dollars, over $12,000, in the end.

I could undo the top hat bolt with my hand! not only that but they didn't even bother to put my inner fender liners back together which is very dangerous, also each strut was missing 2 bolts!!! lastly they didnt even put my trunk liner back together. over all a half ass job.

I have been there many times within the past 3 to 5 years and have never been disappointed. The prices were reasonable. I was fully informed of everything that was done to my car which was always fixed on time and often ahead of time. The reason and behind the one star review is that customers were not notified that they were permanently closing. I was in from minor adjustment the week of Christmas and no one ever said anything to me about the closing. Now I have to go out and find another repair place that treats customers just like I was treated at Wright Auto Repair. Come back Harley. Come back!

Had a case of the scratchy brakes among a few other things, called them on a Monday and they got me in first thing Tuesday. I got new brake pads and rotors, an oil change, and they were able to fix a leaky tire from a previous chain place that botched the valve sensor all for an astoundingly reasonable price. It was also done in a day and they didn't try to upsell me on anything unnecessary. Authentic, quick, reliable service and people that make my life easier. I'll be back.

They explain the issue and give me options for how to fix it depending on how much I can spend at the moment. They fix much more than their name suggests. Ny last trip they replaced my front rotors which I thought would be expensive. When I got the bill I found they covered the rotors and installation under warranty without even talking to me about it. Beware of this place. They are EXTREMELY expensive and they have lost my trust. I brought my car…read morein and was told it needed over $1400 of repairs for an air flow sensor issue along with one more repair. Previous to this- about 5 months before they had already repaired the sensor. Of course they told me it is another issue (not the same repair). Their diagnostic fee is very expensive as well at $225 just to take 5 minutes to plug in a machine to see the codes to what is wrong. I took my car to get a second opinion and they were able to repair my car for $800 less!!! Also they noted the work done on my sensor was not done well by Silver Lake so they had to repair it as well. I'd recommend finding a local auto repair show instead. They are more trustworthy and fair in pricing.
